The kids look around at the small village that they were in right now as they follow Jijimon through it. They see a small playground with a few different-colored tires were half buried in the ground next to a seesaw; other than that, there really wasn't much to the village at all. Lincoln reaches into his pocket.
"I'm going to see if I can call my family in our world." said Lincoln. He pulls his phone out of his pocket, only to see the screen completely cracked. "Dang it; transporting here must've broken my phone." Clyde pulls his phone out of his pocket to see it was broken.
"My phone's broken too." said Clyde.
"Ours too." said Stella as she, Rusty, Liam, and Zach held their now broken phones.
"Guess we can't call home." said Clyde.
"Don't worry; I'm sure we'll find a way to get you children back to your world." said Jijimon. "Now let's say we get you something to eat."
They soon arrive near a small field where a small green quadrapedal Digimon with a sprout on its head was standing.
"Good morning, Tanemon." said Jijimon.
"Good morning, Jijimon." said the Digimon now identified as Tanemon. "What can I help you with?"
"Do you have any meat for our guests here?" asked Jijimon. Tanemon looks over at Lincoln and his friends with surprise.
"Humans?" Tanemon responds.
"Yes." said Jijimon. Tanemon looks back at the field behind her where Lincoln and his friends notice that large slabs of meat were growing out of it.
"Meat grows out of the ground here?" asked Lincoln.
"Doesn't it in your world?" replied Jijimon.
"No; never grew meat on my family's farm; we grew corn and rutabagas, but never anything like prime rib." said Liam.
"It looks like there's meat ready for harvesting." said Tanemon. She turns around and collects some in a basket and hands it to Jijimon.
"Thank you very much." said Jijimon. As the group heads back towards Jijimon's home, Lincoln notices that some of parts of the village looked a little damaged, plus some of the little Digimon were bandaged up a bit.
"I hope you don't mind me asking but did something happen here recently?" asked Lincoln. Jijimon looks over at the little Digimon and his shoulders drop a little.
"I guess you can say that." said Jijimon. They soon reach Jijimon's home and the group gets to work, cooking up the meat. Once it was prepared, the group all sat at a small table and started to eat. As they do, Lincoln sees the Botamon that was on him, looking at the food Lincoln was eating.
"You hungry, Botamon?" asked Lincoln.
"Yep." replied Botamon. Lincoln uses his fork and knife to cut a small piece of the meat he was eating and gives it to Botamon who begins eating it.
"Maybe you should all feed your Digimon, too; they did hatch last night." said Jijimon.
"Our Digimon?" asked Rusty.
"Yes; they hatched from DigiEggs that came from you." replied Jijimon.
"I laid an egg?" asked Liam.
"Actually, immediately after I found you kids, those eggs came out of you." explained Jijimon. The kids' jaws dropped upon hearing this information. Once they got over their shock, the kids fed their respective Digimon some meat as well. All of a sudden, light started coming out of their pockets; they reach into them and pull out the devices that came out of their respective DigiEggs yesterday to see the light coming from the screens on them.
"What's going on?" asked Lincoln as he looks at his device along with everyone else.
"What are these devices anyway?" asked Clyde.
"Those came out of the DigiEggs yesterday after they came out of you." explained Jijimon. Lincoln notices that one of the buttons on his device was giving off a small light. Out of curiosity, he pushes it; immediately after he does, his Botamon started to glow.
"What's happening to Botamon?" asked Lincoln. Botamon started to spin around as the light grew brighter, forcing everyone to close their eyes.
"Botamon, Digivolve to..." Botamon started to say as it continued to spin. When the light faded, they all look to see that Botamon has changed into a small, pale pink, Digimon with no appendages or torso, but had two long, floppy, ears, along with some sharp teeth.
"...Koromon." said the transformed Botamon
"What happened?" asked Clyde.
"He Digivolved into Koromon!" said Jijimon.
"Digivolve?" replied Zach.
