Well guys, I'm so tired now after I've finished this game Fortress Master Zombie Defense that you guys recommended me to play. I can say it was pretty fun. I enjoyed its unique mechanics. It was pretty hard though. I will never play the Catastrophe inf mode again—I felt bad for the ones I sacrificed.
A viewer named Hex250 donated $100 and said in the chat box, "I enjoyed watching you, Rafa, conquer the game. You even managed to become the number 1 player on the Global Server. I hope you play again and make a tutorial on different regions of Virelia."
Oh! Sure thing, I was planning to do that anyway. Do you guys have any other questions? If not, I will end my stream now.
A viewer named Kraken512 donated $500 and said in the box, "I have a challenge for you. Because I'm amazed—you're the only one who managed to survive 364 days in infinite mode before being defeated—I will send you a private email."
The chat box erupted with messages.
A curious viewer said, "What the frick man, is that the real Kraken?! One of the devs of the game?"
A viewer responded, "Yeah, what do you think the challenge will be?"
A random viewer commented, "I'm gay."
An angry viewer replied, "Mute that guy, mods!"
An excited viewer chatted, "Maybe he'll test a new game mode?"
A challenge, huh? From a dev? From the looks of it, he seems legit from the reaction of my viewers. I accept the challenge, Kraken! Now guys, I'll end the livestream. I need to rest now so I'm prepared for doing the challenge tomorrow. Rafa out! Peace.
Phew, I'm done livestreaming. I should check my inbox. Oh, there it is, an email from Kraken512.
Kraken512's email message:
Dear player Rafael,
We are inviting you to test our new game mode because you've proven that you are a capable individual who can clear this challenge. Take note—it's serious. This will be the hardest game mode we've ever made and you'll ever play: Ragnarök: Wrath of the Withered One mode. Just click the link down below to join.
Alright, seems legit. I'm going to click the link now. I hope it's not a virus. What? Nothing happened?! DAMN IT! I think it's a virus. Should I chat him? Should I tell him the link doesn't work? Well, my instinct won.
Rafael sends an email to Kraken512 and says that the link doesn't work.
Kraken512 immediately responded, "It worked. You're already registered as a tester. You'll be able to play tomorrow. Because I like your playstyle, I will gift you something in your inventory."
He replied so fast. Is he a hacker or a scammer? Well, whatever. I'm too tired for this shit. I'm going to sleep.
* * *
It's warm. I feel fresh air. It's so quiet. Am I in heaven?
Rafael slowly opens his eyes and is squinting because of the bright sun. As he looks above the skies, he stretches his arms up towards the blue sky, trying to grasp the clouds, and says, "I wish this is real. I want to stay here forever."
And he tries to sleep again, but he can no longer endure the heat of the sun and stands up, confused.
"What the hell is this?! Where am I? Did I just get kidnapped while I'm asleep? Why am I in a forest? What's this—a letter?"
Rafael reads the letter.
Dear Rafael,
I know you're confused right now because of what is happening. You… are… inside… the game. Now try surviving from now on. I left a guide book for you and some gold coins and a sword for starting your journey. If you defeat the Withered One, the Patron Gods will grant you one wish each.
Take note: if you die in this world, you're dead in reality. No more second chances.
I hope you finish this game.
Truly yours,
Kraken512 <3
Rafael falls to his knees, looks pale, and says,
"I hope you finish this game. The fxck, what does that mean?! I take back what I said earlier—I don't want to stay here forever! Kraken, if you can hear me, please take me back to Earth! Finish this game? I'm already finished."
There was a moment of silence.
Rafael realizes that the only way out is to finish the game. Rafael stands up and reads the guide book Kraken left him.
"I hope this thing is useful. I'm going to check this out… Oh, I can see character details. I'm in the game, so I'm basically a character too. Let me see, how can I check character details… hmm… oh, there it is—select a character: me."

"Whoa, I'm a genius! I have SS+ on Intelligence—but the other stats are shit… Like how the hell is my Strength a C? And why the hell is my trait like that? Anyway, at least I'm blessed by Zetian. I already have a class? i thought I'm going to pick for my own class the skill of this new class is cool it's a huge help in battle."
Flashback…
Oh… yeah… all I do is eat, sleep, and play video games.
But the strength stat is not fair! Anyway, let's consume more knowledge… Oh, I have the inventory thingy. I can put stuff there—this is good. How do I open this infinite inventory—
[Infinite Inventory]
- 500 Gold coins
- Steel sword
- Flag
Oh… there's my sword and gold coins. I can buy people now—ehm… I mean hire.
How do I take this out though? Do I click like in the game? Well, I'll know if I try.
[Do you want to take out the Steel sword?]
[Yes] or [No]
Yes.
This sword is heavy… Time to read again.
What's this? Find a place to build your bastion. Use the flag to confirm your position.
Huh?! I'm going to build my own bastion? I thought it was built-in like in the game. Where should I go? I don't even know what region this is.
I'll just go to the West. I hope I find some river or sea because those spots are the best for geographical defenses and food sources. Mountains are good too, but finding food and other resources there is hard.
Rafael started his journey towards the west. In the midst of his journey, he stumbled upon a man lying on the ground with a horse.
"Who is this guy? Why is he lying on the ground? Should I approach him? Ok, I'll just check on him… ugh… he reeks. Is he dead or something? Let me check his details."

Oh… no wonder he reeks—he's drunk.
What kind of trait is that—Alcoholic?
Hey, wake up! Poke! Poke!"
