Yin quietly made her way to Master Mo's chamber. She bowed slightly and reported the strange occurrences she'd witnessed - how the mirror was still showing the disciples even after Bai Qi had left. Master Mo listened carefully,his expression unreadable.
" Go. I'll look into it," he instructed calmly.

In a quiet corner of a street far from the crowds, Bai Qi shifted back to her normal self. The playful disguise was gone,replaced by the determined demoness. She reached for her device and contacted Master Rou.
" Master Rou, I encountered the disciples. They don't realize who I am yet"
Master Rou's voice came through with enthusiasm. " Now's the perfect chance to attack, strike while the iron's hot"
Bai Qi chuckled softly." No, it'll spoil the fun if I rush. I need to rest first, plan carefully."
There was a brief pause. " Are you playing games with me ? Master Rou asked sharply.
" No game , Master. I'm working on my first strike. Rest is necessary."
Finally Master Rou sighed in reluctant acceptance and ended the connection.
Back in the town square, the heavenly sect disciples were still leisurely exploring in small groups, chatting and laughing. Feng Wu and Liu Yang stopped at a blacksmith shop watching the smith forge weapons with practiced skill.
" Liu Yang, when are you free to train with me again? I want to get stronger." Liu Yang smiled. " Any time you're ready , just come find me . No excuses." " Thanks," Feng Wu said, grinning.
Nearby, Mei Ling wandered into an accessory shop, fingers trailing over delicated hairpins. Jian Wei spotted her and his heart quickened. Summoning courage,he stepped forward.
" Mei Ling. I've been wanting to say this for a while...I like you,"
She looked up, surprised but smiling warmly,"I like you too,"
Jian Wei's eyes lit up,and he hugged her tightly. But hidden in the shadows,a figure watched with glowing eyes filled with jealousy and anger.
Thrilled,Jian Wei hurried over to Feng Wu. " Hey, I have news, but keep it a secret,"
Feng Wu's curiosity piqued," What is it ?"
" Mei Ling accepted me. We're together."
Feng Wu's smile widened," That's great ! Don't worry, your secret's safe ."
Just then , Liu Yang appeared, eyes twinkling. " What's going on? You look like you just hit the jackpot."
Jian Wei motioned for Feng Wu to follow him away. As they walked off, Liu Yang pouted," Hey, I wanna know too!".
Night deepened and the disciples gathered their things. It was time to return to the heavenly sect.
