Early in the morning all the staff members were meeting 30 minutes before seeing the students. Gathered here all 20 staff were looking as if they were waiting for someone to break the silence. Dean Calisto, as usual, was the one to begin talking first.
"Now, we first need to discuss the placements for the other top 9 spots." He began with the first of a few topics.
Riona, the Rune Instructor, she spoke up.
"Well, how about we all just pick one of the students to personally mentor. Since it is The Golden Age, I'm sure we could find something interesting."
Hearing this the other nodded and Luminos the librarian added.
"Yes, I agree, I don't think classes should be mandatory for those top 10 students. We should be preparing the for much bigger issues."
Dean Calisto nodded to all the inputs he was receiving then spoke again.
"Now that's settled, I have made the decision that we will inform the first years about the threat we are facing. I know normally we wait until they reach the second realm of power, but times are changing" he said grimly.
Nobody dared to input because they too noticed the unnatural shift. Although they didn't know the specifics, they knew they should be prepared for the future at all costs. Seeing no one add anything he turned to Liora the Vice Dean.
"Since you have decided to personally teach Akasha. Try your best to learn what you can from him..." He said as it was now time for them to meet the students.
"Now that we have covered most things you can go explain things to them. I have other things to check up on."
They all nodded then disappeared.
In the plaza all the first-year students were gathered. The plaza wasn't anything special because most of the special things were on the floating structures. As they were waiting the students were all doing their own thing.
Luke Solguard was currently seated cross-legged with his eyes closed. After falling short in the exams, he resolved himself to surpass Akasha and Elara.
Lucas and Raven Bloodmoon were both standing around amidst the crowd. While Lucas was focusing on what was to come, Raven, she was looking as if she was waiting for someone.
Noticing his sisters' odd behavior Lucas asked
"Raven, what's going on? Why are you acting as if you're waiting for someone." As he asked this, he remembered her weird behavior from the day before also.
'Seriously, since when she openly approaches people?' he thought silently.
"Well, I am brother. I'm waiting for my boyfri-" She unconsciously said before catching herself.
"YOUR WHAT?!" Lucas exclaimed but before he could question her any further Raven ran off because she finally found Akasha.
Walking into the plaza Akasha found a spot towards the back of the crowd. Just as he arrived, he saw Raven approaching him.
After making her way to him she stood in front of him with a slight smile. Then she gave him a small hug before standing alongside him.
"Well, hello Akasha~"
"Haha, what's up Raven. I wonder what kind of information they will tell us today." He said while laughing lightly.
"Hmm, I'm not too sure either. My parents never mentioned anything about this happening at the academy." She said as she was too curious about what would happen.
While they were chatting, another person appeared behind them. This person had fire red hair with pitch black eyes that had a white slit in them.
This was Elara Flameheart
"Well, it seems like you two are already familiar with each other." She spoke with a smile on her face.
Hearing the lovely voice behind him, Akasha turned around and noticed the beauty.
'My luck is truly divine! It seems as if I won't have to approach anyone at this rate.' He thought to himself before saying.
"Hmm? Hello Miss Elara and yes Raven here is my companion." He spoke while flashing a smile of his own. Hearing this Elara showed no reaction and kept her same smile. Internally though
'Fuck!!! Already?! This fucking vampire! Hmph, I don't care he will be my mate too!'
"Well, it's no problem for you to have two companions, right?"
Immediately after saying this Luna freaked the fuck out.
[WHAT THE FUCK?!!! AKASHA, YOU OWE!!! I SHOULD JUST REACTIVATE YOUR ROBE ENCHANTMENTS!] She was totally pissed. These women were literally throwing themselves at him!
"Haha, well we can talk about this later. Just come to my dorm after the day ends." He said while lightly laughing. Internally he was calming down Luna though.
'My sweet Luna, I will make up to you, I promise~'
[Hmph! You better!]
While the trio waited together the instructors finally appeared. They all floated slightly above the students. The one who stepped for was Liora.
"Welcome to The Academy of Kalpa. I am the Vice Dean Liora. As many of you already know The Academy is the place were all supreme geniuses have all been before. So, here don't expect things to be easy or lax because the training will be tense and grueling. There are a few things I will tell you before letting you go about your day." She said in a tone that assured she was beyond serious.
"First thing, currently most of you are in the Golden Core Realm, this is the first step into power. You all are now at the beginning of the 'First realm of power'. There are many ranks within each realm of power that only gets more challenging as you go. You all will be first year students until you reach the rank of Rebirth."
"Secondly, the top 10 students on the ranking will each be personally taught by an instructor. You guys will be able to choose or be chosen later on. Now the last and most important thing.
"This is the truth of why you guys are really here and why The Academy truly exist."
