Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 – Return – Part 2.

"Welp, I guess this is it for today. I'm going to get an paycheck and then home, take care of her, black witch." – said Shuten before making her horns disappear and then walking away.

"…Welp, you heard her. Hey! You! Can you call that prevent researcher!" – said Ayako while pointing at the nearby man that appears to be guard.

"Call him to meet up at the medical room."

"Yes ma'am." – replied the guard before then walking away.

"…"

"So, nothing like cuffs for security or anything like that?" – asked nervous Akrema.

"Nah. There is no reason right now." – said Ayako.

"If you were some problem child when I would."

"But right now there is no problem and you know how to behave."

"Anyway, we are going first to do medical scan and see if anything is wrong with your body or not, considering what you went though."

"Anyway, fallow me and don't leave my side. And this isn't an request, it's an order."

"…I got it." – replied Akrema before then fallowing the woman, leaving the room where the twisted crack was and entering an corridor that wasn't anything like the one from facility she was in before, making it obvious that she was really in not same building as before.

"…"

(Why are the people starting at me like that? Is it rare for the…. Wait, why does it feels windy….) – though Akrema who then stopped.

"…"

'Say, do you have any clothes or anything? I'm pretty much almost naked." – said Akrema who only just remembered that her clothes were pretty much destroyed.

"…"

"Oh. Yea…. I knew I forgotten something about something." – said Ayako.

"Me being almost naked?" – said Akrema.

"Well…. You had the thing…. So, you know…" – said Ayako who was hinting at Akrema monster form.

"…"

"Just… Please get me something." – said Akrema.

Ayako took Akrema to the medical exam look that did not looked your average hospital as Akrema spotted several different futuristic looking machines.

"Here are your clothes. These are simple ones for medical procedures, but at least they will do covering your private parts." – said the female nurse as she put down two piece clothing.

"They are elastic and stuff, so even if they may seem small or something, they will expand easily and fit you."

"…Well, its better than this really." – said Akrema while looking at her destroyed clothes.

"-Y!"

"?" – the nurse and Akrema looked around after hearing something, only to see the sliding doors being opened before then Ayako with pissed off walked in with somebody she was dragging by their leg.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Stop dragging me by my ear!" – said the man with unsaved beard and brown hair who was also wearing lab coat as he was getting dragged against his will.

"Oh, shut the fuck up you! You were fucking watching anime again when I was looking for you! For crying out loud why are you- SLACKING OFF!" – shouted Ayako as she straight up threw the man across the room, causing him to roll in cartoonish way before then rolling into the wall, smacking into it and even causing it to bend and take damage from the impact.

"…"

"Em… I know it looked comedic and stuff… But did you killed him or something by any chance? It did kind of looked somewhat extremely painful…. And there a lot of blood on the ground and unless he can bend his body like that, wouldn't that be….. Well…. You know?" – asked Akrema with confused expression.

"Hm? Nah. Despise how he looks like; this guy can take solid beating." – said Ayako with annoyed expression.

"For fuck sake. If it wasn't for your abilities then I guess you would end up dead or something."

"Well, I'm -OW! Sorry for that?!" – said the man as he got up while checking his neck for injuries and also swiping the blood off his face.

"Anyway, why the hell did you dragged me away?"

"Check up on this girl." – said Ayako while pointing at the Akrema.

"?"

"Survivor? But you could had bringed any medical staff." – said annoyed man.

"For fuck sake. Can't you tell if I went out of my way to bring you here? She is an fucking Tale Bearer." – said annoyed Ayako.

"…."

"Oh…..Well, that explain things." – said the man as he looked at nervous Akrema.

"Hm…. I want an full story." – said the man while looking at Ayako.

"And you. Change your clothes and once you do, fallow that nurse." – said the man while staring at Akrema.

Akrema fallowed the man instruction and changed her clothes, before then being taken to the room that had different kind of futuristic looking technologies.

"Okay. You see that examine bed inside the giant capsule? Get in there and lie comfortable on your back and make sure you won't move too much." – said the man while doing something on the computer while also pointing at the giant capsule like device that also had very big and long examination bed inside of it.

"…"

Akrema nervously fallowed the instruction, entering the giant capsule and then laying down on the examination bed, before moments later the capsule entrance locked itself and the machine started operating.

"Okay. Few questions." – said the man.

"What kind of thing we are dealing with here?"

"Her body was destroyed by the Tale that almost killed her, but after I killed the Tale, she ended up having to inherited the Tale, causing her body to be restored and revive her." – said Ayako.

"Shuten saved this girl and all, but then there was an whole emergency where she was forced to be abandoned, with ended up forcing her to fight and then she somehow managed to fully transform into an bear human hybrid."

"However, her body never dealt with anything like that and ended up both possible damaging her and draining her stamina."

"She also complained about unbearable strains all over her body once she first transformed and more strains once she turned back to the human."

"She is an shapeshifter transformer type user."

"Huh. So, check if her insides are okay and if there are no other hidden problems, got it." – said the man while operating the machine that scanned Akrema.

"…"

"Say, do you still feel strains over your body?" – asked the man.

"Somewhat, but mostly when I try to do anything big or try to move too fast, then it start hurting like hell." – said Akrema.

"Hm…There is some damage inside of her body, but nothing too scary with an proper care." – said the man while looking at the computer.

"There doesn't seems to be any huge or permanent type of damage either."

