A whole week, A WHOLE WEEK! Has been spent naming thousands of orcs. Kid orcs to elder orcs, tall orcs to small orcs. I named them here and there, I named them everywhere. I did name them everywhere you see, I even named them while on a tree. I felt trapped, like I was stuck in a box, I couldn't sneak away even though I looked somewhat like a fox. I even named them while in the rain, safe to say it was an absolute pain.
For the most part, the newly named high orcs had spread their residency throughout the whole forest of jura with only a small chunk of their numbers moving into our town including Geld or I guess technically Geld the 2nd. Development has been going somewhat smoothly, thanks to orc's assistance in manual labor, we made plenty of small holding structures and even started building some houses and stores. The houses for me and rimuru were the priority to be made first, while rimuru made his more on the smaller side, I requested to have mine a bit more bigger. With given the absolute miracle of being a home owner without working on or paying for any mortgages or taxes, of course I'll go for more than the bare minimum. I also didn't want my house to be cramped either since I'd like to add plenty of furniture and decorations later on, for now it's mostly empty and spacious.
Also soon after the war, everyone had gained occupations, Napolean was given the role of samurai general while Bejamin became his assistant. Cameilla has been labeled as the "Sacred Princess" although that doesn't really explain anything specifically but it seemed like she took up a manager/supervisor role in the kinda government we had established. Basically the same like in the original, especially when keeping rimuru in check. Lavandra despite claiming to be my bodyguard, gained the occupation of Cameilla's assistant, although I think it's more to keep eyes on Lavandra if anything. Everyone else seemed to have their original occupation, Shifu as military instructor, Geld as the head builder, Brock and Kaijin as the manufacturers of weaponry and armor. As for me, what occupation did I receive? Was it also some government job, to do paperwork and give approval alongside rimuru? NO! I was a 19 year who couldn't drive, how effective do you think someone like that would be in congress?
My occupation is...student. Yep, despite being a high school graduate, I have literally been pulled back to elementary school alongside kids, aka my middle school nightmare. The reason being is.... I can't read. Specifically since rimuru was Japanese and the kijin's culture was influenced by Japanese otherworlders a few generations ago, the established literature language was Japanese, which as a non Japanese, was hard to translate. I thought to just have Wise Sage translate it for me but I was given this response

Still kind stung that I was denied by my own skill. It would've looked weird if I was put into the adult classes for literature, so I was enrolled in classes within the newly built school alongside kids that looked closer to what my age resembles. I wonder if I can name any of the lizardmen, especially either Souka or Gabiru. I did already name their father Sabat since he and vegeta have the same English voice actor. To ensure I won't make the same mistake again, I decided to just tell rimuru through thought communication, especially since I just got back my skewer privileges.

I started by naming the three buddies of Gabiru. I don't remember hear what any of there names were, I guess it's just some light novel exclusive knowledge I guess. Let's see which one is first... let's go with the ninja then the small green one, then the tall one. I don't know what trio name these guys after. Hmmmm, they evolve into a trio of dragon newt... three dragons?... three headed dragons, wait I could give each of them a nickname each from the three heads of king ghidora
Kaijuno: You shall be Ni, you will be Kevin, and you will go by Ichi

I can feel the small envy from Gabiru. If I were to give a name alternative, I would've gone with Gabriel. The issue is that I'm not too fond of naming him the same name of what is an ultimate skill in this world so that's a no go. I don't want to go with the other name Gabil either, I might as well stick with Gabiru. Well, he'll evolve into dragon newt so something dragon related, I don't recall dragonborns being a species in this world soooooo how about Dovakin. The word is different enough to maybe not looking too copy and cut while pronunciation is relatively the same
Kaijuno: Instead of Gabiru, you shall hence forth go by Dovakin
Compared to the other lizardmen, Dovakin took in a lot more magicules, likely because he was a somewhat higher level being since he gained more strength from being named previously.

