Chapter 41 - Chapter 41 : The Butcher's Eyes

1 – A Rooftop. A Coffee. A Job.

One sugar. No cream.

Toji sipped from the vending machine can and watched them from above.

The sun was too bright. The girl was too loud. The guards? All three of them were too relaxed.

He had time. That was the beauty of it. They didn't even know he existed yet.

And he'd already killed them in his mind.

---

2 – "Mad Dog"

The one in black.

Ragged edges. Hands in pockets. Walked like he didn't give a damn but kept scanning side streets.

Kishibe.

Toji could tell right away—this one bit first and figured things out later.

No speeches. No faith. Just sharp instincts and blood-stained logic.

"Mad Dog," Toji muttered.

That's what he was. The kind of fighter who didn't need orders. Just a reason to draw his blade.

You don't tame a mad dog. You just put it down before it turns on everyone.

---

3 – "The Hollow King"

White hair. Blindfold. Mouth never stopped.

Satoru Gojo.

You could practically hear the ego from up here. Like the world owed him something just for breathing.

But there was power too. Pressure around him like static. If Toji weren't careful, that kid would turn the ground inside out.

Still…

"Hollow King," he whispered, smirking.

All that power, all that talk, and nothing underneath. No scars. No dirt. Just a throne made of inherited bloodline and untested arrogance.

A hollow king rules until someone reminds him what pain feels like.

---

4 – "The False Prophet"

The calm one with the monk-like face.

Suguru Geto.

Charmed the girl. Kept the team on pace. Said the right things. But Toji had seen enough men like him to know:

They didn't believe half the crap they preached.

"False Prophet."

Acted holy. Carried himself like a savior. But he was already rotting on the inside. A time bomb wrapped in silk.

Toji grinned darkly. "You'll fall hardest of all."

---

5 – "The Doll"

And the girl at the center of it all.

Riko Amanai.

She laughed when Gojo made a stupid joke. Tugged at Geto's sleeve. Asked Kishibe if he ever smiled. She didn't belong here.

Toji watched her through his tinted lenses.

She was just a Doll.

Not a person. Not to him.

Just something to shatter—so the cracks would spread.

---

6 – The Knife Comes Out

He stood, slid the blade from his belt, and let the wind run its fingers through his hair.

This wasn't about money anymore.

It was about showing them what happens when their system fails.

> "Let's break the Mad Dog."

"Shatter the Hollow King."

"Expose the False Prophet."

"And crush the Doll."

Toji dropped the coffee can off the edge. It landed with a soft clunk in the alley below.

Time to work.
