Chapter 7 - CHAPTER 7

Ding--! The host has accepted the Nine-Tails Relationship mission.

Mission content: Draw out a portion of the Nine-Tails' chakra during an encounter.

Success reward: 50 points, unlocks Zhenge Court.

Failure penalty: -10 points.

Abandon mission penalty: -5 points.

Warning: Points cannot fall below 0!

"Damn! There's always a mandatory mission. Fail or give up, and points get deducted. And this system has the nerve to claim it's for my safety…" Ye Han cursed inwardly. This wasn't some friendly support system—it was more like a predatory mall trying to squeeze him dry.

But… he wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. Luckily, I accepted the mission right away. If he'd hesitated, his points would've dropped to zero. Then giving up would have cost him another 5 points, putting him into negative territory. His journey would've ended before it even started. No matter what, the priority was clear—becoming stronger. Strong enough to survive in this world of Nine-Tails, Ten-Tails, and endless threats. Ye Han's eyes sharpened with determination. I have to seize my destiny.

---

Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki exchanged glances, puzzled at how a child like Ye Han could suddenly have such a fierce and focused expression. But soon, they both smiled, sat down beside him, and called for two extra bowls of ramen.

As they ate, they clearly doted on Ye Han, treating him like a younger brother. Ye Han felt a bit awkward at first, but the free food made up for it. With the little stipend I get each month, this is a blessing, he thought as he happily finished his meal.

---

Back at home, Ye Han threw himself into training. Awakening the Sharingan had painted a target on his back. He couldn't afford to slack off—not in a world this dangerous. Strength is the only guarantee of survival.

What he had now, his greatest advantage over others, was knowledge. He knew what was truly useful. Human energy was limited. No miraculous bloodline body could save him if he didn't train smart and hard.

As for chakra, Ye Han remembered the Academy teacher's words: Refining chakra too early can harm a child's development. So instead, he focused on hand seals. Even the youngest Academy students practiced the basic twelve seals, and mastering them took time.

Ye Han had already been practicing seals for half a year—since before transmigrating here, when he'd foolishly thought it was a fun game. Now, that silly effort paid off. His seal speed was far above that of his peers.

At first, he could form all twelve basic seals in 5 seconds. His current goal was to perform five seals per second. He wasn't as gifted as, say, Itachi Uchiha, who could do one-handed seals with ease. But he could make up for it with speed.

---

After a long day of practice, Ye Han fell asleep quickly, his body drained. Tomorrow is school… I have to be ready.

---

A month flew by. During that time, Ye Han trained relentlessly. His body became leaner, stronger, more agile. His seal speed improved—he could now form three seals per second. Pushing beyond that would be difficult, but it was still an impressive level for a child his age.

At school, his performance caught the attention of classmates and teachers alike. Whispers spread: "Ye Han is a genius." Word of his talent traveled from children to parents, from parents to other villagers. Before long, people started seeing him as a future prodigy.

---

One day, their homeroom teacher, Nakason, gathered the class on the training field.

"From the day you enrolled, it's been over a month. You've all followed the school's basic training plan well. But classroom exercises alone aren't enough to become real ninja. That's why today we're testing your combat skills."

He looked at them seriously.

"Ninja live and die by battle. Thanks to generations of shinobi who risked their lives, the Hidden Leaf enjoys peace today. In this test, you'll spar one-on-one. I'll score you based on your performance. These scores will count toward your graduation. There will be a strength test like this every month—if you want to become true ninja, fight to win!"

---

Ding--! The host has triggered a School Mission.

Mission: Win your duels in the strength test for your safety.

Reward: 1 point per victory.

Penalty: -2 points per loss.

Difficulty: F

Ye Han rolled his eyes. Really? Just 1 point per win? But at least it's an easy mission. He accepted without hesitation.

The students were fired up. Whether boy or girl, all had come here to become ninja. None wanted to fall behind.

Nakason held up a box filled with name slips.

"We'll draw lots to determine match-ups. Yamasaki, you're first."

"Yes!" Yamasaki stepped up, drew a name, and handed it to Nakason.

"Yamasaki versus Uchiha Shun."

Ye Han smirked. Poor Yamasaki. He drew Shun in the first round.

The two faced off.

"Please take it easy on me," Yamasaki said nervously.

"Please," Shun replied quietly.

Yamasaki rushed in with a shout. Shun dodged easily, slipped behind him, and lightly tapped his back.

"The match is over," Nakason announced. "Uchiha Shun wins!"

---

Match after match passed. Finally, Ye Han's name came up—against Sato, a cocky boy who liked to show off.

"Please advise," Ye Han said politely.

"Hah! You'd better give up before you start crying," Sato taunted.

Ye Han smiled coldly. "You should be the one worrying about that."

Sato secretly pulled out two shuriken and flung them at Ye Han. But Ye Han calmly caught both between two fingers, barely moving. The class gasped.

Nakason smiled approvingly. Ye Han's control and reflexes were beyond his age.

Sato, flustered, threw more shuriken—but Ye Han knocked them aside with ease. Sato, desperate now, charged with a kunai. Ye Han side-stepped, trapped Sato's wrist, and twisted the kunai toward Sato's own throat. The fight was over in a blink.

"Winner: Ye Han!" Nakason announced.

Ding--! The host defeated an opponent. +1 point. Please keep it up!

Ye Han grinned. Just a few more points, and I'll have enough to unlock the next feature. Maybe even get to the two-tomoe Sharingan before graduation.

His friend Inamura cheered.

"That was awesome, Ye Han!"

"Hard work pays off," Ye Han said with a wink.

---

Sato slunk away, face red with shame. The class murmured in awe. Ye Han, the quiet boy, had just shown them what real strength looked like.
