I went near Liying and asked her what is going on there. Liying looked worried and replied, "I don't know. I just saw Liyu and Han Rui fighting."
I went to Liyu and asked her what is going on here. "Tell me," I said firmly. Liyu's voice was shaking with anger as she replied, "Master, don't ask me. You should ask this idiot Han Rui."
Han Rui's face turned red with anger, and he was about to say something, but I quickly intervened. "Han Rui, tell me what's going on here," I asked, trying to stay calm. He scowled and replied, "Miss Liu, You should ask to your stupid friend ."
I threw up my hands in frustration. "Have you all gone crazy? Just tell me directly what's happening. I'm tired of asking around." Everyone fell silent, looking a bit scared after my outburst.
Liyu then said, her voice hesitant, "Master, please don't get angry. I'll tell you what happened." But Han Rui interrupted, his voice rising. "No, I'll tell you what happened, Miss Liu."
Liying then said, "Master, I'll get some tea for you all so we can talk calmly." We all looked at her, surprised that she would suggest tea at a time like this.
I calmly told them both to speak separately, but they started speaking together, and I told them to stop. Both of them wanted the chance to speak first.
I asked Liying, "How long have these two been fighting?" She replied, her voice soft, "About 1 hour." I was shocked. "What!!"
Actually, it all started when Liyu was doing some work, and Han Rui came. As soon as they saw each other, they started behaving strangely, but Han Rui was looking curious, while Liyu was ignoring him.
Han Rui asked, his voice laced with sarcasm, "You're ignoring me?" Liyu replied coldly, "Shut up and don't talk to me." Han Rui retorted, his face reddening, "I also don't want to talk to you. I came here to check and meet Mengxia Liu."
Liyu replied, her voice sharp, "What do you want to meet Master - Miss Liu for? But she didn't want to meet such a shameless person like you." Han Rui's face turned red with rage. "What are you calling me shameless? Do you have any proof that I'm shameless?"
Liyu's anger boiled over, and she blurted out, her voice shaking, "I have never seen a person as bad as you till today. You might have forgotten that you kissed me under the influence of alcohol, but I cannot forget." When she realized what she had said, she became silent and was also shocked.
He too became calm after hearing this and said hesitantly, "Is it true that... that I kissed you?" Liyu hesitated, "You idiot, don't you have manners? I... I don't want to talk to you."
Liyu is about to leave, then suddenly Han Rui caught her hand. Liyu's anger flared up, and she gave him a strong slap. Han Rui's face turned red with anger.
"This shop will have to face the punishment for your mistake," Han Rui said, his voice cold. "I will get this shop closed." Liyu's eyes widened. "You can't do it." Han Rui's smile was menacing. "Yes, I can."
He picked up the jewelry kept on the table and threw it below as if he had lost his mind. Liyu got shocked and mad; now they were arguing more fiercely than before. That's when I came and stopped them.
After hearing the whole thing, I said, "This is what happened." Liyu and Han Rui nodded. Han Rui asked me, "Who is at fault? Tell me, Miss Liu." But what would I answer? Both were right from their side.
I said, "Both of you are right and both of you are wrong, so stop fighting." Han Rui's face fell. "Your decision is wrong. I am leaving." Liyu stopped him and said, "You belong to a big family; don't you have manners? How can I go without asking Miss Liu?"
Han Rui got mad and said, "What! You're talking about manners? Huh? Oh, that's why you don't have manners because you're from a poor family." Liyu fell silent.
I said, "Stop it now, you two." I asked Liyu, "Why did you stop him?" She replied, tears welling up in her eyes, "Because he said he will make sure that our shop gets closed. I really didn't want to talk about his family, but you know the master, I'm a fool who speaks first and thinks later." She tried to hold back her tears.
Han Rui looked like he feeling bad about what he had said. I went to him and said, my voice raised, "If you really want to close my shop, I don't have any problem. But you don't have any right to talk about Liyu's background. You should leave now."
He left, and I went back to Liyu. I hugged her to make her feel comfortable and said, "Cry if you want to. I'm here with you."
While crying, she replied, "Master, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Liying came near us and said, "That's not your fault, Miss Liyu." She also hugged Liyu, trying to console her.
The three of us stood there for a moment, trying to calm down. I stroked Liyu's hair and said, "It's okay, Liyu. Everything will be fine." Liying nodded in agreement, and we all just stood there, trying to process what had just happened.
