Chapter 19 - The Final Clash of the Dark Blade and the Divine Axe

The Final Clash of the Dark Blade and the Divine Axe

(Wrath of God vs. Dark Blade – Light vs. Darkness)

Black clouds gathered in the sky, and lightning cracked through the heavens. Blood ran across the shattered battlefield, a land broken by war.

The 9th Holy Knight of Light, Haans, drew forth the legendary weapon known as "Wrath of God", emanating blinding radiance from his body like a living beacon of divine justice.

Kraan, clutching his Dark Blade, summoned the aura of darkness into himself, his energy rippling outwards. The oppressive power he exuded silenced the troops of the Holy Temple—neither captains nor generals dared move under the weight of such opposing forces.

(The sky itself split where the two powers met!)

Haans roared:

— "You will kneel before the justice of Light! Die, filthy hound of Darkness!"

Raising Wrath of God high above his head with his right hand, he launched his assault.

Three Consecutive Thunder Strikes!

The First Strike!

· The axe cleaved through the air, summoning a bolt of lightning from above.

· Kraan leapt back, thrusting his Dark Blade forward to parry the descending strike. The clash veered right, crashing into the earth and shattering it—creating a deep, gaping chasm.

The Second Strike!

· Without hesitation, Haans raised his weapon again, swinging it like a divine thunderstorm.

· This time, Kraan did not dodge. He lifted his Dark Blade vertically to block.

· Clash! The edge of the blade and the axe met with a furious blast of wind and a spray of deadly sparks. Nearby debris burst into flame.

The Final Blow – The Last Attack!

· Haans gripped Wrath of God with both hands, swinging downward with all his strength.

· Kraan, holding his blade crosswise, channeled every ounce of dark energy he possessed.

(Final Severance of Darkness!)

· He twisted his sword violently, absorbing the divine blow while gathering all his inner darkness.

· Then...

· CRACK! As the Dark Scripture clashed with Wrath of God, it sounded as if the sky had shattered.

· Lightning clashed against dark aura, the battle between the two knights raged on.

Suddenly…

· Kraan raised his blade overhead to deflect the blow, spinning his entire body, then slid his sword down, switching it into his left hand, and drove it into Haans' chest!

(The Death of Haans – The Fall of Justice)

· Haans froze, eyes wide with fear as he looked down.

· The tip of the Dark Blade had pierced through his armor and heart, exiting clean through his back.

· Blood poured from his mouth as he muttered:

— "I... I am a knight of light... the light... will not abandon me..."

· But the light was not with him.

Kraan, in a cold and steady voice:

— "The light will not save you. It only follows the victorious. And you… have lost."

Kraan pulled out his blade. Haans dropped to his knees, his golden armor cracked, and the aura of light surrounding him dissolved into nothing.

HE WAS ONCE A HERO OF LIGHT. NOW, HE IS JUST A DEAD MAN.

In his final moments, Haans whispered to himself in confusion:

— "Was I right...? Oh God… take me home…"

(A man born in light, ended in darkness.)

Haans' body collapsed, motionless.

(Kraan's Victory – The Tale of the Dark Knight)

Kraan swung his sword once more, severing Haans' head from his body.

Silence fell upon the battlefield.

Every soldier, every fighter, knew the name now:

"Dark Knight Kraan" – the one who publicly vanquished the 9th Holy Knight.

Fear would soon cling to his name.

Later, in the silent aftermath...

Kraan stood alone where blood still flowed, holding Haans' severed head. The final battle had ended, and his greatest enemy lay dead. But even in victory, a question stirred within him.

His blade had cracked and crumbled—

The final strike had been unimaginably powerful.

Kraan, whispering to his sword:

— Thank you… my dear blade. Until now, you've guided me through everything.

The deeper he felt the moment, the more shaken he became. He once fought with no goal, no conviction—now, everything had changed.

Haans, the embodiment of divine light, had not truly challenged him. But confronting his own purpose, his own truth—that was the true battle.

Kraan:

— My existence… it was never of light. I was born of the dark, cursed with this aura I once wished to destroy… And yet, I chose this path.

But then—

A shift in the space around him. Movement. Sound.

Kraan sensed the approach of a being—one radiating light, yet cloaked in strength.

Before him stood a man in transparent, luminous armor.

He was Shadney, the warrior of the 8th Holy Knight.

Kraan could feel it—this man would bring him death in the form of pure light.

Sparks of divine power surged across Shadney's armor.
