Each bubble contained a cluster of infinite universes overlapping one another, and ??? had popped one. Countless lives wiped out with a single touch.
"Yet I feel nothing. No guilt. No remorse." He felt calm, even at peace. The anxiety and unease he'd felt upon arrival had vanished. "How boring."
That's right, he felt bored. For the internet addict, boredom is the greatest enemy of every keyboard warrior, even him. So, as a floating screen appeared before him, he couldn't help but smile, a strange and slightly unsettling smile.
