I arrived at campus 15 minutes before my class started and waited for Lu to show up, unlike me, she usually takes her time before coming to class but always makes it before the class actually started, I guess you could say that was normal for students. Everything was normal, a bright sky, students going on with there normal activities, lecturers and deen moving about wondering if they have classes or not and finally when the 10 was about to clock, Lulu came in with some of her friends probably talking about cute boys they spotted on there way here, I stood up from my sit which was far up close to the window inside the lecture hall and hastly went over to Lu, as I was approaching her,she noticed me and waved her hands with her pinky and ring finger pointing out, I waved back with middle finger and pinky, indicating that it was urgent. Not many people knows this but me and Lulu go way back and at some point we created specific hand signs to communicate at a distance, weather it's to say hi or try to get out of awkward situation, we had a sign for most things but in this case, it was a signal indicating that we need to talk. Of Course I'm no fool when it comes to listening to warning 'just live your life normally or else you'll lose your sanity' but I had already taken some precautions, on phone said that the last time Lu talked to me, was around the time I left the chess venue but the massage wasn't saved and I don't know what exactly we talked about if it wasn't about that mystery girl or as I now call her "Inconnue". "Hey what's up Ikky" Lu said while sitting down next to me, now I know Lu isn't as smart as me, but she isn't as dumb enough to not know when there is something is up with me and that's the main thing I was trying to avoid in order to not lose my sanity "so yesterday, what exactly did we talked about on the phone, I kinda forgot and it seems urgent" I said while looking at her hoping that she doesn't catch on "naa it's nothing urgent, I just called to wish your opponent luck, also to ask you to bring your STAT 356 note along today" 'I knew it' that's when my suspision hits that Inconnue might just have the power to be able to re write reality, or maybe create fake one's which was still equally powerfull because I'm not sure if I still am in my own reality or a fake one, but still, it seems pretty much unbeliveable for me even though I witnessed it first hand, "oh, sorry I kinda forgot to bring it today, I drop it by later this evening when I'm coming back to campus okay" "nahh, don't stress yourself, a random girl asked if I could help her get your notes, maybe she has a crush on you or something and there's no way I could say no to that" she said while opening her notes because the lecturer has already entered the class, 'strange girl' "say, you wouldn't happen to have a picture of this strange person would ya?" I asked looking at her "why? Is someone getting interested??" she said with a smirk on her face looking at me and then back at her books "hell no, I'm just saying because I might know her, or maybe even recognise her" I said "well I don't have a picture, but I do know how to reach her, she usually attend this same class so you might even see her in a minute" "and how long have you known her?" "I dunno, maybe I've seen her around a few times, oh and her name is Percy" 'percy? Is that her real name?' "oh look,there she is now, bottom row to the right, she's really short so she stays on the front rows" Lulu said as she pointed towards where percy was sitting, I looked over, expecting it to be Inconnue but instead it was really just a random girl 'I'm pretty sure Inconnue must have done something to Lulu's mind, or maybe even rewrite her memory, but maybe this Percy girl is connected to this too' "Inconnue, now that's a weird way to name a lady you practically when through hell to save" a familiar voice said talking to me and as I turned over to my right to see her, looking down at me from the row of sit a step above mine "Yo, nice to see you again, Ikky" she said with a dramatic pause, I looked over at her, my heart was pounding as she was sitting there alive and well. "What… what are you doing here?" I said but was interrupted by the lecturer, or was it the other way around, I looked back at him and apologized for interrupting him, "we'll talk later okay, we have all the time" she said while giggling at me.
