The anthem of the Empire was sang uniformly by the Red Clan with everyone formally saluting the flag of the Empire.

They had their hands stretched into the air. Performing the nazi salute while the anthem was being sad.

But the only difference was that it was a nazi salute with two fingers pointed into the air.

The Empire's flag was designed using the crimson color. A three eyed phoenix was displayed on the flag.

It's flags spread into the sky with the blazing scorched down upon the earth.

Everyone recited the Empire's anthem word to word in unison. No one dared move an inch from where they stood.

Savitar was no exception.

If he was caught not singing along. He would be executed on the spot.

Savitar breathed heaved in relief. Staring at the Inquisitors present in the hall, they were all clad in red.

With their faces covered with the plain masks they had on.

Their eyes flickered.

The present leader of the Inquisitors cleared his throat, drawing attention towards himself.

"Greetings awakened slaves of the Empire. My name is Inquisitor Jang. Your instructor "

"Y'all are here for a single reason, to serve the Empire"

"We're all dignified instruments of the Emperor. We live to serve him, we die to protect the Empire "

"And as the examination will commence. I'll explain in details what this examination will be"

" Considering the fact that everyone here are Slaves. You tools are not informed regarding informations related to the awakened"

"Firstly since everyone of you are awakened. You must have felt it right? Those sensitivity….those instincts "

"The ability to detect heat signatures and notices entities both non awakened and awakened"

"Those are known as Traits"

"And Traits can be divided into two aspects. and "

Inquisitor Jang explained.

He stretched forth his hand. The crowd was thrown into shock when they witnessed the release of Starlight Energy.

"Wow"

The crowd exclaimed in unison.

"This is the , now that everyone here is awakened. They should be able to generate their Starlight Energy"

"It may be faint or weak but it's still effective "

"While the is all about bringing forth your Starlight Energy into reality "

"But that depends on how efficient and solid your Starlight Energy is"

Inquisitor Jang explained.

He couldn't help but smile.

His Starlight Energy emitted crimsoned light.

"Since I'm done explaining the Traits. I'll be talking about the two aspects of Starlight Energy"

"As you can see, my Starlight Energy emit crimsoned light. This is specifically designed for destruction "

"Every awakened has only one aspect of the Starlight Energy. No one can possess the two at the same time"

"Your Starlight Energywill be ranked as percentage "

"First tier ranges from 1% to 25%, second tier ranges from 26% to 45%"

"Third tier ranges from 46% to 65% and it continues that way"

"In a few minutes time everyone will be sent to the Acadia Hall. In there will your Cariburn Chip be awakened"

"I don't need to explain further of the Cariburn Chip right? but I can tell y'all one thing….It's your support system"

"the Cariburn Chip has been implanted into your bodies right? It's already linked to your soul so it's primarily for you alone"

"No one else can access your Cariburn Chip. Not even me" Inquisitor Jang explained.

Savitar shrugged off his shoulders. He smirked.

"That's a blatant lie. There's no way the Empire would give out the Cariburn Chips to slave without having control over it"

"Although we may have awakened but we're still slaves" Savitar whispered.

"Inside the Acadia Hall. Your Cariburn Chips will be awakened and in there will your ranks be confirmed "

"In the Empire. We believe in strength makes might, only those who are strong shall be acknowledge"

"Once your Cariburn Chip has been activated. You will awaken your Skill, both your Starlight Energy's aptitude and pool will be graded"

"But the most important of them all is your Skills"

"Skills are abilities which shapes the world in its own right. But one cannot awaken a Skill without a weakness"

"Once you have awakened a Skill. The appropriate weakness will be adminstered to you"

"The stronger your Skill is. The crazy and vile your weakness will be"

"I wish you all the best. Awakened"

"It's time"

Inquisitor Jang declared. Every single awakened Slave saluted him…..

The metallic door leading out of the hall opened up. It's time for them to leave, one after the other they left the hall.

The three days time they were given was enough for the awakened Slaves to make new friends. Many formed their own groups.

But only a few moved alone. Savitar's amongst them.

Savitar sighed softly. Taking a step forward.

"You're already going? Savitar" a voice questioned. Savitar halted his movements, he turned to see Ducktavious and Quackwisha.

"Yh….what about ya?" Savitar asked.

"Well we don't know yet. Our fate rests on this examination….what if we fail? I'm scared " Ducktavious answered.

"Huh? Scared?"

"Considering you're this tall. I don't expect you to be scared, shorty over here is understandable but you're a giant. Act like it " Savitar said.

"What does my height have to do with my emotions? Even though I know I'm tall. I just have good genes"

"I'm still eighteen" Ducktavious said.

"Well eighteen means you're a legal adult already. So act like an adult and besides you already awakened"

"Even if your skill is trash. How bad could it be?" Savitar asked.

"True….if you're going, we're coming with your Savitar " Quackwisha said.

"Sure. Tag along...I don't really mind"

Just like that they followed Savitar out of the waiting hall and into the Acadia Hall.

The Acadia Hall is ten times the size of the waiting hall they were shoved in. A lot of equipments were on display.

Tools such as the Starlight Evaluation Sphere and the Activation Capsule.

Silvered colored spherical containers designed using rare metals obtained by the Empire.

Each of the Activation Capsules were designed uniquely.

They had over five thousand Starlight Evaluation Sphere and Activation Capsules. Enough for everyone.

"You're not going yet?" Quackwisha curiously asked.

"Yh I want to wait a bit and see how things go. You guys can go" Savitar said.

Quackwisha and Ducktavious left the scene. They headed for the tools. Savitar watched with his arms folded.

The scenery was insipid to him.

Awakened Slaves were getting evaluated.

Out of one thousand, four hundred and fifty Slaves who took the examination. Over one thousand ranged from D-B rank.

Six hundred of them Skills were ranked D while four hundred were ranked C. 

Two hundred and fifty awakened Slaves had their Skills ranked B.

Two hundred awakened Slaves had their Skills ranked A.

Quackwisha was given a mage class Skill which was ranked A.

Ducktavious was given a swordmanship class Skill which was also ranked A.

They both activated their Cariburn Chip.

Only them could see the status window they had on display. Quackwisha's Starlight Output is 58%

She's a third tier ranked Starlight Controller.

Making her one of the highest recorded Starlight Output today.

Ducktavious had the Starlight Output of 33%

He's a second tier ranked Starlight Controller.

Savitar is amongst the last set that's yet to be verified. He took a deep breath, a sigh escaped his lips.

Savitar squinted his eyes.

"It's time"
