Synopsis
Inspired by (an actual book) A Murder Most Unladylike series. It was raining... Murder happened. The victim was alive when we saw her on the P.E field. We asked a few questions. She didn't know who killed her, she didn't see. She was stabbed from the back. There was nobody. She saw blonde hair. There are many people with blond hair. Maya, my best friend, but she was with me.... Michelle Rosestreet. Ms. Anderson and more.... She made it alive at the hospital. But couldn't remember a thing, including us asking questions. That's good. Nobody would know we were solving who the murderer was. It was summer school and only a week has passed by when the murder happened. We had less than four months to solve this biggest and first ever case. Welcome to Emily Rosewood and Maya Summers' mystery.

Chapter 1 - Body Found

"I hate the rain." Complained Maya. "Why don't you stop insulting the rain?" I suggested, sarcastically. "No. You've got to admit. It's summer and it's raining about three times a day." She told me, stubbornly. "No, you've got to admit. The only reason you're saying this is because we can't have P.E class." I told her, rolling my eyes. "At least we have free period, right?" I asked her. "P.E is free period, Emi." She answered. I crossed my arms. "Let's read then. It's better than complaining." I suggested. "I'm not complaining!" She shouted. "But, okay. Let's read." She replied. Maya Summers. She is your ideal friend. Smart, sporty, and the ones who can get your grades up.. She's mature, too, just not when it comes to not being able to have P.E class and do sports. My name is Emily Rosewood. I am smart, smarter than her. Confident. But when it comes to making new friends, I'm not the most confident person you'd know. I am indeed smarter than her, to be honest, but Maya's a very smart person. I love reading so much. Murder Mysteries are my favourite. By the way, my friends call me Emi, including Maya.

"A book done! It has been hours! Why hasn't the rain stopped?" She complained again. "It's only been fifteen minutes." I told her. "But I finished a book." She told me. "That's because you took a 7-page book." I replied. "Whatever! I want to go out and play sports!" "Calm down, Maya. Despite the heavy rain, everyone at school can hear you complaining." I told her. "Urgh. Wait... The rain has... STOPPED?!" She seemed very excited. "Indeed. Maya...." I told her. "What is it, Em?" Oh yes, Em's a choice, too. "Can you see that big re/d spot under that.... Thing?" I asked. "Thing? Are you sure? Let's check, Emi. Come quickly!" She told me. "No, wait. Let me take a photo first. Okay.... Is that.... A dead body?" I asked. My phone fell from my hands. "Are you sure?" She came towards me. "100%" I replied. "It really is! Come!" I ran with her, but I was now running in front of her. We didn't care right now. The only thing we cared about was the person.... The dead person. "Hah....." We could hear the sound... The sound that the person was making. "KORIS?" I yelled. "H-help me..... Please..." She whispered.... Or told me quietly with all her strength. "Who... Who did this?" "Hospital.... Please..." "You're heavy for us, Kory. You're in Term 9. We're only in five." Maya told her. "I... Don't want to die young..." She told. "It's too late," I admitted. "Carrying you would take 5 minutes, Kory. It will be too late." I admitted. "Wh-what? I'm strong. Don't worry. The killer.... She did it just now.... She's going to come back to get my body and hide. Quickly!" She shouted with all her strength. We carried her and talked. "Who was the killer?" I asked. "Couldn't s-see. She killed me rom the back, I saw long hair... Right behind me before I was unconscious. She's tall. I'm 5'7. She's about 5 inches taller than me. It's girl's hair. So misters are out..." She told me. "If you were unconscious, how do you know it's only been a while and she's coming back?" I asked. "She told me, right before I was unconscious. 'I'll be right back... To put you in the trash, dead body'. Thinking I wouldn't make it this far. And... Dead bodies last a minute.... You know that. Somehow, a mi-mirac-cle has happened." She told me. "Oh, okay. Well....." "Run f-faster!" She ordered as we followed. "I'm almost losing my..... strength." She told us.