"However, the body itself wasn't used to any form of transformations at all. You transformed your whole body?"

"Well, I don't know? I had bear hands, legs, bear ears and fangs, I even had an tail. Kind of like cosplay." – said Akrema.

"…Wait, did you said cosplay?" – asked the man with curios look while looking past his computer.

"You better focus on your fucking job right now." – said bloodthirst Ayako, forcing the man to quickly return back to his computer.

"Em…. So, did you feel anything like stronger? Like your whole body or something?" – asked the man.

"I don't know. The whole strain and exhaustion was killing me…. Still, I was able to wield some proper physical strength and stuff, but beside that I don't know. I also couldn't really look at it, since I was focused on survival and stuff." – said Akrema.

"Hm…. I will do more throughout scan then."

The man continue asking questions while scanning Akrema body, before then finally opening the capsule.

"Okay. Good news." – said the man as Akrema gotten up from the table and left it the capsule.

"You don't have anything like permanents damage or anything like that."

"As for the strains, they should fade over time as long as you don't take part of some big physical activities."

"Some of your insides were damage, but we have proper medications that will deal with it all, however again, don't do anything big when it comes to physical activities."

"And this goes without saying, but your body right now isn't in good state when it comes to the transformations, so don't do ANY transformations at all, until all pain you feel or any distortable feelings are gone. You understand that?"

"Yes." – said Akrema.

"Question. Does she needs to stay in here and come for the checkups?" – asked Ayako.

"Yeb. She will need to just in case. I don't see anything that stands out in here, but for the safer side she should come back here later on for maybe one or few more checks in order to see if there is absolutely nothing wrong with her body."

"Besides that, she should take medication and especially eat something since she is out of juice."

"…."

"Say. What will happened to me now?" – asked Akrema.

"…. Welp, I said before, we need to do some stuff with you." – said Ayako.

"For now, you will be moved to the residence area for the rescued victims where you will be staying."

"You will also be called and explained in more details regarding the whole situation, but for now your body has some time to rest up and I will make some annoying paper work as well as some other things.

"…. What about communication to the outside world?" – asked Akrema.

"Strict. No communication." – said Ayako.

"I mean. Are you going to post stuff on the social media about the whole different world or something?"

"Sorry, no contact, for your own safety."

"However, you will be given access to the TV and some game consol in order to relive stress or kill time."

"Anything like bathrooms, food or anything medical will be provided, just sit tight and don't cause any trouble."

"…"

"Okay." – said Akrema.

"Good." – said Ayako.

"Anyway, sorry since I won't be the one taking you to the shelter. Nurse, if you can, would you mind helping her get some proper clothing and then moving her to the shelter or having somebody do that?"

"Understand." – replied the nurse.

"Please this way miss." – said nurse before then taking Akrema out of the room, closing the door and leaving only the Ayako alongside the brown haired man.

"…"

"…"

"Okay. They are gone." – said Ayako.

"Now then, is there really no problem here?"

"Nope." – said the man.

"Her body is exhausted and is very strained, but she will recover."

"But anyway, you know you will get scolded, right? I know that rescuing lives are important and all, but using the Tale and fusing them with person, turning them into Tale Bearer against their will isn't well…. Good?"

"…"

"I know what you mean, but here is the thing." – said Ayako.

"I didn't do it."

"?"

"What do you mean?" – asked the man with serios expression.

"You heard me, I didn't forced her to become the Tale Bearer." – said Ayako.

"It was her."

"The Tale straight up bonded on its own with Akrema."

"By the look of things she had an natural compatibility with that kind of Tale and not only that, but an extremely big one at that, with allowed her to be fused like that."

"Honestly, I was even thinking that the Tale somewhat survived with the hole "being filled up with holes" thing I do, but no. Shuten confirmed for me that she wasn't Autos and that she became Tale Bearer."

"Maybe the Tale had some ability to deny death with sheer will and tried to fuse with Akrema, since they were both at the death door, but before it could fuse, it died, but not before making contact with Akrema, resulting in her absorbing the Tale because of her high compatibility."

"Honestly speaking, that fucking speaking, I was looking for that fucking swordman, only to get suddenly ambushed by the shattered amalgamation that completely wrecked shit up."

"Honestly it wasn't strong enough to pose any real challenge, but the problem was that the area was already fragile enough to the point the ground collapsed once that thing showed up… So, I wasn't really able to check her body since it had fallen down."

"Pretty much that thing only came to wreck something up before then dying, that's it."

"And once I did returned to take her body, I found her stuff like phone and walled alone, while the body itself was missing.

"…"

"You think something is abnormal, isn't it?" – asked the man while leaning back on his chair.

"Is it that obvious?" – asked the woman.

"Well, normally no, but those who know you like me can tell." – said the man.

"What's up?"

"…"

"She got catched by the crack and teleported in the area where the Tale with she had extremely high compatibility was located in…. Don't you find it odd?" – said the woman.

"!"

"Wait, are you saying that- "

"There is no evidence or anything, but we can possible assume that there is something going on, with is why the higher ups will definitely be quiet annoyed upon hearing this report." – said Ayako, cutting off the man mid question.

"There is an chance that this could had been just very rare coincidence…. But still, we need to investigate it a bit and see if it was really coincidence or not."

"And there is also an new question."

"What do we do with her now that she had become the Tale Bearer?"
