I knew now that I had a quirk—but I didn't know what it could do. My mind was racing with questions, but I knew they'd explain more once we got to wherever they were taking me. And I needed information, so I stayed quiet while we walked.
(At the Base)
The walk took about an hour. At our pace, it was probably around three or four miles from where I had met them—and where I had died.
The base looked like a bar… and it kind of was. Toga kept talking, very social, way too social for my liking—especially toward me. Shigaraki always seemed angry, and I didn't like that either.
So far, the only one I liked was Kurogiri. Maybe Dabi or Twice, but Dabi was kind of cold and Twice was to mentally unstable. Yeah... I liked Kurogiri. He seemed different.
I needed more information.
Kurogiri took me behind the bar and started cleaning. I helped him, and as we worked, he explained his quirk the Warp Gate Quirk. It allowed him to create portals to move people or objects around. He even showed me how to try using it.
I gave it a shot… and failed—knocking over a bottle of wine in the process. Kurogiri caught it using a portal before it hit the ground.
"Maybe you shouldn't try to use your portals inside," he said gently.
I nodded, a bit sad I had failed—but I got over it. It quickly became obvious that Kurogiri wasn't like the others. He was polite and kind, while the others were rude, aggressive, or straight-up mentally unstable.
One night, while walking me to my room, Kurogiri said quietly, "The heroes are going to come save you from the others and i will run away and give myself a better life maybe make my own pub."
I didn't understand. I tilted my head.
"They're villains," he added. "You'll see."
I grabbed my notepad and wrote:"You aren't a villain."
He chuckled softly. "You have no idea... but I've gotten better. So, here's what's going to happen: when the heroes come, I'm going to portal out—and you're going with them. Act like you were held hostage. Act like you don't know me."
I nodded."when will the Hero's come??" I wrote.
"Sometime tomorrow i don't know when tomorrow but tomorrow. Make sure the others don't find out about this though."
I nodded again, then climbed into bed.That night, I kept thinking:"Am I a villain now?"
(The Next Morning)
I woke up before the others. I headed downstairs and froze when I saw Kurogiri pinned to the wall Shigaraki was shouting in his face.
"Calm down," Kurogiri said.
Then Shigaraki saw me. He glared."Go back to your room."
I obeyed. A bit scared.
And then—BOOM!!
An explosion shook the base. A voice boomed through the rubble:"I AM HERE!"
The heroes had arrived.
They caught the others Kurogiri teleported away before anybody saw him, and got me out. I did exactly what Kurogiri told me, I wrote down everything. I said I had been held hostage. That someone strange, calling himself All For One, touched me and gave me a quirk.
A police officer interrogated me for a while. Eventually, he made a call. A man knocked on the door, and when the officer answered, I heard him say:
"Come in."
It was All Might.
He introduced himself, not recognizing me—probably because I looked so different now. After a long private talk with the police officer, All Might came back out and smiled.
"There's good news," he said.
I looked at him.
"You're going to U.A."
I lit up. That was everybody's dream. I was excited—but I had no idea what that really meant. Later, I learned that the police had explained my situation to U.A.—that All For One gave me a quirk, that I couldn't speak, and that I might still be a target.
So, they decided to keep me under supervision at all times.
I was admitted to U.A.—but not into Class 1-A. There wasn't room, and they didn't want to risk too much attention.So I was placed in Class 1-B.
And I was to happy to write anything down because my goal was now possible what my goal was I didn't know anymore but I could get stronger now something that wasn't a option before and now my future was I'm my control.
