In the peaceful farming village of Riverleaf, fifteen-year-old Shion lives a quiet life with his family and his loyal Rockruff, Kiba. But everything changes when he meets a chubby, talking Bidoof who claims to be Arceus the lost god of Pokémon. As strange crimson-eyed Pokémon begin to appear across the kingdom and ancient balance starts to unravel, Shion is forced to confront a world far beyond his fields. With warlike beasts awakening and fate calling louder each day, Shion must choose: stay in the safety of home or become the one who restores what the gods cannot.