The newly named souka and most of the humanoid dragon newts were assigned under Leonardo while Dovakin and the non-humanoid dragon newts were assigned for herb production. After that, it's been relatively uneventful. More buildings have been constructed, making the place resemble more of a small town. Even the famous bath place is nearing completion along with the town's running water system.
On another note, it became apparent that both me and rimuru became the dressing dolls of both Cameilla and Lavandra. Fortunately at least, Rimuru took up the bulk of the feminine clothing since they were the one who looked like a girl. That said, the two still made me try on a few dresses out of curiosity on how I would look in it. Thankfully, they respected the rule that the mask stays on regardless. My major complaint is when they make me wear any of the fancy clothing, even in another world, suits are always so stiff and hard to breathe in, which sounds ironic from a creature who doesn't need air to survive.
Speaking of clothes, as it turns out, the events of slime diaries are canon to this timeline. How do I know this? Well it was one weekend when I was strolling in the market, all I could hear was chatter until I suddenly heard a strange scream
Rimuru: AAAAH! STOP PUTTING ME IN SUCH RIDICULOUS CLOTHING!
Cameilla: but you look so cute in them

Thankfully, I was hidden behind a group of hobgoblins so neither of the two noticed me. That's how my afternoon went, chilling in a market until I suddenly saw my sibling running around in a bunnysuit... So yeah! How has your Saturday been!? There's also been other examples like Gabiru's cringy gratitude rehearsal in veldora's cave, Leonardo adopting a small black kitty, and I even saw the goblina child amongst the children playing on the jungle geld.
Would this mean that the other spin offs are canon in this timeline too. Tenchura is crossed off by default, I'm not too familiar with the cooking staff to know if peko is amongst them, hopefully the workaholic one turns out to not be a thing, and it's definitely far too soon to see if this is clayman's third timeline. The two that are likely possible and aren't contradicting is the trinity spin off and the one starring a rabbit folk that was on hiatus. Characters that were exclusive to both stories did make cameo appearances in slime diaries, so the chances are high.
So that's basically the gist of it, everyone is doing quite alright, the town is progressing smoothly. But of course, we'll eventually reach the next checkpoint of the story. It was in the early afternoon, when I was walking back home from school, I received a thought communication from Leonardo

Leonardo:(There's a horde of pegasus. It seems that they'll land nearby the town)
Kaijuno:(alright on my way, make sure to notify the others)

I make way towards the outskirts of the town, finding rimuru and kaijin to already be where the pegasus knights will land at.
Kaijuno: The heck is going on!?
Rimuru: beats me
Kaijin: I know what this is
Rimuru: You do?
Kaijin: Yeah, I heard this from a retired general at a bar. Apparently the king has an army of pegasus riding soldiers. The name of this army is the pegasus knights, which seems to be who's here and likely the king is with them.
Kaijuno: Is this because you guys were put in jail?
Rimuru: We were already banished as punished so I doubt it
Kaijuno: maybe they changed their minds?
Soon after my arrival, some our subordinates has followed suite. The pegasus began to descend infront of us and when they were all on the ground, the first to get off of their pegasus was the king himself.
Kaijin: Greetings your majesty, I'm glad to see you in good health
Gazel: Hello Kaijin, I'm glad to see you're doing fine yourself, as well as you slime
Rimuru: While I am a slime, I prefer you refer me by my name rimuru
Kaijuno:(wait! Did they change clothes!?)

Now I'm being dragged into another fight that I would rather have rimuru take on themself like in the original. Rimuru pulled out their katana while I grabbed my duel blades from Stomach, in turn Gazel pulled out his own sword. Even with the two of us fight, Gazel completely overwhelmed us with his sword arts alone, neither of us couldn't find an opening to strike. So what could be done in a fight against the dwarf king? Well if one specific fact about Gazel is that he holds a mind reading skill, basically he can listen to our thoughts. What could be done with this knowledge? Well, the answer to that is to internally insult him while feigning ignorance
Kaijuno: (I thought this guy looked to be around middle age, but after getting a closer, he is closer to looking like someone's grandpa, especially with some of his grey hair)
Gazel:(...)
Kaijuno:(Did he really intended to bring his sword? Maybe he mistaken it for his walking stick?)

Kaijuno:(Seriously, that armor of his looks so tacky. A bunch of heavy metal all over, probably has to be designed this was to cover up his adult diaper)

Thanks to Humility, I was able to pull through the Haki while rimuru seemed to have forcibly resisted haki. The match had continued on until Gazel finally had enough and decided to end it in one final attack

