Kaze's eyes scanned the rooftop taking in the aftermath of the battle, "I thought I sensed a damned here" she said, her voice firm. "Is everything alright?" Her gaze settled on Asher noticing the extent of his injuries, he's leg baldy hurt, blood stains all over his white T-shirt and his left eye black and swollen. Asher managed a weak smile despite the pain, "yeah, everything is" he said, his voice filled with determination.
Meanwhile, Hiroto stepped forward, he saw the lifeless body of the damned from a distance down, it's form still fresh in death. He's eyes widened on Surprise as he took in the sheer scale of the creature. "This guy has no Aura or ki weapons, but he killed an Infernal Archon. Hiroto's gazed back at Asher, his eyes searching for any identification or a sign of a demon Hunter but all he can see was tattered clothes, stained with blood and sweat. "His appearance is far from that of a typical hunter, he looked more like a survivor, someone who had been through a war" hiroto thought to himself. "You must be pretty strong and have courage for a normal guy like you to kill a damned, why don't you join us and be a demon Hunter?" Asher thought for a moment, his mind racing with hiroto's words as he remembered the pain of losing his father to a damned, the burning desire for revenge that had driven him since then. The thought of joining the demon hunters, using his strength to protect other's and avenge his father's death, resignated deeply within him. "Hello" kaze said, Asher was far thinking and he snapped back to reality, "oh! Yes, I will join and am willing to put an end to all the damned and demons" Asher swore, his voice firm and clear, filled with rage and burning desire. Hiroto and kaze exchanged a look, their eyes with a glimmer of interest as they have found a potential recruit, someone with untapped potential and determination for justice.
A shimmering portal opened in the air, Satsuki and Goro emerged from it's ethereal depths. The air seemed to ripple and distort as they stepped through, their arm's solidifying into sharp relief. "Any good news about Yuki?" Cold asked, his voice laced with a mixture of curiosity and wariness. Satsuki's expression turned grave, her eyes clouding over like a stormy sky. "No, he didn't come", she replied, her voice measured, "it was just his little puppet hunters that came to the rescue of the people". Cold's face twisted into a growl, "Tsssk" he hissed, his eyes flashing with irritation but Satsuki's next words arrested his attention, her voice dropping into a more serious tone. "There was something strange that happened", she continued, her words painting a vivid picture in cold's mind. "After performing the Blood oath ritual and creating a damned, a young boy was in the building yet, the damned left him untouched without attacking him in any way". Cold's face darkened as he listened intently, "the only damned that attacked him was an Archon" Satsuki elaborated "but even then, the boy seemed resistant. The Archon poisoned him but it didn't seem to have much effect on him and in a turning event, the boy killed the damned".
"The kid is really something else, Goro spoke". Futoshi's brow furrowed in concern, his expression thoughtful, "well, that's stranged, damned are more like brainless supernatural creatures driven solely by their hunger and instics though they do reason, alot but one thing that they don't do, is show mercy to their prey unless they have been turned then they won't attack the person, or cold and Yuki".
"Does that means there's someone who can tame the damn?" Goro asked his voice filled with anticipation but cold's expression remained somber, his eyes clouding over like a darkening Storm, "No" he said, his voice firm. "If he could tame the damned, they would have do his bidding. He would have to command or perform some technique to control them, but according to Satsuki's story that wasn't the case because the damned left the boy". Cold's eyes widened in a deep realisation, "unless....., We have to get that boy as soon as possible before anyone else does".
Meanwhile asher entered his house, his mother who had been crying, rushed towards him, her face etched with worry and relief, "Asher!" She exclaimed, embracing him tightly, "are you okay? I've been looking for you all over since I heard about the damned". Asher's lips curled into a gentle smile "I'm alright mom" he said, a soft chuckle escaping his lips, "don't worry about it" he reassured her. "Thank Goodness your alright" she said, her eyes scanning his form, "why are you not dressed in your suit and why are your eyes swollen?" She said, her voice filled with worry. Asher's smile grew wider, his eyes crinkling at the corners, "the most important thing is am alive", he said his voice filled with assurance. His mother nodded, her face softening as she hugged him tightly. "Who are those outside?" Asher's mom asked. "There my new friends" Asher answered, "come in guys" he said. As they entered, Asher's mom saw their outfits and she knew they were demon hunters. "Good day ma'am", they both greeted, "your son is really brave, he killed a damned".
"A damned?" Asher's mom thought in awe "is it why he's eyes are swollen". "Yeah Mom, and I want to be a demon Hunter". Asher's mom's face clouded over a look of fear and worry "no, no way" she spoke, her voice firm.
