Chapter 86 - Polaris Sets Course

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sorry for the late update.
I was busy because of the exam.
I will try to update regularly from now on.
"Which island are we going to?" After bidding farewell to their two giant friends, the Polaris moved away from Little Garden, and Neru turned to ask Rhodes. It takes a year for Little Garden's magnetic force to be fully charged, and Log Pose still points to Little Garden, with no direction to the next island. However, they had already considered possible situations and had several Eternal Poses on the Polaris that led to different islands.
Rhodes put down the huge weapons given by his two giant friends, walked to the rudder, and looked at the six Eternal Poses lined up by Neru.
Marineford! This Eternal Pose was stolen from Ghost Spider's warship. Pass! Rhodes would only run to Marineford if he were crazy. Dressrosa! This should be the Eternal Pose snatched from Speda Myers. This is useful, after all, they will fight with Doflamingo sooner or later. However, Dressrosa is in the second half of the Grand Line and cannot use this pointer yet. Yorke Island. This Eternal Pose was looted from Zephyr's warship. Its direction was unknown, and no one on the ship had ever heard of this island. Even the knowledgeable Robin and Neru, who had been deliberately collecting information about the Grand Line, had never heard of this place. Considering that this was an Eternal Pose collected from Zephyr's ship, it might be some secret base of the Navy, so it was also passed.
Then, there were only three pointers left. Rhodes looked at the last three Eternal Poses.
"The entertainment capital, Lavis!" Noticing Rhodes's gaze, Neru began to explain. "This is another Eternal Pose I grabbed when I was with Speda Myers. Lavis is a famous entertainment capital on the Grand Line. It has all the entertainment facilities you can imagine and is deeply loved by people on the Grand Line. Whether they are Navy or pirates, they will go there for entertainment. Not only that, I heard that even the Celestial Dragons would go there to play. Therefore, fighting is not allowed on that island, so even if you are a pirate, you don't have to worry about being captured by the Navy on that island."
"That sounds good."
"The fashion capital, the Champs-Élysées." Robin looked at the name on the Eternal Pose and provided additional information to everyone. "This is a consumer paradise consisting of five adjacent islands. It is also a trendsetting and fashion capital of the world!" Fashion and such are not very attractive!
"The last one is Alabasta," Rhodes spoke up and explained the information about the last Eternal Pose. "This is a superpower in the first half of the Grand Line. It should be located on our current route."
"So, are we going here?" Neru looked at Rhodes with inquiring eyes. If I remember correctly, this Eternal Pose was snatched from the Baroque Works when I was at Whiskey Peak. According to Rhodes, the boss behind Baroque Works is Crocodile, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. And the other party is the so-called protector of Alabasta.
"No!" Rhodes shook his head. "As much as I want to go to Alabasta to meet that Sand Crocodile, now is not a good time to go there." He explained, "After all, it is an island located on our original route. I'm afraid the Navy will deploy troops there and wait for us."
"It will take a year for Little Garden's magnetic force to be fully charged. We only stayed on the island for two days. The Navy should know this." Law asked doubtfully. Logically speaking, after only staying in Little Garden for two days, they would not have enough magnetic force to reach the next island on the route, and the Navy should not continue to chase them on that route.
"No, we can't gamble on the Navy's judgment." Rhodes waved his hand. "What if they don't think so much and go to Alabasta to wait for us? Then we will be walking into a trap." Rhodes did not have confidence in the thinking of many people in this world, and then pointed to another Eternal Pose. "Let's go here, to the entertainment capital of Lavis!"
"Clear!" Neru nodded, and Law said no more. The Polaris turned around and headed towards Lavis.
Marine Headquarters: Zephyr's Report and Garp's Indifference
Marine Headquarters, Marineford.
"Zephyr actually failed." Navy Admiral Sengoku put down the Den Den Mushi in his hand. This pirate group that just set out from the North Sea did not commit any major crimes or do anything particularly bad along the way. However, the waves they stirred up within the Navy were no small matter. I thought Zephyr would be able to arrest the other party this time, but I didn't expect that even he would fail. This pirate group seemed to have grown to a point where even the Marine Headquarters could not underestimate it. What Zephyr told him on the phone, besides the Rhodes Pirates, was something more important.
Giant Pirates! After a century, the two former captains of the Giant Pirates, the Blue Demon Dorry and the Red Demon Brogy, who had been dueling in Little Garden, set out to sea again! Thinking of the many giant Vice Admirals in the Navy and the few giants still guarding the gate at Judicial Island, Sengoku felt a dull pain in his head.
"Crack, crack—" The harsh sound continued to enter his ears, and Sengoku slammed the table hard. "Garp! Stop stealing my senbei!"
"Hahahahaha, I didn't steal your senbei." Garp was laughing without any image and kept stuffing senbei into his mouth. "I ate it in front of you!"
"Asshole!" Sengoku was furious, rushed over, grabbed a handful of senbei, and stuffed them into his mouth.
"Eat slowly!" Garp quickly protected his senbei. "It's just that pirate group. I just need to go and capture them." After quickly snatching the senbei on the table from Sengoku, Garp picked his nose and wiped it on Sengoku's body, turning the topic back to business before the other party got angry.
"It's not about the Rhodes Pirates!" Sengoku rubbed his head, then changed his tone. "However, the Rhodes Pirates are indeed troublesome. According to Zephyr, Rhodes was not at all inferior to him in the battle. Even if the two giants did not intervene, the outcome would be hard to predict."
"If Zephyr doesn't feel well, he should just stay in Marineford!" Garp took advantage of Sengoku's inattention and wiped it on his clothes again.
"He can't let go of the justice in his heart!" Sengoku's tone was complex. He had advised this old friend more than once to stay in Marineford and spend his remaining years in peace. However, Zephyr refused. For this veteran who has lost all his family members, dedicating his entire life to the "justice" of the Navy is his last wish.
"So, this red-haired brat is pretty powerful." Garp picked up the bounty poster of Rhodes that he had just dropped on the ground. "This bounty is too low."
"I'm just about to re-determine the bounty for them." Sengoku rubbed his head again. The bounty of this pirate group was growing too fast.
"It doesn't matter if they don't re-post it, I'll arrest them all!" Garp clenched his fist, and a hearty smile appeared on his face. "This brat's hair color reminds me of another bastard pirate!"
"Red hair?" Sengoku suddenly realized. "That guy is now the Pirate Emperor of the New World!"
After their encounter at Little Garden, the Rhodes Pirates depart, with Rhodes choosing their next destination from several Eternal Poses. He rejects Marineford, the Navy's secret base, and Alabasta (fearing a Navy trap), ultimately deciding to head for Lavis, the entertainment capital, known for its neutrality. Meanwhile, at Marine Headquarters, Admiral Sengoku expresses concern over Zephyr's failure to capture the Rhodes Pirates, especially given the giants' unexpected return to the seas. Vice Admiral Garp, ever nonchalant, dismisses the threat, but is intrigued by Rhodes's red hair, drawing a parallel to a powerful Pirate Emperor in the New World.
