'Whatever…' he thought, slowly rising to his feet.
His muscles still ached slightly, feeling a bit stiff, but he ignored it.
"I shouldn't just stay here…" he muttered under his breath. "Or I might get attacked."
He narrowed his eyes.
Most of the players were gathered in the heart of the village, their chatter mostly revolving around one name.
Terry.
The one who had "defeated the hungry demon."
The one who'd fought him.
A strange glint flashed across his eyes as he thought about it, and he sighed.
'I've always wanted to compare myself to you… but not like this.'
He exhaled, taking a step forward.
Then the world around him suddenly spun.
The ground tilted, and his body gave out, collapsing on the ground.
