Chapter 23 - A Titled Douluo Appears

Ao Tian suddenly became interested. He crooked his finger at Xiao Wu and said, "Come on, let me see what you've got."

"Oh, I've got plenty. Don't start crying when you lose!" Xiao Wu walked over with a playful grin, a glint of mischief in her eyes.

Ao Tian stood there motionless, allowing Xiao Wu to approach.

No matter what tricks she pulled, he wasn't afraid.

"I'm coming~" Xiao Wu winked at Ao Tian, dimples forming on her cheeks as she smiled and raised both hands, pushing toward his shoulders.

From Ao Tian's earlier battle with Tang San, Xiao Wu knew his strength and speed were both monstrous—far stronger than Tang San.

So, she realized that the only way to beat Ao Tian was to catch him off guard.

She pushed her hands toward his shoulders. If Ao Tian raised his arms to block, she could wrap her hands around his arms.

If he didn't block, she could grab onto his shoulders.

At the same time, she flicked her head, and her long scorpion braid curved through the air, aiming to coil around Ao Tian's neck, cutting off his escape route.

Still, Ao Tian didn't move, letting Xiao Wu's attacks land. The moment the braid touched his neck, he merely felt a tickle.

Xiao Wu's eyes lit up. Her hands gripped Ao Tian's shoulders as she leapt, pulling her legs up and forcefully kicking at his abdomen.

"Haha! Rabbit Kicks the Eagle—you lost!" she laughed proudly, her feet bursting with strength as they hit his stomach.

Ao Tian's upper body was pulled by her hands and braid, while his lower body was kicked. In Xiao Wu's mind, Ao Tian would be thrown and eat dirt.

But the moment her feet connected, her triumphant laugh stopped abruptly, and she froze in place.

It wasn't that she didn't want to move—she couldn't.

Her feet felt like they had kicked a mountain. It was immovable.

Her expression shifted, but she reacted quickly. She let go of his shoulders and kicked off with her legs, trying to push away.

Ao Tian still didn't budge, but her own body flew backward.

Her long braid still wrapped around Ao Tian's neck, and she now swung like a pendulum.

"Rabbit Kicks the Eagle!" Using her downward momentum, she kicked once again toward Ao Tian's stomach.

But all that came was a dull thud. Ao Tian remained completely still.

Xiao Wu used all her strength—her face even turned red—but it was useless. She couldn't move him an inch.

"Your massage strength is still too weak," Ao Tian chuckled as he reached for Xiao Wu's legs.

Xiao Wu yelped as Ao Tian caught the bends of her knees, causing her butt to slam into his body.

With her braid still around his neck and her legs caught, the position looked highly inappropriate.

She was a hundred-thousand-year soul beast, protected by her mother since birth, and had never been in such close contact with a male creature.

Now being held by Ao Tian, her face flushed with shame and rage.

"You pervert! Let me go!"

Ao Tian obediently let go, and Xiao Wu immediately fell on her butt, the impact making it burn.

Ignoring the pain, she leapt up, her legs aiming to wrap around Ao Tian's neck.

Her legs coiled successfully, and she leaned backward, hands pressing to the ground, forming an inverted stance.

She activated her Bow Waist technique—a force surged from her hands through her waist and into her legs, flinging Ao Tian forward.

This move had defeated Tang San earlier in the day.

But no matter how hard she tried, this "bow" couldn't shoot Ao Tian even a centimeter.

"Heh, got any other tricks?" Ao Tian asked.

Xiao Wu dismounted from his body with a wronged expression. "You're bullying me."

"How did I bully you? I didn't even move."

Xiao Wu stomped angrily. "I'm not talking to you anymore. You're a monster. No wonder Tang San couldn't beat you!"

"Can I see your spirit?" she asked curiously.

She really wanted to know what kind of martial spirit Ao Tian had to give him such insane physical power.

Though beast spirits couldn't possess the body until spirit rings were obtained, their traits still affected a person's physique.

She figured Ao Tian must have a powerful beast spirit to be this physically overwhelming.

She had arrived a bit late to the registrar's office and missed the moment Ao Tian released his spirit.

Ao Tian suddenly said, "I just realized I need to poop. Wait here. I'll show you when I get back."

Without waiting for a response, he turned and sprinted off the training field.

"Alright…" Xiao Wu hopped back onto a large boulder, lying down and gazing at the starry sky.

Just then, her ears twitched. She heard soft footsteps.

Turning her head, she saw a tall figure emerge from a nearby shadowy corner, cloaked entirely in black robes.

Her heart skipped. She sat up on instinct, staring warily at the approaching figure.

A sense of dread hit her out of nowhere, like something bad was about to happen.

Without hesitation, she leapt down from the rock and turned to run.

At that moment, a figure in white, as pristine as snow, walked toward her from the direction she was escaping.

Xiao Wu stopped, blocked, staring guardedly at this handsome, divine-looking young man in white.

She was stunned. This man's appearance and aura were very similar to Ao Tian.

"No need to panic. I'm Ao Tian's older brother. Leave the guy in black to me." A voice sounded directly in Xiao Wu's mind.

Strangely, she immediately trusted this white-robed youth, and her panic faded.

Ao Tian smiled as he passed Xiao Wu, walking toward the man hidden in black—Tang Hao.

"A Titled Douluo appearing in a tiny academy like Nuoding? How rare," Ao Tian commented.

Tang Hao stopped. His expression shifted slightly beneath his black cloak.

This youth looked no older than his twenties, yet he saw through his strength as a Titled Douluo?

Impossible.

He hadn't released a single shred of his aura. Only those with similar cultivation levels could detect him.

How did this young man discover him?

Xiao Wu heard Ao Tian's words and was completely shocked, trembling uncontrollably.

As a soul beast, the thing she feared—and hated—most was a Titled Douluo.

"Who are you?" a hoarse voice came from under the black cloak.

"Someone you can't afford to mess with," Ao Tian said with a smile.

His appearance was peerless, his presence ethereal, like a celestial being untouched by the mortal world.

As his voice fell, a terrifying pressure descended on Tang Hao, suffocating him.

The aura didn't disperse and locked solely on Tang Hao.

Tang Hao's heart was shaken. He blurted out, "How is this possible?!"
