Chapter 3 - He Called Me Leo

"Mmm...." A groan came out of me as I rolled. I felt a hand on my waist, caressing me gently.

"You can sleep more." A breath fanned over my ear, warmth lingering. His rich-deep voice again, making my eyes open and flinch--

'Blonk'

"Argh!" I screamed as my head hit the wall.

"Careful." He said firmly but gently as I looked at him while holding my head in pain. My mouth parted, he's looking at me like that again.

Staring intensely as his lashes fixated on me.

I gulped.

"Where's my phone..." I looked around, averting my gaze from him. This is not my house.

Clean white walls, organized furniture that are grayish to brown in color. It felt modern, but nevertheless--

It felt like home.

My eyes widen at the thought and shook my head. I kept shaking my head.

Maybe this is because of the hangover.

Then I felt a large hand over my forehead, making me pause. "You'll get a headache if you keep doing that—"

My fist swooped over his cheek in a thud, he dropped on the bed lying unconsciously. I scanned over his face.

Brows slightly curved up with mouth parting in a slight wince.

"Gosh all it takes was a single punch and you're out?" I huffed and stood up, heading to the table beside the bed. I reached out for my phone and quickly contacted Angela.

'This user is unavailable right now.'

I sighed and gripped my phone tighter. My fingers made its way to dial once again, making it ring.

But then a notification popped above the screen.

"Let's break up, Leo."

My brows furrowed and tapped immediately, typing a reply.

"Wait, why?"

"Who's that Liahree?" She replied in an instant, making my brows closer to each other.

Damn, she's difficult.

My fingers typed another reply—

"Are you cheating on me?"

I paused, looking at the screen. A chuckle came out of me as I stare at the absurdity of the conversation.

"She's not what you think she is." I sent.

"Then care to explain what the heck is this video?!" She replied and a video followed after.

I blinked twice and clicked.

A man sitting on a black bubble sofa beside a woman wearing a body-fitting dress. His arm was resting on her shoulder as they laughed.

Then he kissed her cheek.

"This was you with that Liahree, right?" She messaged again and I bit my lip.

"No, that was Margaret."

"IDC abt who the f is that woman but, you're still a cheater!"

I stared at her reply, sighing and scratcing my head.

Well I guess, serves me right.

My brows tilted up, noticing the bottom of the screen.

'This user is unavailable'

She blocked me.

My gaze lingered on the screen once more, slowly grasping myself into the reality that...

I eat break ups every morning.

"You hurt?"

"Gah!" I jumped and flinched away from the figure behind me. He's staring at me, slowly blinking and yawning. Then he massaged his cheek, a faint red mark tinted his skin.

"Oh. You're up." I said nonchalantly and he chuckled softly.

"I wasn't unconscious, dummy." His deep laugh rumbled across the room, making my ears ring. "I pretended to be knocked out so you're pride won't hurt."

He smirked and laughed more, holding his stomach while eyes got teary.

"Why'd you punch me earlier?" His brows furrowed up in genuine curiosity.

Gosh, he looks so innocent.

Just like before.

"Why am I here?" I asked and he shrugged. I scanned myself, letting out a relieved sigh.

I'm fully clothed.

"I took you here." His response made my eyes roll.

"Well, that's obvious. I meant, why did you take me here?" I watched his face and studied his reaction. "Is this your house?"

His hazel eyes, narrow-bridged nose and small lips never changed.

My eyes went down.

"Well, how can I not? You're so helpless last night being drunk and vomiting all over the place." He uttered and my eyes paused at his body.

"Why.....are you...." I looked at his face, giving him a disgusted look. He sighed and brushed his hair back. "Naked?" He finished my sentence.

"Don't worry, I didn't fuck you last night--"

"Argh! Why you!" I grabbed a pillow and hit his face. "Pervert! Don't be like this to a man!" He grabbed my wrists, making me stumble.

Suddenly, I was on top of him. A surge of heat was rising up my cheeks, making me push him away against the mattress.

He flinched. "Gosh, you've gotten real strong...." A smirk crept on his lips. "as a man, Liahree." My eyes widen, hitting him again.

"Stop!" He raised his voice.

"Why are you calling me with woman's name I don't even know!" I shouted and heard a loud laugh, making me pause from hitting.

Damn it, stop repeating that name!

"Don't know?" He laughed again, falling on the bed. "Then, what should I call you?" I felt his hand grip my wrist.

He pulled me closer in a swoosh.

"Leo?" His breath fanned over my lips, making me shiver.

I coughed, breaking the tension. "W-what's your name?" I asked and he laughed louder.

Argh I wanna strangle this guy's neck!

"Damn, Liahree. As if you don't know my name." I looked at him blankly and he propped an arm, holding his head. He gazed at me.

"I really don't know. And you must be mistaken." I continued. "I'm not Liahree."

He sighed, "Fine. If you wanna play this game." He leaned closer, reaching my ear.

"Alexander." His breath fanned over my ear, lingering with warmth and tension that brings me back in a melancholic haze.
