After a long two-hour drive, they finally arrived!
Noah, who had been sleeping, gradually woke up when he felt the car come to a stop.
As Noah glanced around, he noticed nothing but darkness. It felt like they were embraced by tall, majestic trees all around them.
The car stopped right in front of the only building, with a soft glow lighting up its entrance.
"We have arrived, sir!" Matthew switched off the car engine and exited the vehicle.
Noah hurried after Matthew and stepped into a house-like building.
He was surprised to learn that the two-story house was camouflaged. They were heading directly to the elevator hidden at the back.
Matthew's voice distracts Noah as they wait for the elevator. "This is one of our base camps in Opal City."
"But I didn't see anyone guarding this area? And there's no car park in the yard?" Noah asked, confused.
Matthew paused before responding, allowing Noah to enter the elevator first.
