THIS YOUNG MAN IS SPECIAL
The chief priest gazed at the king, the chiefs, and the young man with a mixture of curiosity and reverence. "This young man is special," he declared, his voice filled with conviction. "I cannot see through him, and I advise you all to listen to any instruction he gives you. I, too, will not offend him."
The chiefs exchanged skeptical glances, and one of them spoke up. "Chief priest, we respect you deeply in this village, and we summoned you here to clarify some matters. But instead, you're telling us to listen to this young man? He's been rude and uncultured from the start, barging into our meeting without proper procedure."
Chief Laye added, "And then he had the audacity to claim there's a traitor among us without showing any respect to the king. He didn't even reveal who the traitor is, leaving us to wonder if it could be anyone, including the king himself. Isn't that an insult, chief priest?"
The chief priest held up his hands, gesturing for silence. "Chiefs, please listen to me. I sense that this young man's realm is far higher than mine. I was about to bow down to him, but he stopped me, saying I'm an elderly man of nearly a hundred years and the oldest man in the village. He claimed he's not worthy to receive my bow, as it would tarnish my image."
The young man continued, "I'm honored to meet you, chief priest. You're a legendary figure in our village, and I'm humbled by your presence. I didn't reject your summons because I wanted to show my respect."
Chief Maye sneered, "Chief priest, you're being overly dramatic. How much did this young man pay you to act on his behalf? We called you here to expose him as a fake, but your behavior suggests you're in cahoots with him."
The chief priest's face turned stern, and he replied, "I assure you, chiefs, I am not being bribed or deceived. This young man's aura is unlike anything I've ever encountered. I urge you to keep an open mind and listen to what he has to say."
