The room smelled like sweat, sex, and heat.
The sheets were ruined — soaked, tangled, streaked with evidence of their collision.
Rava lay sprawled across the bed, chest heaving, skin flushed and glowing faintly under the dim lights. Her tentacles lazily draped across the mattress and Lux's body, twitching every so often like the aftershocks still rippled through her bloodstream. The room was humid now, heavy, like the air itself couldn't cool down after what they'd done.
And Lux?
He was still wide awake. Of course.
Not even winded.
His breathing was steady, his chest rising and falling as though all that sinful feral energy had been nothing but casual cardio. The faint sheen of sweat on his skin only made him look more dangerous. More untouchable. But his red eyes were locked entirely on her, and that warm, faintly amused smirk tugged at his lips like he was enjoying watching her mind try to reboot.
Rava swallowed thickly.
She felt wrecked.