Gazel: Here I come! Haze: Thunder of Heaven and Earth!
In an instant, Gazel had vanished. Our magic senses weren't able to pick up on where he was, then suddenly rimuru stepped back to evade the first half of the attack. I assumed they would be the one to only receive the attack. It was until Danger Instinct was urging the feeling that I was now a target. With very little time to respond, I crossed both my duel blades upward and braced myself to block his attack. With all my physical strength, I blocked his sword and kept it from reaching my head.
Gazel:... hahaha! To think that both of you were able to evade and block my attack
Treyni: that settles it, Rimuru-Sama and Kaijuno-Sama are the Victor's
Gazel: I've come to the conclusion that neither of you are evil beings
Rimuru:*sigh* no freaking duh
Gazel: But to think both of you were able guard against my Haze on the spot
Kaijuno: To be fair, you weren't the first to use that art of us

I forgot how ridiculously old some of the none godly characters are, I don't really recall how long of a lifespan any of the non-human races are. Once catching a breather, I took noticed that instead of one or two of his executives had followed but instead all four members of his round table came with him to investigate us. Was this something from the light novel that was removed in the anime?
After finally settling the previous set tension, we decided to continue our discussion at hot springs. While the actually hot springs are not yet ready to be used as they're still in the testing faze, we could still use the dining area to feast and drink in. It's been mainly casual chit chat from both sides until Gazel had made a proposal.
Gazel: Rimuru, Kaijuno
Rimuru/Kaijuno: Yeah?
Gazel: Do you wish to open up a diplomatic relationship with the nation of Dwargon?
Rimuru: Really? But are you sure you should make such an offer though?
Kaijuno: Shouldn't there be some sort of catch? After all, this is just a small town while you have a fortified established nation
Gazel: That is true, while my nation currently holds more resources, your town has resources that no other nations possess. To which it may rival or surpasses my nation in the future. I believe this relationship can benefit us both
Rimuru: hmmm, I guess we don't have a reason to refuse
Gazel: Splendid, now what will be the name of your nation
Rimuru: nation?
Gazel: Yes, this agreement will mean that Dwargon will acknowledge your settlement as an established nation

With our diplomatic talks settled, we continued on with the feast
Later on in the night, me and rimuru discussed on what will be the name of nation. It did end up being the Jura Tempest Federation since it is still a nation with different ruling territories within it. The issue is the name of our capital city
Rimuru: They'll probably ask for our city name as well, got any ideas?
Kaijuno: hmmm, our nation will likely be referred to as Tempest for short so it might be confusing to have our capital city hold the same name. So as easy as it sounds, it's probably not the best option.
Rimuru: Well then what then?
Kaijuno: Ya know, probably not the best way to name it, but how about we combine our first names?
Rimuru: Hold on, I think that's a bit too embarrassing
Kaijuno: As showboaty as it is, our subordinates would probably come to the same conclusion anyways, so might as well do it on our own accord, unless if you want to see them start fighting over Kaijuno city or Rimuru city
Rimuru:... alright fine, I'll go with it... I guess if we're combining our names, how about Rijuno City
Kaijuno:hmmm, yeah that'll work
With our names finally set, we established our diplomatic relationship with Dwargon in writing by the next morning. With all things settled, Gazel and his pegasus knights went back to Dwargon. After a short while, Gazel arrived again to drop off Vesta, foamed mouth and all. Since then he has been working with Dovakin in Herb production and in scientific research. Hopefully there'll be a breather period from this to next section of the story, knowing what's next to come

Some time after the orc disaster's defeat, four figures were watching over recorded footage
Kaijuno:From the bottom of my heart, if you keep giving me a reason to, I won't hesitate to show the whole world that a demon lord can bleed
This recording had looped continuously until someone decided to speak up
Milim: Wahahaha! I didn't think we could've find such an interesting person from this-noda
Frey: (was that really a lycanthrope? All that way within the Forest of Jura. Seems unlikely, since Carrion didn't seem to be in on it or admit to sending someone. So is it not a lycanthrope then?... Could this be some sort of rare Tengu? is this a sign that they're plotting a revenge plan against me? Worst case, this being could be a mutated tengu that holds the power of magical beasts, maybe even more than simple webbing attacks. This definitely sets back my conquest of Sarion, especially if it's a mysterious enemy that can already rival an orc lord at such a young age)
Carrion:hmmm
Frey: You seem quite interested
Carrion: of course! Those massive direwolves would already make a great edition to my forces. But If this child already has the potential to be at a stalemate with an orc lord at such a young age, then maybe after a century or two of training, I could make them a fourth member of my beastketeers
Frey: of course you would say that
Milim: You've been awfully quiet Clayman, what's your thoughts?
Clayman:... Well I'm at a lost for words. With how things were going, I assume this whole operation would've been an overwhelming success. I wouldn't have predicted there would still be such a force within the forest with Veldora's disappearance
Carrion: I wouldn't say it was all for naught. Afterall we didn't see the conclusion of the fight so there is a chance the orc lord survived. And even then, we were able discover such an interesting being. I'm sure we can make do with the cards we're given either way
Clayman: I suppose you're right then
Frey: If that's all for now, then I shall take my leave
Milim: Same here, I want to check out who won the battle-noda

