Chapter 81
"Yes," she whispered. "I can prepare a variety of dishes," she had said, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "Bibimbap, Japchae, Bulgogi – you name it, I've probably tried making it."
"Then it is settled," I declared, my voice resonating with anticipation. "Let us forge a bond of friendship," I said, the words flowing from my lips like a serene river meandering through a lush landscape.
As I glanced over at Racy, I couldn't help but notice the radiant smile illuminating her face. She looked genuinely elated, and for a moment, I felt a spark of connection towards her. But my attention was short-lived, as I suddenly remembered I was running perilously late for class. I glanced down at my wristwatch, and my heart sank. "I'm terribly sorry, but I must dash," I said, feeling a surge of urgency coursing through my veins.
Before I could take another step, Racy's slender fingers wrapped around my arm. "Let's exchange numbers, shall we?" she suggested, her eyes gleaming with an infectious enthusiasm.
I quickly recited my phone number, my voice barely above a whisper. With that, I swiftly turned around and sprinted towards my class, leaving Racy standing alone with a smile still etched on her face like a work of art.

The dimly lit room was shrouded in an air of unease as Chu Chu sat on the bed, her injured leg cradled in her hands. The pain was manageable, but the worry etched on her face was palpable. Min Ji and Shantel stood in the corner, their eyes fixed on Chu Chu with a mix of concern and apprehension.
"I heard Na Yeon has regained consciousness," Chu Chu said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Her memories are hazy, but what if she remembers everything?"
Min Ji's eyes widened in alarm, her face pale. "We need to act fast. If she regains her memory... we're finished."
Shantel's voice dripped with accusation. "This was a reckless idea from the start. You should have thought it through."
Chu Chu's eyes flashed with anger, her gaze piercing. "What was I supposed to do, then? Just sit back and let her ruin everything?"
Min Ji stepped forward, her voice calm but urgent. "Enough. We can't afford to point fingers now. We need a plan, and we need it now."
"We need a drug to induce permanent memory loss," Chu Chu said, her gaze piercing Shantel with an unyielding intensity. "You're familiar with such substances, aren't you?"
Shantel's skepticism was palpable, her expression a mixture of incredulity and concern. "You can't be serious. That's your plan?"
Chu Chu's eyes never wavered, her determination unwavering. "Do you have a better proposal? I'm all ears."
Shantel hesitated, her voice laced with doubt. "Alright, let's assume we can procure such a substance. How do we plan to get to the hospital? We're in the dark about its location."
Min Ji's voice chimed in, her tone laced with frustration. "The teachers are doling out information like candy, not just us,other students too, trying to reassure us that Na Yeon is recovering. But we need to figure out how to get to the hospital without arousing suspicion."
Shantel's voice was laced with concern as she turned to chu chu and asked, "What if things don't go as planned? What if her parent comes here and makes a scene? What if everything is being traced back to us?"
"You're just being paranoid," chuchu said, her voice laced with a hint of mockery. "This isn't the time to be timid. We're not harming her; we just need to ensure she doesn't regain her memories."
Chu chu looked at them and said"just get the drugs and syringe, I will locate the hospital one way or the other..I will go alone..
"When are we getting the drugs and where?" Min ji asked
Then chu chu answered"the school clinic and now."I will distract the doctor."
"Do you know the drug?"minji asked shantel and she noded.
Chu Chu's eyes narrowed as she surveyed her friends. "Just get the drugs and the syringe..I'll find the hospital… one way or another. I'll go alone if I have to."
Minji raised an eyebrow, a hint of worry creeping into her expression. "When are we getting the drugs, and where?"
Chu Chu straightened her posture, determination radiating from her. "The school clinic. Right now. I can distract the doctor; trust me."
Minji's frown deepened as she turned to shantel"Do you even know what the drug looks like?"
Shantel, who had been standing quietly with her arms crossed, nodded. "I've seen it before. It's in a small brown bottle. I'll guide you through it."
Chu Chu nodded, her heart racing with anticipation and fear. "Alright. Let's move."

With that, they slipped into the shadowy corridors, adrenaline coursing through their veins. Each step felt monumental as they headed toward the clinic, where the boundaries of right and wrong blurred beneath the weight of their desperate intentions.
As they approached the clinic door, Chu Chu could see the flickering fluorescent lights casting an eerie glow in the otherwise sterile environment. "I'll create a diversion," she murmured, a plan already forming in her mind. "Just be ready."
Minji and Shantel nodded, their expressions a mix of fear and determination. This was it—the moment they would either prove themselves brave or be caught in a web of their own making.
Taking a deep breath, Chu Chu pushed the door open, stepping into the clinic's harsh brightness. She spotted the doctor seated at a desk, deep in paperwork, oblivious to their presence. "Excuse me!" she called out, forcing an upbeat tone as her heart pounded in her chest.
The doctor looked up, surprised. "Can I help you?"
"Yes!" Chu Chu rushed forward. "I think I'm feeling faint. I need some help!"
As the doctor stood, Minji and Shantel exchanged worried looks. Now was their chance. They slipped into the back room where the supplies were stored, hearts racing as they searched for the brown bottle.
Outside, Chu Chu maintained her act, engaging the doctor with exaggerated concern, buying precious moments for her friends to find what they needed.
"Just a little lightheaded, I swear it's nothing serious," she insisted, forcing a smile as her mind raced with thoughts of what lay ahead. She could already feel the pull of their dangerous plan, but there was no going back now.
"Please, just take a seat," the doctor said, motioning for her to sit down.
Taking a deep breath, Chu Chu knew it was time to keep the ruse going until it was too late for them to be discovered, risking everything for a chance at control over their uncertain futures.
