Scene: The Healing at Dawn
Location: A quiet village nestled in a misty valley in rural Japan. The sun rises gently behind ancient cherry blossom trees. Birds chirp, and villagers begin their daily routines.
At the heart of the village stands a grand temple of white stone, marked with ancient symbols. Inside it, Kael'Zar lives — the high priest, miracle-worker, and protector of the people.
[INT. KAEL'ZAR'S TEMPLE — EARLY MORNING]
Soft chanting echoes in the background. Candles flicker along the marble walls. Kael'Zar, robed in deep crimson and gold, sits cross-legged on a circular rune etched into the temple floor, meditating.
DISCIPLE (mid-30s, respectful)
(entering and kneeling)
"Master Kael'Zar… forgive the interruption. A villager comes with a request. A child is ill — gravely. They seek your blessing."
KAEL'ZAR
(eyes still closed, voice deep but calm)
"Bring her to me, child. Let her heart speak."
[MOMENTS LATER — THE TEMPLE HEALING CHAMBER]
The little girl, no older than seven, is carried in by her mother and father. She's pale, trembling, barely conscious. The parents are weeping softly.
FATHER
(bowing repeatedly)
"Please, Master Kael'Zar… she won't wake. The doctors gave up. Please… she's all we have."
Kael'Zar slowly stands, his robe flowing like shadow and flame. He approaches, kneels beside the girl, and gently brushes her hair back.
KAEL'ZAR
(softly, to the girl)
"You are brave… Your spirit flickers like a candle in the storm. But I will not let it go out."
He places both hands on her chest. A soft red glow pulses from his palms. Symbols light up faintly around them. The girl gasps, her body jolts — then calms. Her skin flushes with warmth. She opens her eyes.
GIRL
(whispers)
"…It's not cold anymore…"
The mother sobs in joy. The father falls to his knees in gratitude.
MOTHER
"You saved her! You truly are a gift from the gods!"
KAEL'ZAR
(smiling gently)
"No, my dear. I am merely a servant of balance… and today, the world wished her to live."
[EXT. TEMPLE COURTYARD – MOMENTS LATER]
Villagers gather outside, cheering as the family emerges, holding their daughter. A crowd surrounds the temple, chanting Kael'Zar's name.
VILLAGER #1
"He's a saint!"
VILLAGER #2
"No — more than that! He's our protector!"
Kael'Zar walks out behind the family, calmly raising a hand for silence.
KAEL'ZAR
(warmly)
"Love one another. Stand together. In the end, light only survives when it is shared."
They bow as he turns and walks slowly back into the temple, face calm… but unseen by all, the light in his eyes flickers — and behind it, a deeper, ancient darkness watches… waiting.
SCENE TITLE: "Children of God"
Setting: A remote countryside village in modern-day Japan, surrounded by misty forests and disconnected from city life. Despite the date being 2024, the village is deliberately kept "simple" — no smartphones, no real internet, by Kael'Zar's influence. His wealth maintains the village, provides electricity, food, medicine — and keeps people loyal.
PART 1: THE CALLING
[EXT. VILLAGE SQUARE – MORNING]
A loud, polished steel bell rings from the Temple tower. Speakers click on and play soft chanting music. Villagers step out of their homes, gathering like it's a community announcement.
A well-dressed disciple, wearing a red temple jacket with a digital tablet in hand, stands on a modern podium mounted with LED lights. The contrast is eerie — modern tech blended with cultic devotion.
DISCIPLE (firm, calm tone)
"By the will of our High Priest Kael'Zar, seven children are needed for divine temple service. Ages ten and under. Let the faithful offer their own, so that they may serve God beyond this world."
A hush falls over the crowd — and then, warm murmurs of gratitude ripple through. Parents begin nodding. Some children smile, having been raised with stories of this honor.
MOTHER (to daughter, quietly)
"You've always been special. God has called you."
FATHER (holding son's shoulders)
"It's a higher purpose. I'll miss you, but I'm proud."
In the background, an old man leans on his cane, watching with hollow eyes.
OLD MAN (to himself)
"None of them ever come back…"
A few villagers give him stern looks, shushing him like he spoke blasphemy.
PART 2: THE CEREMONY
[INT. TEMPLE ATRIUM – LATE EVENING]
Parents and children are brought into a luxurious, polished marble hall. LED candles flicker in clean steel sconces. Sacred holograms play softly on the walls — digital renderings of 'God' as light.
