Rava opened her mouth.
Nothing came out.
Her heart was still racing. Her fingers still clutched the bouquet like it might shield her from divine awkwardness. Her tentacles were twitching behind her, half-coiled in nervous spirals, half-hovering like they didn't know whether to wrap Lux in another accidental cuddle trap or bolt for the ocean.
The suite was quiet now—blessedly so—but it didn't feel peaceful.

Like the moment right before a storm touches water.
Static on skin. Salt on tongue. Breath held underwater.

He was just… standing there. Hands in his pockets, posture relaxed, a lazy smirk curling his lips like he was calm in the middle of the apocalypse he caused. His eyes glinted in the dim light, gold threading through the infernal black like molten temptation, like he knew every reaction she was about to have before she even breathed.
"So," he said softly, with that voice.
