Lira remained motionless, a blood thread still trickling from the corner of her mouth, a stark testament to the brutality she'd endured in the hands of the path-knight... Yvaine's eyelids fluttered, slowly, agonizing rise. Her vision swam, blurred and indistinct, before opening, the obsidian silhouette of the Black Knight attracted her focus.