I couldn't concentrate one bit in class because a supposed-to-be dead person was sitting right next to me, ticking me off by tossing piece of paper at me when she had the chance which added more frustration 'I just have to get through this class' I said to myself while trying to cancel out all other distractions and focus in this but as much as I thought I was going crazy, I couldn't afford to fall in classes too, a paper plane landed in front of me and this was the last straw, I looked at her with a serious face, staring directly at her with pent up frustrations, she smiled and then pointed towards the paper plane, I sign and looked at it and to my surprise, it was unfolded with something written on it, 'how does she keep doing that?' I took it up to read what was written on it "hey, you need to calm down, it's not that hard, just pretend like it's a normal day" as it said on the paper, I signed again then Lu decided to jump in "hey,whatcha read Ikky?" she swiped the paper from my hand and proceeded to read it, I wanted to rush and get it out of her hands but then I thought she wouldn't understand it and I could just brush it off as a prank or something "Ikmute!?" she called my name, I looked at her "is this… is this a love letter?" Lu said as she looked at me with glitters in her eyes "a lov… no it's just… wait, let me see that" I took the paper back and as shocking as it was supposed to be, it didn't hit me that much, maybe I was starting to get used to it 'the writings on the letter have been magically re-written' I thought to myself and read the letter " Oh I wish you would notice me when you pass by Ikmute for I am in love with you and I hope you accept my feelings
Yours truly, Inconnue" as so it said, I shrugged and look at my right to find inconnue pretending to be actually focussing on the class, I tore the paper and toss it out "Lu, forget you ever saw that oaky" "no way, I mean who's Inconnue? Did you guys meet yesterday? Is she in class right now?" Lu said rushing me with a bunch of question for which I had no answer for "let's just focus in class okay, we'll talk about this later" I said shutting off the conversation before it got out of my control "fine, but promise you'll explain it all after class, or else" Lu said looking at me with a serious look on her face "promise? What are we, kids?" I said trying to brush it off "say it" "say what?" "promise me you'll talk" there was no escaping it this time, "fine, I promise" I said it finally to just make her stop pestering me.
Finaly, 10 minutes till this class was over, and I must say, that wasa the longest 2 hours of my life, I took the remaining time to reflect on the new things I have just learned, and by new, I wasn't talking about class 'So my reality have been changed or and this girl have the power to rewrite it, I don't think I'm high or anything since I don't do drugs, but,the power to rewrite reality would be almost close to infinite no matter what you want to say, since you'll literally be rewriting the whole aspect of the universe and such power cannot be wasted on me and me alone, especially by a person with that kind of attitude, which left me with the other two options, since I still remember all that happened, it means that reality wasn't rewritten as a whole, but more likely that it was rewritten for everyone and everything else except me, which would make sense but still the issue of the power is still the problem cus the power is still an even bigger infinite, which means that the third option is that she can't rewrite realities but instead have the power to manipulate memories instead, which would explain alot with everyone and since only a few people where involved, it possible for her to pull it off without need that much power and that would make her a psychi, but even tho it's the most reasonable explanation I can make up now, it still doesn't explain her almost dying infront of me, she must have planned it all out and faked some of it but still, the liquid in the glass was obviously formaldehyde and I did inject it into her, or maybe she already had a cure, but to go through such length,and for what? A prank. But still while the mind manipulation explain alot, it doesn't explain why people weren't in the park and why there was no reception and why my phone was dead at that moment, and only her can't pull such a stunt alone and not to forget the letter, what I saw wasn't the same thing that Lu's saw, and that's where mind control has it limits except maybe if everything up on till now is all in my head, that means I might still be under her control' I thought to myself before realizing it 'no, I felt the effect of it when she touched my head this morning and where I regain myself on my bike when coming to school, that would mean she has more than one power apart from mind control which allows her to rewrite small portions of reality, now that would explain alot but' then I remember that the name Inconnue 'I never mentioned that name out loud but it was in the letter that Lu read, I just made it on the spot in my mind, my mind… my… mind, wait, that would only mean that she can also read minds too, that means she has 3 psychi powers, but if she can read minds, that means…' I towards her only to find her looking back at me smiling "you've figure it out, Ikmute" she said without moving her lips 'what, her lips didn't move but I clearly heard her' I was frozen while looking at her 'she can speak directly into my head' sweat was dripping down my forehead as I came to realise what I was up against, at this point and place in time, I've never felt so scared to know the truth "Are… are… ar… are you a God?" I was never one to believe in things I couldn't comprehend but at this point in this very classroom, all the things I've seen and all I've come to believe with logic brought me to the very last conculsion, I said looking at her but she then smile 'I am many things Ikmute, but a God? I'm not even in the level to be called an angel' she said directly in my head but I was still starstrucked ' she is not a God? But her powers, how does it…' breathing was getting harder and I felt my