Chapter 28 - Chapter: 28, Ambush

The entire hall was silent with the crowd of goblins gritting their teeth with suppressed rage.

The tribe chief Garam also furrowed his brow in extreme scrutiny. He didn't expect the human to be so arrogant that he would admit to killing their kin in front of them. He sneered at Dain,

"So, you killed our kin and now want to have my daughter as a lover right under our nose and expect us to comply like nothing happened?"

Dain met his gaze with calm indifference, "Who's gonna stop me?" he asked, making everyone dumbfounded.

"What?" the chief asked while the entire crowd was silent with sheer astonishment.

"I mean, even if I do that 'which I am definitely gonna do'. Who'll stop me?" He asked again.

Garam's hand trembled with fury as he was unable to believe the arrogance of this human. Then a male goblin came to his side and whispered something in his ears. His rage subsided and a smug smile took place at his lips.

"So what if you have the crown of the Goblin King? I refuse to believe that the entire goblin race of this floor cannot defeat you." He said as if he were mocking him.

"All five of the goblin tribes are right outside. There is no way you can escape." Having heard that, the crowd quickly got excited. They began to shout with exhilaration,

"Yeah!! Even if he can defeat most of us, it doesn't mean he can defeat all of us!"

"Yes, we'll take revenge for our people!"

"Don't worry Princess. We'll avenge you!"

Gura looked at the scene with an awkward smile. She was happy that they had cornered her suppressor, but at the same time she was distressed knowing his strength wasn't limited to what he had shown her. She was also worried that her father's life might be threatened because of her.

Loud roars began to come from the outside. But Dainsleif still didn't have any sign of panic in his eyes. He still looked at them with the same lazy demeanor and said dismissively, "It's about time I return to the surface, so…"

"Hahaha, what? Scared now?"

"I thought he might be someone scary. But it turns out he's nothing but a sissy. Hahahaha"

"Hey girlie, I have my sister's jewelry. Let's bring them so you can finally accept your identity."

Every green skinned goblin was laughing, sure of their strength in overpowering him. The chief also has a mocking green on his face. Only Gura had a pale face. She had never seen him retreat and was sure Dain wouldn't dare fight with his strength.

His words made her uneasy, so she tried to warn everyone to not go too far when Dain's next words shunned her and made her go paler.

"…I should quickly clear this floor." Having said that, the silver colored tattoo on his hand moved out and materialized into a pristine silver sword that reflected the light emitted from the fire like a clean mirror.

The surrounding crowd's laughter intensified. They didn't believe a bit that this human could defeat them all. About what they heard from Gura, they just ignored it to the back of their mind.

The crowd was still laughing when the tribe chief, Garam, saw a white flash appear in his field of vision, which rang an alarm of danger in his head.

Without wasting any more time, he swift forward and with his full strength, pushed Dainsleif that sent him flying breaking through the roof to directly outside.

Garam looked at the scene where the white light went and froze, his eyes showed true horror that he felt after a long while since he became the tribe chief.

The scene in front of his eyes was filled with green blood scattering around with every goblin that stood there having their bodies sliced to half from various angles.

He could estimate that the human could defeat him with that sword intent. Now, Garam knew one thing for sure, he couldn't let that human live no-matter-what. Even if he were to team up with his rivals, he has to take that step.

Gura on the other hand, shook violently and her legs gave out as she fell on her knees. Her entire being was filled with fear since this was the first time she had ever seen her friends and relatives being decapitated like this.

Garam ordered someone to hide Gura somewhere safe and left to confront this dangerous human.

Outside the brooch tribe, four massive armies of goblin warriors with four of their leaders were waiting for the upcoming fight.

"Father, Is brother Grom really dead?" A green skinned girl asked with tears in her eyes. She was devastated when she learned that her brother Grom, who she loved the most, is killed by a human.

"It seems so. Garam isn't the type to lie, so it has to be the truth." A middle aged Goblin in exquisite battle armor replied to his daughter. Answering to his daughter, he then looked at the other three tribe chiefs.

Garams minions have informed them about the return of that legendary treasure. The treasure is said to have been assembled by the Human they spoke of.

Suddenly, everyone's attention was drawn by a falling figure that tore through the brooch tribe's chief hut. It soon landed right at the middle of the five forces.

As the dust settled, they witnessed the beautiful male from a different race. His golden blond hair fluttered within the dim light and his pale, clear and handsome face revealed itself.

Everyone looked at this human with weariness and pointed their weapons at him. All four of the Tribe chief's eyes landed on the golden crown on the man's head holding five crystalline emerald gems, which had a slight glow.

Dain looked at the four armies in front of him and the tribe at his back that completely surrounded him from all sides and sighed.

Thing….Will be troublesome.
