End of school hours~
Light pov:
I put all my things in the bag and was ready to leave. Suddenly Yoshimura called me out.
"Yagami san...um can I ask where you live?" She asked a bit nervous.
"Oh i live in Nishi harami, block 26" i answered.
"Seems like we won't be going the same way cause my house is at horoka" [no such place exist in the series]
"Yeah any–" as I was about say that I was going to leave a girl and a boy who sits next to each other the boy who i saw this morning came to me cutting me off. She and him are one of the some people who didn't came to me during lunch.
"Hey, Yagami kun" she said.
Not this again. "Hello and you two are?"
"Name's saionji, sekai saionji" she introduced. And then she nudge the boy next to her.
"My name's makoto itou nice to meet you" he introduced.
"Well nice to meet you too saionji and itou" i said.
"So, what do you need?" I asked as I put on my bag.
"Oh nothing really, we just wanted to introduce ourselves because we couldn't during lunch" saionji replied with a smile.
"Anyways I was just about to leave." I said.
"Where do you live though?" The boy named makoto asked.
"In Nishi harami block 26" i answered.
"You are also from there? Block 26 is only like 300m from where I live." He said suprised.
"We should totally come to school together tommorow" he says with enthusiastically.
This guy might be dunderhead."yeah, maybe we should"
"See, sekai told you I can befriend him" he says.
Already on first name basis with a girl seems like they're more closer than they look.
"Yeah, yeah I get it i was wrong and you were right" saionji says rolling her eyes.
"Hey, Yagami san we should walk together you know" itou asked.
This guy might become a headache to deal with. "Sure, Why not?" I say as start walking.
Time skip at home~
"I'm home" i say as I put off my shoes."welcome back, light. So, how was day did you make any friends" mom asked as she greets me.
"It was fine many of my classmates asked me lots of questions and I did made some friends" i answered as I went to my room not telling her how much of a tiresome it was.
"Look at you, already making friends and adjusting pretty well" mom says as she looks at me walking up the stairs.
There's still time before dinner so I'll just for now.
Next day~
As I was walking to the station I saw itou on the way. "Good morning" i greeted.
"Oh good morning to you too yagami" he greeted back.
From the talks we had yesterday I found that this guy is nothing but a horny normal teenager. Nothing of value from can be gain from the conversation we had yesterday.
Not wanting to sit today i decided to stand in the train .
Not long after a girl from yesterday came in. It was kotonoha katsura she bumped into a yesterday.
"Good morning" i greeted with small smile.
She seeing me greeted back with a smile "good morning to you too yagami san".
Seeing makoto asked in a low tone "you already know her?"
Seems like he kinda bit worried that I might make a move on her which I have no intention nor interest in doing so.
"Yeah, we met when I was going to the cafeteria yesterday and she bumped into me" i replied with a normal expression on my face.
"Do you also think she's pretty?" He ask with a bit worried face.
"If you're thinking that I'll make some move on her then your wrong. Yeah she's pretty and all but for now I'm not that interested in dating" as I said this his face lights up.
"Do you think I might've a chance?" He asked.
"Well you'll never know if you don't try. And even if she rejects you there's still many pretty girls in the school. From what I've seen i can see saionji very much likely likes you" i replied.
"Don't be ridiculous sekai and I are only friends" he says with a bit slightly annoyed face.
He's more dense than he looks. "Well why are you on 1st name basis then?" I asked.
"Cause she told me to and she's helping me also" he answered.
"Helping you for what exactly? Let me guess, she helping you get together with katsura. For what exactly is she doing this and how does it benefits her do you even know?" I asked.
For a moment he stunned. He hasn't actually thought about it. Then answered "I...don't know" looking down at the floor now in deep thought.
Feeling bored of this conversation i stopped talking.
I could've given him many instances of her being interested but decided not to. Not because I wanted him to figure it out no because this is none of my concerned.
I don't care if they get together or anything. Not interested nor want to be. Also it doesn't benefit me in any way whatsoever.
Time skip school~
People as always was looking and talking about me like I was some sort of celebrity.
As I was walking to my classroom. Katsura before entering her classroom wave at me. Some people who saw this were suprised. They might be thinking we're close or something which in fact isn't true.
The likelihood of her having crush on me is high from the fact that she was sneaking glances at me with her eyes and slightly tinted red cheeks on the train. Itou obviously didn't notice that cause he was thinking about saionji.
Taking our 1st day encounter like some kind of sign from the romance series she might've watched or read, katsura is just being delusional.
When I entered the classroom i saw saionji and other in front of me. I then greeted "good morning".
"Oh, yagami san and makoto kun good morning" sekai greeted back.
"Sekai" itou said slowly in a low voice.
Leaving itou and sekai to themselves I then went to my seat Where yoshimura greeted me. Just another normal day.
Time skip start of class~
Makoto pov:
While the teacher was explaining I was looking at sekai. Does she really like me?
No, it can't be. If she really did like me why would she help me get to together with katsura but still what yagami said makes sense.
Arghhhhh. it's such a bothersome. Should I ask her directly?
As i was staring at her, she wrote something on her note and then slip it to me.
"(You've been staring at me for a while)"
Realising what I was doing i reacted awkwardly and face the board.
I then wrote "(sorry, I was a bit lost in my thought)"
"(Anyways, I made some inquiries about your charm girl)" she wrote.
"(Her hobby is reading)"
"(I know that)" I wrote back.
"(Everyday she eats lunch in the cafeteria. She likes to chicken ramen sometimes spaghetti)" Sekai wrote detailing what she eats during lunch.
"(So, she's a noodle person)" I wrote.
Then suddenly she wrote something off topic "(her breast are huge)"
I wrote back bit annoyed "(i know that!)"
She then in a low voice called me a pervert. Slightly irritating me
"(I'll make an important announcement here)" she wrote.
"(What is it?)"
"(Today i told katsura to come eat lunch together with us. Let's get A-L-O-N-G)" She wrote telling me about today's event.
I suprised stood up from my seat. "Is there something the matter" the teacher asked.
"Ah, nothing nothing" i replied waving no with both hands then sat down.
No one's pov:
Everyone looked at him for a moment including light then they changed their view back to the board.
The fact that he's going to have lunch with his crush made Makoto itou nervous and made him completely forgot about asking sekai why was she going all the trouble to do this?
Time skip lunch~
Sekai was forcefully taking Makoto to the rooftop for lunch with a specific person 'kotonoha katsura' who was his crush.
Makoto who wasn't ready was making excuses to avoid it like saying he got some physics report or something which sekai sees through.
Most of the girls who saw this were giggling to themselves thinking this was a couple's quarrel.
Sekai then said something which brought Makoto's attention to her. "Oh yeah, i heard about who katsura likes"
Then with a mischievous smile said "do you want to know in advance or not?"
Makoto looked at her clearly bothered about it.
"Katsura san said that she doesn't know for sure and it be might be yagami, which is a bit unsuprising cause yagami is a very kind, smart, handsome, hardworking and determined guy and is majority of girls crush." She said with a smile.
To think that his crush has a crush on his new friend It made Makoto feel a bit dejected.
"Hey, hey, don't lose hope she said might be so, you still have a chance" sekai said cheering him up.
Makoto thinking about the conversation he had with yagami, livened up and now was more hopeful.
