Scene 4 — The Turning Point
Nova (visibly nervous, voice trembling):
_"The person I saw… was a young woman. I had seen her once in the combat room with Caden. I think she held a grudge against my aunt.
That day, Caden arrived at my place before I did.
The neighbors told me he had been at my aunt's house for hours.
And… he was the one who noticed she wasn't coming out."_
Lawyer:
"I believe that settles it. We've found the real culprit."
A wave of murmurs spread through the courtroom.
Everyone was whispering, judging, criticizing.
Stranger 1 (mocking):
"I knew our national hero couldn't have done something like that. This girl just wanted to get famous and be in the news."
Others began to agree.
That's when Caden suddenly stood up.
Caden (angrily):
_"What Nova did is nothing compared to what I do every day for this country.
It could be any of you—any of us. Even a hero can make mistakes.
She lost her aunt, and instead of showing her compassion,
you all chose to tear her down."_
(Then, more quietly, almost to himself)
"That's human nature, isn't it?
To criticize.
To destroy the weak."
He looked back at the court and raised his voice again:
"As of today, I declare that Nova Black will become one of us—a Chosen One."
A stunned silence fell across the courtroom.
Then, a voice burst out:
Onlooker:
"What are you saying?! She has no powers!"
Caden (calm, fierce):
_"And yet, you all believed her when she accused me.
Even though I'm a hero, even though I have saved lives…
She didn't care about my title. She looked me in the eye and called me a murderer.
She may have been wrong, yes—but she had the courage to stand by what she believed.
If I had committed that crime…
Would you have turned a blind eye just because I'm a national hero?
She didn't.
And that's exactly why I'm choosing her.
If anyone dares lay a hand on her… they'll have to answer to me."_
The journalists had already captured everything.
And in mere hours…
the entire world would know the name of the girl chosen by Caden himself—Nova Black.
Scene 5 — The Alliance of Shadows
As soon as the trial ended, a strange girl grabbed Nova's hand.
Without a word, she pulled her away from the Supreme Court.
Caden followed silently behind them.
Outside, the crowd of journalists swarmed him, yelling question after question:
"Why her?"
"Does she have powers?"
"Are you breaking protocol, Caden?"
His bodyguards quickly stepped in, clearing a path through the chaos and ushering the three of them into separate cars.
🚗 Inside the Car...
Caden (calm but serious):
_"The plan is already in motion, Nova.
If you really want to find out who killed your aunt...
Then keep going.
These are just your first steps toward what's coming…
Whether it takes months—or years."_
The strange girl (smiling darkly):
_"My sister will arrive very soon.
And when she does... she'll release monsters into this city.
If we have someone like you on our side,
we just might survive what's coming.
I hope your thirst for vengeance is strong—
for your aunt, your uncle...
and for the fall of the system itself."_
(She looked out the window, her expression turning cold.)
"Me? I'm ready to burn this world's system to the ground with magic if I have to.
I never thought I'd work with people who have powers…
But if I'm going to destroy those who built this prison we call order—
then I'll do whatever it takes."
She turned her gaze to Nova—dark, determined, unshakable.
The scene ends with Nova's eyes, burning with resolve and rage.
Her silent expression said it all:
"I'm ready."