Carrion: wait wait hold. You shouldn't just go over to the Forest of Jura. Afterall, the entire demon lord council made a pact to avoid it since it's Veldora's territory
Milim: cmon, how else are we gonna see who won. And besides with Veldora's disappearance, technically the pact can be void with the lost of its purpose
Clayman: I suppose you're not wrong. Still, let's at least sign an agreement in case the other demon lords get wind of this
Frey: If we really can't stop milim from going, I suppose this is the best we can do
Soon after the verbal agreement was made, Clayman formed the paper contract and one by one, each of the demon lords signed the contract in consent to Milim's visit to the forest of jura
Carrion: still I think you should wait for some time before heading over there
Clayman: Agreed, it would be reckless to immediately go over there right after the stunt we pulled
Milim:hmph, but I can't wait so long though, not if there's a new strong person to fight against-noda
Frey: Milim, you're smart enough to know this is the best action to take
Milim: mmmm, alright I'll wait. But Clayman, you better make more of those scones for the next I visit
Clayman: Sure, Sure, just please don't screw things up when you visit the forest Milim

Finishing with that statement, milim flew back to her territory. Soon after Frey and Carrion did the same, finally leaving clayman to himself
Clayman:...DAMN IT! Who the hell does that brat think he is! I didn't set up the creation of a new demon lord just to have my plans foiled by a mere child! Just because he had the orc lord at a stalemate, he thinks he has any hope against a real demon lord. Against ME, Clayman, THE CRAZY PIERROT! DON'T YOU DARE LOOK DOWN ON ME, BRAT!...
Wait a second. This feeling doesn't seem to be clear, but it's as if I've been through this before. Have I? I shouldn't really feel such a strange sense of nostalgia and yet this scenario... maybe it just reminds me of that one dream I had long ago, being defeated by a mere slime... what did they look like again... hmmm, hmph would've been a scare if it was the same person from that dream, hell that person had sliver blue hair while this individual holds black hair. It seems there's absolutely nothing to worry about.
Hehe, well child if you were unfortunate enough to survive your battle against the orc lord, then I'll give you the privilege to see how overwhelming powerful a real demon lord can be. As punishment for ruining my plan and for daring to look down on me

After giving a generous amount of time if waiting, I finally decided to head over to the Forest of Jura to meet the one who defeated the orc lord. Thanks to my amazing milim eye skill, I was able to locate the one I saw in the recording. It seemed that they built a settlement consist of multiple monster and demihuman races. Such an abnormal accomplishment makes me want to meet then even more. What's even more surprising was the form that I found them in
Instead of the lycanthrope I saw in the recording, it was instead an ink black slime. Well I was getting close, so I'll get my answers either way and if this being might prove to be someone dangerous in the future, I might have to kill it for said measure. But as I was getting near, it started to roll at such a high speed. Impressive, but it's not gonna be enough to out speed the Great Milim Nava

SERIOUSLY!? NOW ALL OF SUDDEN!? I thought there would some time after Vesta joins Tempest but apparently the destroyer didn't had the patience to give us a breather

Thank goodness, rimuru still ran into zegion and apito, with how absolutely random their counter sounded, it was nothing short of a miracle that rimuru was still able to meet them. Especially for Milim's developed honey addiction

We had a stage set up in the middle of town, announcing Milim's precense and temporary residency. She also declared rimuru as her bestie, guess that sweet honey can really move someone. And I guess there'll be a lot more moving since all our doors will not appreciate the reckless hands of milim. But since rimuru is her bestie and the only one of us to hold a government position, hopefully all that won't be my problem.
Kinda envious Rimuru has their own bestie but I can't really say I want to associate myself with milim though given how she's always in a sugar rush. It's not like I was really all that good with making friends in my previous life to begin with, although a world destroying dragon loli does sound more trustworthy as a friend than . . . any of the humans I encountered before reincarnating. Hopefully I could find someone to refer to as my best buddy but for now, that's not looking to be the case
