Classroom of the elite?
Year 1?
Volume 1?
A light novel?
Is this some kind of new advertisement strategy?
How the hell did they get my number anyway?
I will admit, it piqued my interest for a bit, from the title alone.
It's like they know that I am just getting admitted to the first year of my high school.
For a moment I was tempted to open the file too.
Then, a thought of this being a fraud link, some kind of net phishing, came over my mind.
What if my phone gets hacked?
There is not much information on my phone, but still, I hate being manipulated by others.
But, what if, this is a genuine file of a light novel?
I might miss out on a masterpiece of writing.
My hand was itching to click on it, as I realized how ironic human nature was.
We know something is wrong, still we would try it out anyway.
And, thus, I gave in to my instincts and clicked on the file, just to have a brief read, until the bus reaches at the school.
I haven't heard the name of such a light novel before, nor had I heard of such a strategy to promote their works.
It's definitely a unique trick, I must say, but I don't think it would work on most people.
Then again, I might be the odd one out, since I opened the file anyway.
And thus, I got to know what actually I am going to go through.

The bus stopped at a large gate of a larger campus situated in a nearby island of Tokyo.
The area was so large that it could be called a town itself.
And, in front of the gate, the board sign read, "ADVANCED NURTURING HIGH SCHOOL".
I have reached my destination, it seemed.
Yet, I was not able to grasp the view completely because I was still in shock.
Utterly surprised from what I read.
It was not that the novel was too good or bad.
If that were the case, I wouldn't have felt this much betrayed.
And, why would I feel betrayed from reading a novel, you may ask?
Well,.....
When you realize that your reality has already been predetermined and is being read by someone else, how would you feel?
When you are in trouble and thinking of ways to get out of a situation, when you are sad, or when you are happy, all of your life events are being read for the purpose of mere entertainment, wouldn't you feel betrayed too?
This was exactly my case right now.
The novel I read wasn't about some random school's random first year students.
I haven't read the complete volume yet, though I have read a few initial chapters.
This high school is the exact one being mentioned in that novel too.
The students of this school who were on the bus entered through the gate one by one.
That girl who was sitting beside me also entered, after giving me another one of her fake smiles.
There were a few things I had already cross checked with the reality which match with the novel, but to be completely sure, I have to recheck further.
One of those things is that little ruckus which took place inside that bus, with that old lady and that girl.
Moreover, that girl is actually similar to one of the characters I read there.
Well, ditch that 'similar' word, cause their names are also the same.
Kushida Kikyou.
Short brown hair, a little busty, and outwardly cheerful girl.
Each and every one of her actions were similar.
That arrogant boy, who refused to give up his seat for the old lady was also mentioned.
To be honest, I think I have seen the main character and the main female lead too.
If I remember correctly, their names were,
Ayanokouji Kiyotaka , and Horikita Suzune.
This was too much to handle, as I looked at the pink cherry blossoms flowing with the wind, and decided to leave things be as it is for now.
I can think about this later on.
But, things were not going to happen as I wished, howsoever.
As I was following the other students, one of the security guards caught me, and said,
"You are not allowed to take your phone inside."
