The battle between Heisenberg and Thanos erupted in full force, far beyond the mere warm-up it had been before. This time, every punch landed with bone-crushing impact—a true clash of titans!
Both had abandoned all pretense of defense, opting instead for a brutal exchange of blows. Each sought to unleash a more devastating attack, aiming to knock the other out first and claim victory.
The battlefield stretched for ten kilometers in every direction, with screams and roars echoing in the ears of every combatant. Yet, no matter how deafening the chaos, nothing could drown out the thunderous clash of Heisenberg's and Thanos' fists.
Spider-Man stared in shock from afar, his mouth running a mile a minute.
"Who is that? Holy crap, I've never seen him before!
Is he an Avenger? A new recruit?
But I was just knocked out on Titan—how did someone this strong show up?
Wait, Mr. Stark, I'm still confused. I woke up on Titan, and now Doctor Strange says five years have passed, and we're in the fight?
What does that even—?!"
Before he could finish, Spider-Man was engulfed in Iron Man's embrace, the latter's face a mix of nostalgia and relief.
Meanwhile, Scarlet Witch watched from afar as Heisenberg's punch split Thanos' lip, drawing blood.
She let out a frustrated roar, slamming her hands into the air. Scarlet energy erupted, propelling her skyward!
She soared across the battlefield, heedless of danger, charging straight toward the brawling Thanos.
"THANOS!"
Her scream froze Thanos mid-motion. Scarlet energy enveloped him, tearing at his armor. What had been merely dented moments ago was now utterly shattered.
Seizing the moment, Heisenberg grabbed Thanos' wrist and hurled him away with brute force. Though stunned, Thanos used the momentum to break free of Wanda's assault.
Wanda glared at Heisenberg, who flashed her an innocent smile.
"That guy's mine!"
He darted toward Thanos, seizing him and barreling through at least fifteen Chitauri insect-ships. The massive vessels wailed as they crashed to the ground.
"Who the hell are you?!"
Wanda's teeth clenched as her arch-nemesis was snatched away. Heisenberg ignored her, too focused on the chaos. Falling insect-ships threatened to crush Avengers, forcing Wanda to divert her attention, lifting and hurling them away one by one.
Heisenberg and Thanos finally came to a halt in the heart of Wakanda's forces. Thanos lay pinned beneath Heisenberg's boot.
"You're finished!"
Heisenberg snarled, leaning down. His left hand seized Thanos' resisting arm, while his right fist hammered down—hard.
BOOM!
The ground trembled violently. Over eight hundred Wakandan warriors were knocked off their feet by the shockwave, while countless Outrider troops were sent flying.
THUD!
Another brutal punch. The earth sank fifty centimeters, sending unsteady Wakandans tumbling.
"Avoid that man and Thanos! Move!"
Black Panther's desperate command came too late.
Heisenberg's fists rained down on Thanos' face and chest. Nearby Outriders and Wakandans were caught in the shockwaves, sent soaring into the air. Just as they began to fall, another blast sent them flying anew.
For a moment, the battlefield resembled a chaotic rural dance club, bodies flailing wildly.
Pepper Potts swooped in, rescuing a few Wakandans before flying to Iron Man. With her auxiliary energy platform, she unleashed a laser barrage, clearing his foes. She landed, embracing her love.
"Darling, who is that? Some cosmic guardian like Carol?"
"Uh, Pepper, can we not discuss other men while you're hugging me?"
Iron Man wriggled free, his right arm and repulsor gauntlet dispatching incoming threats. Pepper mirrored his move, their backs pressed together as they fought side by side.
As Pepper's question hung in the air, Valkyrie couldn't contain her awe.
"Holy shit, that's badass!"
She brandished her sword, charging on her pegasus. Swooping past Heisenberg, she sliced through an incoming insect-ship's neural core.
"I see Tyr's shadow in you, warrior!" she shouted.
Heisenberg glanced up, intrigued.
"Then I'm stronger than him!"
But Thanos, lying prone, seized the moment. He grabbed Heisenberg's ankle, twisting and hurling him away. Heisenberg smashed through three insect-ships before vanishing into a fourth.
Valkyrie winced at the sight. Spider-Man, ever eager, shot a web at the ship, clinging to its hull.
"Hey, you okay? Looked like you got roughed up!"
"I'm fine!"
Heisenberg burst from the wreckage, landing beside Spider-Man. He ruffled the boy's hair, smearing alien blood.
"Ew, gross!" Spider-Man squirmed, but Heisenberg's grip was unyielding.
"Got roughed up? By him? He's not even close to hurting me."
"Whoa, that's so cool! Can I quote you? After this, I'll tell reporters in New York—"
"Kid, this is New York!"
Spider-Man froze, glancing around. The ruins matched his hometown.
"My New York…"
Before he could react, a rampaging giant ape slammed him to the ground.
Pepper spotted Peter's plight and rushed to help. But before she could reach him, a blinding red beam incinerated the ape, leaving a pool of blood.
Spider-Man scrambled up, stunned.
"Heat vision! Steel body! Holy crap, you're Superman!"
He danced, kicking Outriders and smashing rocks.
"I'm seeing Superman! God, our world's not normal—a comic book hero's saving us! Ha!"
His words sparked recognition. In the Marvel Universe, Superman was legendary—even if you'd never seen him, you knew his name. Even the oldest generations knew him. That was his true impact.
Countless eyes turned to Heisenberg, now unleashing heat vision across the battlefield.
"Whoa!" Pepper exclaimed.
"No wonder Tony hid his identity. Every woman loves Superman, huh?"
"Superman?
Why didn't you show up sooner?
Why after he died?!"
Unlike Pepper's excitement, Wanda's pain deepened. Before, she'd been powerless to save Vision. Now, someone capable had appeared—but why not earlier?
Her rage fueled her. Scarlet energy surged as she charged Heisenberg, intercepting Thanos mid-attack. Her chaos magic deflected his blade, which wailed under the strain.
"Stop!"
Heisenberg intercepted, snatching the blade.
"That's my trophy! Don't destroy it!"
He hurled the blade hundreds of kilometers away, ensuring Thanos couldn't reclaim it.
Relieved, Heisenberg turned to protect his enemy. Wanda could single-handedly kill Thanos, and he wasn't about to let her steal his kill.
Thanos, trapped in her energy, cried out.
"Sanctum II, fire for effect!"
High above, the Sanctum II's commander hesitated.
"My lord, our troops—"
"Fire!"
Instantly, over three thousand cannons locked onto the battlefield below.
