[Order of the Fire Dragon]
- Specialty: Fire Magic / Pyromancy
- Focus: Mastery over flame-based spells, magical fire manipulation, and elemental combustion.
Ranks:
• Acolyte:
Novices learning the Higher Mysteries (core magical theories and principles). May be re-assigned to Blood Dragon Order depending on talent, interest, or guidance.
• Flame Apprentice: Begins specialized study of fire magic while continuing higher mystery theory. Capable of weak/small fire spells, including minor conjurations or enhancements.
• Fire Mage: Proficient casters and teachers of Acolytes/Apprentices. Can perform small and some medium-level magic.
• Flamecaller: High Mages and instructors. Proficient in medium-level magic, with rare individuals achieving high-level fire spells. Deeply knowledgeable in magical theory, ritual formation, and arcane symbolism.
• Grand Flamecaller: Leader of the Order. Reports directly to the head of House Draceryos (Balthagar). Master of ritual fire magic and elemental theory.
[Order of the Blood Dragon]
- Specialty: Blood Magic / Hemomancy
- Focus: Magic through life essence, blood rituals, binding, healing, and sacrifice.
Ranks:
• Acolyte: As above, may begin in either Order but reassigned based on aptitude. Learns the Higher Mysteries and basic magical ethics and flows.
• Blood Apprentice: Specializes in blood-based magic, studying the connection between life essence and magical potency. Performs weak spells such as blood sensing, minor bindings, and basic enhancements.
• Blood Mage: Guides and trains lower ranks, especially in practical magic and theory. Performs small and medium blood magic, including minor sacrificial rites and enchantments
• Bloodcaller: Advanced practitioners and mentors. Proficient in medium-level hemomancy, with rare cases mastering high-level rituals. Deep understanding of ritual blood seals, genetic magic, and ancestral bindings.
• Grand Bloodcaller: Supreme authority of the Order. Reports directly to the head of House Draceryos (Balthagar). Deep mastery of hemomantic rituals, magical genealogy, and soul-bound incantations. Oversees all major blood rituals.
[Order of Shadows]
- Specialty: Intelligence, Espionage, Infiltration, Psychological Warfare, and Shadow Magic
- Focus: Psychological operations, assassination, rumor warfare, and rare dark spellwork.
- Only higher-ranking members know or wield shadow magic. Most members use conventional spycraft, illusion, and physical techniques.
Ranks:
• Initiate: Trainees in espionage, disguise, infiltration, poisoncraft, and psychological tactics. Begin with rigorous mental and physical conditioning. Shadow magic is not taught at this stage.
• Whisperer: Elite informants, spies, and subterfuge experts. Graduated via an extremely difficult trial, mentally and physically taxing. Masters of rumor warfare and deep cover infiltration.
• Darkblade: Elite assassins and field agents. Most begin training in shadow magic, but not all can wield it. Mentor Whisperers and coordinate deep operations across Essos and beyond.
• Shadow Master: Senior operatives, each an expert in one or more specializations (e.g., fearcraft, shadow binding, stealth). Can perform shadow magic, oversee initiations, and guide Darkblades. Each Shadow Master is individually feared, often serving as legends among spies.
• Grand Shadowcaller: The supreme head of the Order of Shadows. Currently: The Dark Mistress (Lady Oresa) Likely one of the greatest living shadow mages in the world. Coordinates all espionage, assassination plots, and psychological operations under House Draceryos.
