Elena's POV
Sebastian was standing by the window when I walked in. He turned the moment he saw me.
"Elena?" His voice was sharp, laced with concern. "You look like you've seen a ghost."
I didn't speak. Just walked to the table and dropped the document.
His eyes flicked down to it, then back to me.
"I was followed," I said, voice low. "Someone tailed me the whole way here. Then vanished."
He moved closer, his jaw tight. "Did you see who it was?"
I shook my head. "No plates. No face. Just… gone."
He took a breath, then picked up the document. His eyes scanned the content quickly, expression shifting from focused to furious.
"What is this?" he asked, though I could tell he already knew.
"A man said he was my father's friend," I replied. "Said Dad told him to hand this to me if anything ever happened. It shows Derick has seventy percent of the company."
Sebastian muttered something under his breath, then ran a hand through his hair. "This is serious."
"I know."
