Chapter 32 – An Invitation to the Sky

If time had wings, Dominic Vierra was ready to strap rockets to it.

He had never watched the clock this much in his entire corporate life—not during deals, not during boardroom negotiations, not even when the press waited to hear if Vierra Holdings had acquired its latest international partner.

But today?

Today, he was just a man in love—starved, needy, and so damn eager to have the woman he wanted in his arms, under his sheets, and wrapped around his world.

He sat at the head of the long conference table in the glass-walled executive room, nodding to every presentation, every chart—pretending to care.

But all his brain could scream was:

> "Tonight.... Kirah."

---

And Lord, her outfit today wasn't helping his self-control.

The black pencil skirt hugged her hips so tightly it made his teeth clench. Her silk blouse, soft pink and loose, tucked just slightly into her waistband, hinted at a softness he wanted to explore—again and again. She wasn't wearing heels today, but the subtle sway in her walk made his mind scream louder than her stilettos ever could.

Dominic cleared his throat and adjusted himself under the table.

"Down, buddy. Not yet. You'll have your time." you can guess who's speaking to...

---

Back in the workspace, promotions were buzzing through inboxes. Smiles, congratulatory whispers, and group chats filled with emojis and happy gifs. Vierra Holdings was known for rewarding hard work. Kirah, despite her excellence, hadn't expected anything—she was still new. Barely two months in.

She was sipping her tea when the notification pinged on her laptop.

From: Mr. Dominic Vierra

Subject: Tonight. Private Dinner.

Location: Vierra Penthouse, The Hillcrest Time. 8:00PM.

She blinked twice.

Then clicked.

Then covered her mouth and squealed—a soft, surprised squeal that only she could hear.

No formal corporate wording. Just:

"Wear something comfortable but stunning. I'll be waiting. Just us."

Her heart thundered.

Promotion? No, this was better.

This was personal. Intimate. Exclusive. This was an elevation of a different kind. Kirah's eyes sparkled with a thousand emotions she couldn't name.

She picked up her phone and texted:

"Okay. See you tonight".

*------*

Naya, of course, lost her mind.

"You're going to the penthouse? THE penthouse?! You've ARRIVED! Girl, let me come and turn you into a goddess, because this isn't just dinner. This is DESTINY!"

Kirah laughed through her nervousness. "Relax. It's not like he's proposing."

"Yet," Naya added with a mischievous wink. "Give him time. But you better look so fine tonight, he loses his breath. In fact, come now. I'm going to make you the bride without the wedding."

They laughed like sisters—free, happy, giddy.

But inside, Kirah was shaking.

She wanted this. She wanted him. But it felt like standing on the edge of something deeper than just lust. This night would mark something big. She could feel it in her bones.

---

Back at Vierra Holdings, Dominic had fled early.

Not because he was scared—but because he couldn't bear the thought of seeing her before she replied. He wanted to give her space to choose—to say yes, freely. And when he saw the notification on his phone—her simple "Okay"—his heart slammed like a wild drum.

"She's coming, goodness!"

He immediately called his concierge.

"Send the dresses, the ones in the reserved list. Add heels—two options. Have them delivered to her desk discreetly, in the next hour. I want her to have options."

---

Kirah, still overwhelmed, had gone to Dominic's office, only to find it empty. She stood for a moment, breathing in the scent of leather, musk, and his cologne. The space felt like him—powerful, polished, intense.

When she returned to her office, a large elegant box was waiting.

She opened it slowly.

Inside were two breathtaking dresses—one emerald green silk with a plunging back and delicate straps, the other a classy wine-red satin number with an open leg slit and subtle shimmer.

Beside them, two pairs of heels—sleek, sophisticated, and stunning.

She didn't even need a note to know who sent them.

"Such a gentleman," she whispered, her cheeks warming.

But she also whispered something else—something only her heart could hear.

"I'm....Gosh
