Chapter 67 - Chapter 67: Do You See Yellow Hair Dyed on My Head?

Shao Yun stopped in his tracks, turned back to Glory, and asked, "What do you need help with?"

Glory clutched the dandelions a little tighter.

"Could you help me scatter these dandelions from the Anemo Archon statue in front of the Favonius Cathedral? I want the wind to carry their seeds far away."

Shao Yun, thinking he must have missed something, immediately pulled out the commission form and reviewed it carefully. It only mentioned collecting three dandelions—nothing else.

He looked back at Glory, a bit troubled. "Miss Glory, I don't see that written anywhere on the commission."

She clearly didn't expect him to decline, looking flustered and stumbling over her words.

"Ah… but last time, a kind girl helped me scatter the seeds…"

Her voice carried a tinge of disappointment and confusion, like she didn't understand why this time was different.

Hearing her mention the "kind girl," Shao Yun sighed inwardly. That soft-hearted blonde… must've been Lumine.

Is the hair on my head blonde?

Hard to say.

Though tempted to refuse, Shao Yun's curiosity got the better of him. He softened his tone and asked, "Why do you want to scatter the dandelion seeds?"

Glory paused, caught off guard by the question. Then, with a dreamy smile, she answered as if speaking from another world.

"I heard that if you whisper a wish to a dandelion seed and release it from a high place, the wind will carry your thoughts to the one you miss."

Shao Yun couldn't help but chuckle at the fairy-tale sentiment. He joked, "If that's the case, maybe just pray at the cathedral instead. Who knows—three days of praying and your loved one might appear."

Glory seemed genuinely moved by the suggestion. "Really? But the way to the cathedral is so far… and it's hard for me to get around..."

Then, excitedly, "Maybe I'll commission someone to take me to the Favonius Cathedral!"

Dear god, are all Mondstadters this easy to fool?

First, Noelle tiling the city wall, and now Glory praying at the cathedral. Truly a place full of… gems.

Seeing her so serious, Shao Yun panicked, worried his joke was taken literally. He quickly explained, "Miss Glory, I think you misunderstood me. I meant that sincerity matters most—you don't have to act it out physically, you understand?"

She frowned slightly, clearly confused. "Ah? I don't quite get what you mean..."

Shao Yun sighed. Too deep.

He tried again, more simply: "I mean, instead of spending money every day asking someone to scatter seeds, you could just pray quietly in your heart for that person to return."

That drunkard—uh, the Anemo Archon, Barbatos—surely he'll hear your inner prayer. Better than some dandelion seeds.

Glory seemed to understand now. She smiled. "It's just commission money. For me, it's like the cost of one meal. I don't move much, so skipping one's fine."

Shao Yun frowned. Starving yourself for this? Not worth it.

"Ah... then you should just go pray at the cathedral, even if it's inconvenient. At least it saves money."

Glory lowered her head and sighed. "But the one I miss is a knight of the expedition. He said he'd leave home to protect Mondstadt. He won't be back anytime soon..."

Shao Yun raised an eyebrow, puzzled. "Who is it you miss?"

She lifted her head and answered without hesitation.

"Godwin."

Shao Yun's eyes flickered with recognition. "Oh—him!"

Glory tilted her head, curious. "Yes, the one I love is Godwin."

Shao Yun waved it off with a smile. "Nothing, I just think it's a good name."

Then, glancing at her dandelions, he added, "Forget the Archon statue. If I really went up there, the Church would probably hang me on the city wall. But I could find a reasonably high spot."

Glory thought for a moment, then shook her head. "No, I'll wait. Last time, a girl helped me scatter them at the Archon statue. I'd like her to do it again."

Lumine again… we need to have a word.

Shao Yun chose to respect her wishes.

"Alright then, I'll drop this commission. You can keep the dandelions."

Glory was surprised. She quickly said, "No need! I'll just post another commission for someone to scatter them. You deserve your commission reward."

Her voice was firm, determined not to let him walk away unpaid.

Shao Yun was caught off guard by her frugality. "Wait, are you only going to eat one meal today?"

Glory nodded. "Of course. Don't worry about me. If I get hungry, I'll just drink more water."

Though her voice was calm, it carried an unshakable determination—her love meant more than a meal.

Shao Yun was speechless, and then moved.

"My god… that guy better be worth it."

Glory nodded confidently. "Of course he is. I love him very much."

Shao Yun was touched by her devotion. "Well then, I'll consider it a good deed. Keep your Mora."

There was generosity and respect in his voice, swayed by her persistence.

Still unsure, Glory hesitated. "But…"

His tone turned firm, even fatherly. "Eat your meals on time. A friend once told me—no matter how hard life gets, don't ever starve your stomach."

Glory could only relent. "You're a good person."

Gratitude and admiration rang clearly in her voice.

At that moment, a system prompt appeared:

[Reputation Value in Mondstadt is full. No additional Reputation Value can be gained.]

凸(艹皿艹)…

Shao Yun stared at the message, frustrated. If I'd known, I would've robbed someone in the wild first!

His internal rant turned into a final word of encouragement to Glory.

"Well, take care. I've got other things to do. I hope the person you love returns soon."

With that, he turned and walked off to find Mr. Goth.

Glory raised her hand in the direction of his retreating steps.

"Thank you for your blessing. I hope you find someone you love too!"

Hearing her parting words, Shao Yun smiled quietly and muttered,

"I think I already did… even without your blessing."
