I dodge a light spear as I fly through the air to the Fallen Angel
He starts looking more and more desperate as I get closer to the point, and he just decides to throw a light blast toward me
I easily get rid of it by swiping my hand at it, and it disperses harmlessly
Glaring down at the Fallen, who is breathing heavily and with a look of hatred and resignation toward me, I get close to him and punch him in the face
I punch him again as he slowly turns to look at me with a dazed look on his face, and this time, he goes to the ground as he is now unconscious
I grab the Fallen and bring him down over to Irina and Xenovia, who are already wrapping some bindings on the Exorcists
"Is that all of them?" Xenovia asks me as I shake my head
"No, I can sense 2 more inside the Church, 3 if I count the one who is unconscious inside," I tell her as she nods at me and I start rushing inside
When I am transformed into an Angel, I am the High Class Level, even if only just barely
But the difference in power between a high-class and a low-class is massive
Low-class beings are able to break apart stone with considerable effort and are able to take on low-caliber bullets, granted, at the expense of leaving behind some minor bruises
Middle-class beings are stronger than that. Most middle-class beings know quite a bit of magic, and most mundane weaponry is outright useless against them
Explosives may have some effect, but it would depend on the High-Class being
Sure, one may have the power of a High-Class being, but that does not mean their bodies can withstand such power
I am firmly in the High-Class level, and I can handle that power
Going inside, I spot the blue-haired Fallen Angel on the ground, having broken a bench as she fell on it
I ignore her as she is firmly knocked out, and I watch as Irina and Xenovia come inside and begin to bind her
Looking around the church, I spot some stairs leading down, and I prepare myself for another fight
As I descend down the stairs, I spot another Fallen Angel, although this one looks younger, as she sends several light spears toward
I grab one and easily usurp control of it from the Fallen Angel and fly toward her while destroying the other light spears with it
The Fallen panics as she catches sight of my wings, and I manage to reach her, and I knock her out with a slap to the face
I glance at her for a moment
(She looks so young...) I think to myself for a few moments
She can't be older than 14 or 15...
Shaking my head, I go deeper and spot the final Fallen Angel running around inside a room, but what really catches my attention is a box she is carrying while trying to decide on something
"Stop," I tell her as she stops moving around and turns to look at me
She gasps in shock as she looks at my wings, before she gets a jealous and hateful look on her face
She moves the box behind her as she sends a light spear against me of surprising power
"What are you wearing?" I ask the Fallen as I simply smack the light spear out of the air and cause it to disperse as it breaks
She blinks once before simply reaching inside of the box and grabbing a small crystal glowing green
She breaks it in her hand, and energy enters her body from the broken crystal
A bow made of light appears in her hand, and I dodge as she sends a light arrow that pierces the wall behind me...leaving behind a rather big hole in it
(I can't simply break those arrows...they are actually stronger than what I can handle) I note to myself as I turn to look at the Fallen holding a bow made of green light, as a familiar feeling rises within me
A Sacred Gear...does she have Sacred Gears inside of that box...?
I dodge the other arrows that she sends after me
"JUST DIE ALREADY DAMN YOU..." She screams as she pulls the string made from light of the bow...also made from light
I feel my eyes narrow as the Fallen screams out as a bracelet that she was wearing breaks and shatters into pieces, and she starts to scream in pain as a visible amount of power seems to be hurting her from the inside
I ignore that and take the opportunity to blast her myself which seems to stop whatever is happening to her as she is knocked unconscious
I stare for a moment or so before slowly walking over to her
I nod to myself as I confirm that she is unconscious before I turn to look at the box she was holding
I lift the box and look inside to see around a dozen or so orbs inside
"Are these..." I stop myself from talking as I keep staring at the glowing orbs inside as my mind races
Sacred Gears...how?...when?... where they going to take Asia's...
I gulp as I realize the seriousness of the situation at hand
Turning around the room, I spot a wall with a magic circle drawn on it and a machine next to it
I gasp as I understand what they were doing here
They were collecting Sacred Gears...that would explain some of the disappearances in town but...there is around a dozen Sacred Gears inside of this box alone
Turning my head, I don't spot any other box, just in case,e and then I turn to look at the Fallen Angel on the ground
If people find out that there was a group going around taking Sacred Gears and then being able to use them for their benefit, everyone even slightly interested in Sacred Gears would hunt them down to the ends of the world
I turn to the magical circle on the wall and the machine and nod to myself as I raise my hand toward it
Concentrating a bit, my hand is then engulfed in Holy Fire
Then a stream of Holy Fire bursts out, and I burn the magic circle away
I stop the fire and absorb the flames, recovering a very small amount of my magical reserves as I stop the building from burning
Looking at the machine, I create a Light Spear powerful enough to kill a High-Class being with a direct hit and launch it toward the machine...breaking it
Turning to look at the Fallen in front of me...she has to know exactly what they have been doing
I frown as I look at the watch on my left hand
Griselda's contacts should be here to pick us soon
I take a deep breath and start to calm down.
I quickly use a binding spell on the Fallen Angel after confirming I have everything of importance in the room
I then drag her out with me...
