When Echidna decided to leave with them, Takumi immediately stored her inside the Imaginary Space.
Joining her were Kaguya and Beatrice. With everything settled, only Takumi remained outside.
He glanced around the area. There was nothing valuable left here, so he didn't linger and decided to leave directly.
With that thought, Takumi returned. Before long, he was back in his own world.
At that moment, Lilia happened to be at home. Seeing Takumi return, she looked a bit surprised.
"You're back?"
Takumi smiled and nodded.
"It was quite a fruitful trip. I'll go settle those I brought back first. I'll return later."
After greeting Lilia, Takumi left the house. He needed to find a place to settle the Eternal Permafrost.
In the end, he went to the Arctic of his world. The Arctic here was mostly uninhabited except for some magical beasts, making it the perfect place.
As for Ram, Rem, and the others, he would send them directly to his home. It was the ideal arrangement.
With that in mind, Takumi began organizing things. He released the entire Eternal Permafrost from the Imaginary Space and seamlessly integrated it into the area.
When the sky came back into view, everyone realized—they had arrived.
Kaguya immediately located Takumi.
Takumi didn't keep them waiting. After settling the permafrost, he came to them.
"Alright. We've arrived."
Kaguya looked up, confused.
"Where are we? Did you place the permafrost in the South Pole?"
She blinked.
This kind of extreme climate only exists in a few places, right?
"North Pole," Takumi replied, rolling his eyes.
Even with a 50-50 choice, she still got it wrong. Embarrassing!
"Damn, that's far. Will that be alright?"
Kaguya was shocked upon hearing the location.
He dumped it in the North Pole? That's super far from Takumi's place. Considering how massive his world was, would he not visit it again?
"No one lives here anyway. It doesn't matter where it's placed. Later, I'll come back and study the forest slowly."
"Emilia, now take your family and come with me. You won't be living here, since it's freezing."
With those words, Takumi opened a spatial gate.
Emilia nodded. Of course she had no objections. After being frozen for so long, she certainly wouldn't let her family stay here.
She quickly gathered her kin and followed Takumi through the gate.
The Eternal Permafrost would remain where it was, to be dealt with later.
Takumi brought them to City of Hope.
Once there, he arranged housing for everyone. Since the elves preferred to live in forests, Takumi created a new home for them near his own residence.
He also had Mechanicus agents help them obtain IDs and registration.
As for Echidna, she was free to do whatever she liked.
Takumi restored her physical body and let her explore. She was curious about everything, and his world was full of things for her to play with.
As long as she didn't cause trouble, it would be fine. If she did, someone would handle her.
Ram and Rem followed Takumi home, while Emilia temporarily stayed with her family. The two sisters didn't want to intrude.
Beatrice, meanwhile, wandered around with Echidna. Who knows—maybe she'd be found in some library later.
Takumi brought Ram and Rem home and got them settled. Kaguya, face beaming with excitement, asked:
"We still have a random world travel charm. Should we use it now?"
This time they went to the Re:Zero world. What world would they visit next? Kaguya was excited.
"Rest first! We'll talk tomorrow."
Takumi firmly rejected the idea of immediately setting off again.
Let's take a break first.
They had just returned with guests. Running off again now would be ridiculous.
A few days of rest would allow Ram and Rem to get used to this world.
Seeing Takumi wasn't eager to leave again, Kaguya didn't argue.
"Alright then~"
With things settled, Kaguya went off to play games.
Since they were resting for a few days, she might as well relax.
After sending Kaguya off, Takumi started teaching Ram and Rem about this world. They were very attentive.
In a new world, there was a lot to learn—from language to technology.
But for things like language, Takumi could directly implant the knowledge into their memories.
So that wasn't a big issue.
The main thing was explaining the internet and machinery.
"That's about it. If there's anything you don't understand, just ask Prometheus."
Takumi gave them a quick rundown, telling them to ask Prometheus if they had questions.
"The lady in the terminal, right? Got it," Ram nodded, showing she understood.
"Yes. That's her. She knows everything in this world. Ask her anything you're curious about."
"The memory transfer just now—any problems? Understood everything?"
Takumi nodded in satisfaction.
Ram and Rem were quick learners. That saved him a lot of trouble.
"All good. We can already understand the square-shaped text of this world."
"Lord Takumi, leave the household to us from now on."
Ram spoke seriously.
Since they had come to this new place, they would treat it as home and take good care of it.
Takumi's home didn't have maids. Now that they were here, it was perfect.
He had previously suggested Agulora and the others act as maids, but they'd all gone off to school.
"Great! I'll leave it to you."
Takumi smiled, approving of Ram's offer.
While they chatted, the sound of footsteps approached.
"Where's Ram and Rem? Let me see!!"
Sagiri came running in from outside.
Takumi sighed helplessly upon hearing her voice.
That Kaguya must've spread the news already. Otherwise, Sagiri wouldn't have shown up so fast.
Ram and Rem also heard the voice. They were puzzled.
Why did it feel like everyone already knew who they were?