chest tightening 'what… wrong, is this your doing?' i thought to myself knowing she can hear it 'no, your whole body is just adjusting to a higher level on this realm, get ready Ikky, your whole world as you know it is about to change' she said and then I blacked out for a moment only to be reawakened by a tap on my shoulder by Lu "hey daydreamer, class is over, aren't you gonna move it" I looked up at her and stood up fast, I observed my environment, I was pretty sure I was sweating buckets but my body was normal and dry, I spotted Inconnue leaving the class already and looked at Lu "are you alright, you look like you just saw a ghost, but it's just 10 in the morning" Lu said while patting me on my back "but don't forget your promise okay Ikky" she said with a smile on her face "oh right, the letter" I replied her while packing my books back into my back "what letter?" she said with a confused face, I looked at her with a confused face too 'she must have rewrite her memory again' I thought to myself "I'm talking about our deal yesterday, you didn't finish the tournament so you own me a free treat of Ice cream sundays, and also, what letter?" "ohhh the ice cream, I kinda forgot, well which size do you want, I'll order it later" I said hoping to make her forget about the letter and she took the bait "well, it's not everyday I win a bet against you so I'll milk you for all you're worth and take the most expensive item on the menu" she said and let out an evil laugh "hey, at least be humble and pity my wallet, I'm not even that rich" "well then, next time you'll consider that before losing to me in a bet" "still, pick a cheaper meal, I'm not a walking ATM". As soon as I got out of the class, I search around for Inconnue and lucky as I was, I spotted her walking towards the fountain which was a long distance from me 'she must have used her powers again', I take it she wanted to leave campus " hey Lu, take notes for the next class okay, I got something I need to take care of quick" I said and quickly went over to where I parked my bike "but wait, the next class attendance is important, you can't miss it" Lu shouted and ran after me "and also wait up, where are you going?" "I just want to take care of something real quick" I got on my bike and zoomed off towards the fountain to meet up with her.
"Hold up!!" a voice was heard from a distance, I looked over to see Ikmute driving at high speed towards me, I stopped and waited for him, he then slowed down and stopped by my side "I finally caught up to you, please get on, we need to talk" Ikmute said to me but I couldn't help but notice the change in his tone this time after asking me if I was a God, it was like a slave talking to his king, it was cute "awwwww, so you can be romantic a little, ya becoming a gentleman already" I said teasing him a little, "just please get on, and don't make it weirder than it already is" he said blushing like a little kid, I giggle a bit and got on his bike "but isn't this slow, I have a better way to get where we want to go, but faster" "you mean your car? But it's not here and I don't see it anywhere" I leaned forward, grabbed him by his chest with my two hands and whisper into his ear "I'm not talking about my car" the space around us began to wrap "what the hell is going onnnn!?" Ikmute screamed as we were being wrapped "don't let go of me okay" I said and then Ikmute proceeds to hold my hands tightly, and then everywhere was pitch black and we reappear in a building. I materialize on a chair and Ikmute too materialize on a chair opposite of me and then started crashing out "what!? WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!!?" he said while standing up from his chair and falling back to the ground "my legs!? I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS!?" I stood up and looked at him "your body is just experience teleportation for the first time so it's normal, just calm down and breathe slowly okay" with this Ikmute was able to calm down and tried to stand up with the support of the chair "where are we?" he was more cool and composed now "In my room" "what are we doing here?" "we are here so I can answer all your question" "are you going to kill me?" he said looking at me with fear in his eyes "why would I?" I said "cus I know alot about all this and I know your face" "but you don't know my name?, you don't even know how to reach me if you want to, so I don't think ya someone worth killing, for now" I could tell the last line sent a chill down him "are you God?" he asked this question again but this time he wasn't pale or sweating, he was more cool and calm with a serious look on his face "I told you before, I'm no god, now are you gonna start asking serious question or will you keep playing at it?" I said looking at him, he then looked down at the table after finally being able to feel his body again "what would have happened if I had let go of you that time during the warp?" "you prolly would have been disfigured or best case scenario, dead" I said this which made him look up at me with a pale face "what?" I burst out into laughter which made tear poured down my eyes from the expression on his face "I'm just kidding ya, nothing would have happen, you'll still be here regardless of weather we were holding hands or not" I said while wiping the tears away from my eyes "well we are kinda in rush so let's get down to business before we get interrupted" I said while sitting down on my chair and gesturing Ikmute to do the same "Now, down to business, Ikmute, what if I told you that there's a lot you don't know and can't even begin to comprehend about the world as you know it to be" I said with utmost seriousness on my face "what do you mean?" Ikmute asked "I mean, the world as you know it wasn't created by God and yes there is a God out there watching over, therefore answering your question that I am no God" I let out a breath and continued "But, if you want to know it all, join me and let's find out all about it" I said offering my hand for a handshake "so what do you say, do you want all the answers?" I looked at him and smiled and said in a low tone "Ikky".
