Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Crazy Card Draw, Card Advanced Device

"Recharge Spiritual Stones and receive an extra 3000 Spiritual Stones!"

"The mysterious gift has been sent!"

Looking at the spirit stones that had arrived in his account, Caesar didn't open the mysterious gift just yet. Instead, he went straight to the card drawing interface.

This was the highest number of spirit stones Caesar had ever saved up!

"980 for a ten-draw. I can do 33 advanced ten-draws in a row. Even if it's just the guaranteed pulls, I should get seven or eight gold cards! Come on, give them to me!"

Golden cards flew everywhere, and soon ten cards floated mid-air. As they flipped over, the result showed: one gold, one blue, and eight green cards.

Not wanting to waste time, Caesar immediately focused on the golden card.

"Hyorinmaru Fragment (Gold) ×20."

Looking at the Zanpakutō fragment, Caesar's mouth twitched slightly.

Then came another ten-draw burst.

"Sanji (Gold), Somersault Cloud (Gold) ×20."

Two golds in one go and a character card—now that was more like it.

Caesar slotted Sanji into the card slot, and his overall attributes improved once again.

He kept going!

But perhaps because the Sanji card had already been acquired, all he got after that were fragments. And not even matching ones—just random pieces of different characters and equipment. None of them could be synthesized into full cards.

Especially painful was the 22nd ten-draw: three golds appeared, but all of them turned out to be experience cards. That nearly broke Caesar's spirit.

Facing the last 11 ten-draw chances, Caesar took several deep breaths. He stood up, went to the bathroom, washed his face with cold water multiple times, and scrubbed his hands a dozen times.

After mentally resetting, Caesar sat back down and resumed the card draws.

The cards flew again. As they flipped over, Caesar sighed.

Only one gold.

He was speechless. After more than 20 ten-draws, not only had he failed to synthesize any red cards, he hadn't even seen a single red silhouette!

Feeling defeated, Caesar just mass-confirmed the remaining draws all at once, without even checking them one by one.

Then—

Ten red figures flashed into view, stunning Caesar.

"Jiro (Red) ×10, Jiro (Red) ×10, Jiro (Red) ×10, Philosopher's Stone (Red) ×10, Hogyoku (Red) ×10, Jiro (Red) ×10, Meliodas (Red) ×10, Escanor (Red) ×10, Beerus (Red) ×10, GOD (Red) ×10."

Caesar's eyes lit up as he hurried to open his backpack. Seeing he now had 40 fragments of Jiro, the acupuncture master, he muttered regretfully to himself.

Only 20 more fragments, and he could synthesize a red card!

Jiro, the acupuncture master, was a man who could press the acupuncture points of the earth itself. If he hadn't died in his own story, he alone might've brought about the finale.

Too bad the fragments weren't complete yet. Otherwise, Caesar would love to try him out and see just how strong his power would become.

After storing away the fragments, Caesar checked the gold cards he received.

"Not bad. Two successful cards. That's something, at least."

The first surprised him.

Soma Yukihira from Food Wars!—the Medicine King.

Unfortunately, it was a culinary anime. Even gifted to Caesar, the card added virtually no stats. He wasn't even as strong as a basic white card like Satan.

"But I'll hold onto it."

Caesar figured if he accepted Soma's card, he could work as a chef. After all, he'd seen commissions from restaurants and kitchens while browsing the request board.

With both Sanji and Yukihira Soma, he could accept those kinds of commissions too.

Then came the second card, and Caesar's eyes truly lit up.

Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, had arrived!

Seeing the iconic blond figure on the card, Caesar instantly slotted him into his lineup, replacing Iruka.

After that, Caesar sorted through the remaining purple, blue, and green cards. By the end, his entire attribute lineup and card slots had been refreshed.

Name: CaesarLevel: 1Strength: 6+ (184)Power: 8+ (173)Agility: 7+ (201)Magic Type: Take Over MagicEquipment: Snow WalkCard Slots: Inuyasha (Gold), Minato Namikaze (Gold), Edward (Gold), Sanji (Gold), Sonic the Hedgehog (Purple), Elizabeth (Purple)

At this point, Caesar's attributes had become ridiculously high.

Based on Caesar's own estimates, even Erza's physical strength and agility stats were likely just over 100 at this stage. She was like a humanoid Tyrannosaurus Rex.

But now, thanks to his cards, Caesar had surpassed her.

Still, stats were just stats. In real battles, it all depended on how well you could use your abilities. It wasn't just about raw numbers.

But that didn't matter.

Caesar smiled confidently—he was ready to go and humiliate Gray!

But before that...

Caesar finally opened the mysterious gift.

"Congratulations! You have received a Card Upgrader and ten purple blank cards."

Caesar blinked, confused at first.

Then he studied the card upgrader's description carefully and immediately understood.

It was a synthesis system that allowed him to merge unwanted cards to create new ones. Five cards of the same rank would form one new card of the same level; ten cards of the same rank would synthesize a higher-level card.

He tested it with the ten blank purple cards.

As the upgrader activated, the ten purple cards shattered into violet light, which gathered in the center. After a moment, a golden card emerged.

"Weather Staff (Gold)."

Caesar raised an eyebrow—it wasn't a card he could use. But the surplus cards he'd gathered earlier were now finally useful.

"Not bad at all."

He kept testing it, converting his excess green and blue cards into purple ones, and finally combining those into more gold cards.

In the end, Caesar had three more gold cards.

Two were ordinary character cards with no stat boosts—useless, but he could save them as material for future upgrades.

The only one worth using was a prop card.

Once activated, a brand new sword appeared in Caesar's inventory.

Hitsugaya Toshiro's Zanpakutō—Hyorinmaru, Soul Society's most powerful ice-type blade.

Even without using its Shikai form, the sword still emitted a chilling aura.

Caesar nodded, satisfied.

With this sword in hand, he wouldn't need a new weapon anytime soon.

Hyorinmaru had a massive attack range. Its spiritual pressure alone could freeze the moisture in the air, form an ice dragon, and even manipulate the weather for additional snow and ice damage.

Who wouldn't love a sword like that?
