On the 18th floor, Gura was sitting on the chief seat that her father used to sit on. Her eyes were red and tears flowed down her cheeks as the memories of her childhood resurfaced in her mind.
The still freshly cut corpses of her tribe members were scattered in front of her eyes. Deep emotions flowed into her heart causing great pain.
After grieving for a few moments, she stood up with determination crossing her eyes. She couldn't avenge them, but she could at-least give the people close to her a peaceful rest.
Gathering some tools, she went into the pile of countless lifeless shells to collect the remains of her relatives whom she wanted to at least bury with a trace. Not like the others, rotting disgracefully in a pile of similar rotten flesh.
She quickly found everyone since all of them were present at this place. Then she began to dig the needed graves for those people. It took three entire hours to finish digging up the hard, almost stone-like dirt.
She then buried them all one by one as ten graves stood outside with ten sticks placed at the top instead of gravestones.
Gura sat in front of the graves clutching her knees. Her tears had already dried up, leaving only the tear stains and red eyes. She waited patiently for Dainsleif to come back. Her legs and hand muscles were aching terribly as she waited for an hour sitting there.
After an hour, sounds of footsteps wafted in her ears. She stayed calm and looked back to see Dainsleif walking towards her with a smile.
Dain looked at her and said, "Let's go."
Gura stood up and walked close to him. When she was close enough, Dain broke a sky blue colored crystal and a temporary teleportation array appeared below their feet. Its light engulfed them and disappeared from the pile of already dried black flesh and blood.

Back on the first floor of the dungeon, a blue light appeared in the middle of the floor and soon two figures of Dainsleif and Gura appeared from the blue light as it disappeared right after.
While Dain was still in a daze because of the sudden teleportation, a shadowy figure left Gura's shadow and merged with the surrounding shadows.
Dain quickly gained clarity and didn't notice anything strange. He sat in a lotus position, waiting for Gura to clear her mind. He then looked at his status window, calculating how much he had gained from this dungeon.
[STATUS WINDOW]

After killing the entire goblin race on the 18th floor, he only leveled up by only 8 levels. He then looked at his artifact descriptions.
[Sword of the Forgotten Fate] (B-Rank)

The wielder will also receive a portion of its Strength.
Status: Bound
The Fate sword has raised one rank by not only the fate of that unusual goblin, but also with the thing he received from the 20th floor. [A string of the forbidden Fate] He recalled the previous description of the item.
[String of Forbidden Fate]
Description: "Once upon a Time, a king wanted to achieve something forbidden. At the brink of success, the 'One Who Protects Fate' intervened and confiscated his connection to the 'Tapestry of Fate'.
He himself wasn't able to touch it, but the moment the sword touched it, it directly devoured it without hesitation and got stronger.
There was no hint of the demon anywhere. He didn't stay and explored every other floor because finding the demon would be impossible at this moment and if he stayed there even for a while would make them suspicious.
He was already inside the dungeon for about two and a half days. He was also bored of the darkness and wanted to come back up. He looked at the beautiful lights that brightened the floor in various colors.
Seeing that Gura still wasn't conscious, he just picked her up in a princess carry and walked out of the first floor.
Returning to the familiar underground chamber, soldiers were running around. The familiar class of students was all gathered to pick up their weapons and pieces of armors.
All six of the main people were there, waiting for others to be prepared. They had waited for everyone to unlock their mana veins before deciding to level up with everyone together.
Hestia and the other two girls were far away standing beside the heavy iron door. They haven't met with Dainsleif for the previous 2 days 12 hours 38 minutes and 15 seconds.
Their expression and appearance was gloomy and devoid of life as if a tree lost its roots.
Suddenly the heavy door opened and a man came out. Everyone turned to the person with blood flowing out of his head and ragged clothes that were ripped from various parts.
He was holding a green skinned woman in his arms in a princess carry. When everyone looked carefully, they were shocked to recognize the man as Dainsleif.
Everyone looked at him with their mouths agape. Then their gazes turned to the green skinned woman, her beauty stunned all the boys. After all, they all had 'that' type of fantasies back on Earth and were not unfamiliar with the race this girl might be. They all thought she might either be an orc or a goblin.
Everyone understood that their fantasy and this world's reality can be different.
Dainsleif quickly got close to the guards and asked for a place to lay her down. Following their instructions, he placed her in a nearby bed. A soldier handed him a lower grade healing potion which he fed to Gura.
Her body glowed in a faint red and soon after she opened her eyes and looked around confusingly.
The guard captain looked at the goblins neck and saw the familiar slave mark. He then looked at Dain's hand to see the other part of the mark. He looked at him and said in a teasing tone, "Hey~ man. You are quite lucky you know? These goblin slaves are very expensive on the market, you know?"
Dainsleif gave him a confused look, but the expression of everyone else changed drastically. They were all jealous. Boys were jealous because of the girl's beauty and Girls, because the slave was very expensive. Who wouldn't be jealous when someone receives a fortune, they were because they were not pure hearted saints.
But the most extreme reaction was from the three girls near the heavy door. Their faces were contorted with jealousy and anger.
Hestia's reason was because of Dain's style of carrying her. Azaria's reason was because of their physical touch and Penelope's reason was pretty much just the Slave mark, she was jealous because of that and nothing else mattered to her.
Their faces were twisted with jealousy as Dain picked her up and left the chamber toward his room.
To be continued…
