After 5 months, the trouble from the underworld is rising and targeting the Rosévet family, as the High-13 are now hunting them as threats because of the true Bloodhound. Ric was assigned to take Lilly shopping for her upcoming event, while Rosévet, Maria, Lucas, and the priest gathered for a secret meeting.
Rosévet - I hope we all know why we are here.
Lucas - (silent)
Maria - (silent)
Priest - I hope who is not supposed to listen is not listening. May God protect us from the devil who possessed a man. Amen.
Rosévet, Maria, Lucas - Amen.
Rosévet - This was the 4th time, Father. Are you sure your holy treatment can keep him contained?
Priest - You doubt me?
Maria - It's not about doubt, Father. Brother Ric is succumbing to sin after sin.
Lucas - The whole world knows us as the RBH, but no one knows who the real Bloodhound is except for us...and that man in Japan who triggered Brother.
Rosévet - Don't mention the devil, Lucas.
Lucas - My apologies, Master.
Priest - As long as we keep him away from those triggering words, it should be manageable. But in his current state, anything could set him off—rage, pain, anything reminiscent of the first exorcism. It's your duty, Rosévet, to keep him leashed. After all, he was your creation.
Rosévet - What I did to him was to save him. I never imagined it would twist him like this, Father.
Priest - This discussion is over. Goodbye. If you need me, you know where to find me.
Maria - This way, Father.
Three days later, everything appeared calm at the mansion. Lilly prepared for her event, Maria sat sharpening her knife while lost in thought, and Lucas and Ric handled chores assigned by Miss Lilly. Though terrified of Ric, Lucas forced himself to act normal.
Ric - Goddammit, Lucas! What's wrong with you? I asked about the delivery—we're low on ammo and supplies. Did you contact Mark? Say something!
Lucas - I...I'm sorry, Big Bro. I don't know what to do.
Ric - Huh?! You're in charge of supplies! First Maria, now you—what the hell is going on?!
Lucas - I'm sorry, Brother.
Ric - Forget it. I'll handle it myself. Wait...what's that on your neck? A mark?
Lucas - (hesitates, hiding the wound from the fourth failed exorcism) It's...just a burn from cooking. The flames were too high.
Ric - (narrowing his eyes) Be more careful.
The weapons delivery arrived, but the man wasn't Mark. Ric's instincts flared.
Ric - You're not Mark.
Delivery Man - I'm his associate. Don't worry.
Ric - Unload the cargo and get out.
The delivery man's hands bore wounds identical to Lucas's. Suddenly, he began muttering.
Delivery Man - (indistinct mumbling)
Ric - Hey! What are you saying? What's your name?
Delivery Man - (continues mumbling)
Ric - What language is that? Answer me!
A gunshot rang out—Maria's sniper bullet struck the delivery man down.
Maria - (over comms) That was close. Thank God I was on overwatch.
Lucas appeared behind Ric, syringe in hand.
Lucas - Forgive me, Big Brother.
The needle plunged into Ric's neck, rendering him unconscious. From his office window, Rosévet witnessed everything...and reached for his phone to call the Priest.