"Yes; Digimon can transform into a much stronger one." said Jijimon. Clyde, Rusty, Liam, Zach, and Stella each see a button that was giving off a light on the devices that they had and decide to press them as well. Their Digimon began to spin and glow as well.
"Botamon, Digivolve to..." Clyde and Liam's Botamon started to say as they continued spinning. When they finished, they both looked like blue cat heads with m-shaped emblems on their foreheads, with tails.
"Wanyamon." said Clyde and Liam's transformed Botamons in unison.
"Pabumon, Digivolve to..." Stella, Rusty, and Zach's Pabumon started to say as they continued to spin. When they finished, Stella's Pabumon turned into a Tanemon. Zach's Pabumon's turned into light pink, bulblike Digimon with arms.
"...Motimon." said Zach's transformed Pabumon. Rusty's Pabumon turned into a round, pink, Digimon with a blue flower on its head.
"Yokomon." said Rusty's transformed Pabumon. Zach's device begins beeping and a holographic monitor appears from the screen of the device.
"Hey; this thing says this is a Motimon, and it's something called a Data attribute." said Rusty.
"Yes; there are three Digimon attributes." said Jijimon. "Data's one of them; the other two are Vaccine and Virus."
"Sounds like we have a lot to learn about Digimon." said Stella. "Might as well as long as we're here."
"Yeah, for how long?" asked Zach. Lincoln looks at his device.
"I wonder what these things are." said Lincoln.
"Those must be Digivices." said Jijimon. "It's said they help humans Digivolve their Digimon partners, and as you saw from Rusty's, it also gives information on any Digimon you see." Lincoln then looks at his Koromon.
"Are you feeling okay, buddy?" asked Lincoln.
"I feel great." said Koromon. Lincoln points his Digivice at his Koromon.
"Like Jijimon said, you're a Koromon now, and you're a Data attribute also." said Lincoln. Clyde points his Digivice at his Digimon.
"This says that me and Liam's Botamon are Digmon called Wanyamon. It says it has no attribute." said Clyde.
"How come Lincoln's Botamon turned into a Koromon instead of a Wanyamon?" asked Rusty.
"There are multiple kinds of in-training level one Digimon can become." explained Jijimon.
"What do you mean by 'in-training level'?" asked Lincoln.
"Digimon are ranked by how strong and developed they are." explained Jijimon. "For example, a Digimon just hatched from a DigiEgg are in-training level one; the level after that is called in-training level two which is the current levels of your Digimon."
"Are there levels after that?" asked Lincoln.
"Why do you ask?" asked Jijimon.
"Like Stella said before, we might as well learn as much as we can about Digimon since we might be here for a while." said Lincoln. Stella decides to use her Digivice to learn a bit more about Tanemon.
"This says Tanemon is a Data attribute also." said Stella.
"Yokomon's a Data attribute, too." said Rusty.
Just then, Punimon comes running in through the front entrance of Jijimon's house.
"Jijimon!" shouts Punimon.
"What's the matter, Punimon?" asked Jijimon.
"The Goblimon are back!" said Punimon. Jijimon looks over at Lincoln and his friends.
"Oh, dear; not again." said Jijimon. "You kids just wait here until I return." He and the Punimon exit the house, leaving Lincoln and his friends by themselves. They all then look at each other with confusion.
"Goblimon?" said Rusty.
"I wonder what the problem is?" asked Clyde.
"Maybe we should check it out." said Lincoln.
"But Jijimon told us to wait here." said Zach.
"I just want to see what the problem is." said Lincoln. "Maybe we can help out?"
"Well, I don't feel like waiting around doing nothing." said Rusty.
"Let's just take a look really quick." said Lincoln as he walks towards the entrance.
"I'm coming with you." said Koromon as he bounces after Lincoln, followed by Lincoln's friends, and their Digimon.
"Okay, but we should all be careful." said Lincoln. "We don't know what to expect out there."
"Good call, Lincoln." said Clyde. With that, the kids and their Digimon exit the house.
