Chapter 84 - Chapter 84;STINKING CHAOS,TENDER MOMENTS

Chapter 84

I sat on my bed, phone cradled in my hand, but my attention was drawn to the bathroom.

Racy was ensconced within, and the sounds emanating, were nothing short of a symphony of chaos. I laughed so hard that my sides ached, tears pricking at the corners of my eyes.

The grunts, groans, and strained noises was like a crescendo, building in intensity with each passing moment. "Racy, are you trying to expel you entire internal organs?" I yelled, my voice trembling with mirth.

The sounds coming from the bathroom were nothing short of epic, I was torn between concern for the well-being of my toilet.

"Racy, good grief, what's happening in there?" I asked, still chuckling, my curiosity getting the better of me.

I grabbed an air freshener and began spraying it liberally around the room, the sweet scent momentarily masking the putrid smell that had taken over. "Oh my gosh, the smell is killing me!" I exclaimed, my nose wrinkling in distaste as I struggled to breathe through my mouth.

"It's like something died in here!"

The pungent aroma hung in the air like a palpable entity, making my eyes water. My room, once a sanctuary, now reeked like a barn where livestock was kept. I couldn't shake the feeling that something had indeed died in Racy's stomach and was slowly decomposing, releasing its poisonous fumes into the atmosphere.

"Did something decay in your stomach or what?" I asked almost yelling. The air freshener's fragrance was a feeble attempt to counteract the overwhelming stench, and I knew it wouldn't last.

The smell lingered, refusing to be vanquished, and I was left standing there, frozen in discomfort, unsure how to process the sheer potency of the odor that had taken over my room.

I stood there, face mask securely in place, as Racy emerged from the bathroom, looking relieved but also sheepish. She stood at the bedroom entrance for a moment, taking a deep breath before meeting my gaze.

"Racy, what is the meaning of this?" I asked, my voice muffled by the mask. Recy's eyes widened as she took in my masked face, and she let out a choked laugh.

"I'm so sorry," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I ate something after class, and...oh my God, it's been bothering me ever since."

I shot her a stern look, my eyes narrowing behind the mask. "If you're going to do this kind of thing, Racy, please make sure it's not in my room. I can barely breathe in here."

Racy burst out laughing, her eyes shining with amusement. "Sorry, Sarah," she said, still chuckling. "I promise to take my business elsewhere next time."

I donned my uniform and grasped my bag, steeling myself for the impending chemistry class that would conclude my academic day.

"I'm doomed to suffer through boredom," Racy lamented.

She rose from her lounging position, her smile hinting at her own liberation from the confines of the classroom. "Don't you have a class to attend?" I inquired, and she nodded, her smile broadening. "My last class concluded about an hour ago."

A pang of envy mingled with resignation as I gazed at her. "Fortunate you," I murmured, my voice tinged with wistfulness. "I still have to endure the chaos of chemistry." I slipped on my shoes and socks, shouldered my bag, and headed outside, Racy walking alongside me in tandem.

"I'll escort you to class," she offered, and I accepted her companionship with gratitude.

As Racy escorted me to class, she chattered nonstop, barely pausing for breath. I found myself zoning out, overwhelmed by her rapid-fire conversation. I went into "mute mode," simply listening without contributing to the conversation.

As we walked, we approached a particular spot on campus. Suddenly, someone grabbed my arm, pulling me unexpectedly. I felt a jolt of surprise and disorientation. Racy's voice cut through the confusion when she noticed I was gone, her tone laced with concern. "Sarah, Sarah, where are you? Sarah!"

*******

As the unseen force yanked me into the vacant classroom, I spun around, my eyes colliding with a familiar visage. My jaw slackened in astonishment as I beheld good looking figure attired in stylish, casual garb that highlighted his chiseled features.

The absence of his school uniform only seemed to accentuate his rugged charm, rendering him even more captivating. His deep, resonant voice sent a shiver coursing through my veins as he murmured, "I thought I should see you before I go."

"I'm heading to the hospital now to visit Na yeon, and I wanted to see you before I go," he said, his words sending a gentle warmth through my chest. I found myself nodding, almost mechanically, as if my body had developed a mind of its own. Why was I nodding, anyway? I didn't even know. But before I could ponder further, he looked at me expectantly, and I heard myself say, "Yes." The word slipped out of my mouth, and I listened to it echoing in my mind, wondering what had just possessed me to agree...to what exactly.

Hyun Min's arms enveloped me in a gentle yet firm embrace, his warmth seeping into my skin like a soothing balm. The sweet, subtle scent of his cologne wafted up, tantalizing my senses and sending my heart into a frantic flutter. "I'm still trying to process it all, but I feel an inexplicable pull towards you," he whispered, his breath caressing my ear and sending shivers down my spine.

My heart was racing, pounding in my chest with a rhythmic intensity that seemed to match the cadence of his words. I felt a maelstrom of emotions swirling within me - excitement, nervousness, and a deep-seated connection that I couldn't quite explain. His words resonated deep within me, sending a thrill coursing through my veins.

"I had to see you before I leave," he said, his low, husky voice weaving a spell of intimacy and vulnerability. As he pulled away from the hug, his piercing gaze locked onto mine, and I felt a jolt of electricity run through me like a spark of static. I gazed up at him, my heart still racing.
