In front of a big city.
A line of people about 50 meteres long was standing, waiting for their turn to enter the city.
Entering a Big City required giving some money as fees or a token of proof for being invited by someone of relatively good reputaion and power in the city.
In the line, were few young men who carried smile on their faces which never seemed to fade. Among them was Xian Li. They were the group that Xian Li had met.
The group was here to sell things to make some profit. As this was their first time in a big city, they were a little nervous but they had came prepared and would not leave until they gather enough profit.
Then, came their turn. As soon as they gave the money, a scream sounded from the line.
The guards hurried towards the direction of the scream, and the guard who was taking money from them told them to wait, as he hurried towards the scream too.
The group also heard the scream and looked towards the direction the guards had ran towads. The still smile which never broke, suddenly became a worried smile yet stll a smile.
But before they could see anything, they heard a voice.
"You can go."
A burly man with an indifferent expression, who seemed to carry the aura of superiority came into sight. It was the captain of the guards responsible for this side of the city.
Hearing this, Xian Li and the group quickly went inside the city.
As soon as they entered the city, they were greeted by a sight of crowds of people walking in different directions. Some were buying, some were selling, some were eating, and some were doing other things. The city was decorated, not because of some event, but to increase the beauty of the city. And this decoration was always there till the end of the year, after whch it was changed with new decoration.
The group was thrilled to see the view.
"There is some space in that corner for us to set up our shop!"
The young man, whom Xian Li met first, said while pointing towards a corner with some space.
Seeing the space, Xian Li questioned-
"Isn't it too small?"
"Don't worry. We will manage it and also teach you how to do it."
After a while, the shop was completely set up with only some decorative material left to set.
Everyonr sighed, except Xian Li who was busy looking for any danger that might come and find them and he found none.
The Young man in charge said-
"Let's do it, shall we?"
"Yes!"
They all replied, including Xian Li, enthusiastically and excitedly. Xian Li secretly loooked towards the 'black horse' of the group and noticed that he seemed too happy. He had a smile different fron others, it was a lot more...wicked.
This was strange...
Xian Li decided to keep an eye out for him if he does anything which would affect them.
A while later.
A man wearing simple clothes appeared in front of the shop of theirs and stood there checking the fruits.
Xian Li and the others noticed him and their eyes lit up.
This was their first customer!!
The young man, who was also their leader, looked towards him and pointed toward the customer with the side of his eye, indicating him to go attend the customer. He looked at him and sighed and then went in front of the customer.
Xian Li, in a slowly yet elegant and kind tone, welcomed the customer-
"Welcome to our humble shop, de-dear customer."
He was Xian Li, the uncrowned ruler of Immortal Realm. But now he was attending customer in the mortal realm who was not even a cultivator. It was fraustrating enough for Xian Li to do this yet...
The customer even ignored him!?!!
This was simply his name getting tramped under the feets of a nobody!!
He kept the same expression on the outside but on the inside, he was fuming with rage!!
His smile had become more evidently forced and the customer noticed it. He shouted at him-
"What's with your expression, you dirty brat?! Know your place and keep that filthy head of yours down!"
And then?
SLAM !!!