Kael'Zar steps out wearing flowing white and red robes. His eyes are warm, his smile reassuring. He places his hand on each child's head, speaking gently.
KAEL'ZAR
"You are the chosen ones. Vessels of heaven's light. This is not goodbye, but your beginning."
He gives each child a glowing pendant and a white robe. The parents are in awe.
CHILD (small voice)
"Will I see you again, Mama?"
MOTHER (teary, smiling)
"No, my love… but I'll see you in the stars."
The children wave goodbye. Kael'Zar leads them deeper into the temple. The doors slide closed with a low hiss.
PART 3: THE TRUTH REVEALED
[INT. HIDDEN TEMPLE CHAMBER – NIGHT]
The children follow Kael'Zar through a pristine hallway. The lights flicker. Suddenly, the sleek corridor opens into a massive underground chamber that looks impossibly large — glowing red symbols pulse on the floor.
The space is horrifying. Demonic creatures crawl along the walls. Screams echo faintly. Other children — older — are nailed to the walls in grotesque rituals. Mechanical arms twitch from the ceiling, dripping black fluids.
At the center is a massive, fleshy portal, surrounded by pulsing leech-like creatures with four legs and a single glowing eye.
The children panic. One tries to run. Kael'Zar raises a calm hand, smiling.
KAEL'ZAR (soothingly)
"Don't be afraid… Your service has just begun."
Dark red veins stretch from the floor and wrap around their feet. His eyes glow faintly red. As he spreads his arms, the children scream — and then collapse one by one, unconscious.
Fade to black.
[TV BROADCAST — GLOBAL NEWS NETWORK]
Footage of destruction rolls across the screen: shattered cities, demonic corpses, smoke rising over battlefields.
"Evolving demon sightings have spiked across five continents, with confirmed Monarch-class appearances in Berlin, Lagos, and South Korea. GSSA officials are calling for global coordination. Some experts warn: the world is changing."
Scene: GSSA Headquarters, Japan – Minato's Office
The sliding doors of Commander Minato's office hissed open. Lucan and his squad stepped out one after the other, the room behind them still echoing with the quiet weight of strategic discussion.
Lucan exhaled lightly, adjusting the collar of his uniform. The hallway lights buzzed faintly overhead.
"That's our tenth mission this quarter," Hana said with a satisfied grin, brushing her blonde bangs aside. "At this rate, Minato might actually run out of demons to send us after."
Takeshi scoffed. "You wish. Demons are just getting weirder. Did you hear the report from Italy? An entire city block wiped out in five minutes."
Reika, walking quietly beside Lucan, looked up at him. "It's getting worse. I can feel it… It's like something big is coming."
Lucan nodded but remained silent.
They reached the main hall, where most squads would've headed to the lounge or outside for a break. But Lucan stopped.
"I'll see you guys later," he said, his tone quiet but final.
"You're not coming with us?" Hana raised an eyebrow.
"Not today. I have somewhere to be," Lucan replied, not looking back.
"Somewhere like where?" Takeshi asked, a teasing edge in his voice.
Lucan just offered a shrug. "Just something I need to take care of." And with that, he turned and walked off.
The team stood In place for a moment.
Takeshi watched him go, then exhaled. "That boy…"
Reika's gaze lingered on Lucan's back until he disappeared around a corner.
Hana smirked and shifted closer to Reika. "You and Lucan have been spending an awful lot of time together these past few months."
Reika blinked, suddenly flustered. "H-Huh? What are you talking about?"
Takeshi folded his arms, grinning. "Come on, we're not blind. You two always train together. He walks you home when he thinks no one's watching."
"And don't think we missed the way you blushed when he held your hand during that last healing session," Hana teased.
Reika turned crimson. "Don't say that! I'm not even sure if he likes me like that…"
Takeshi leaned in, dramatically squinting at her. "I'm going to get to the bottom of this."
Reika groaned and covered her face. "Why are you both like this?"
"Because we're friends and it's adorable," Hana said, laughing.
They continued walking down the hallway, the teasing atmosphere lingering in the air like sunshine after rain.
Then Takeshi suddenly paused.
"…But seriously though," he muttered, his tone shifting, "Where does Lucan even go these days?"
The girls stopped, the question hanging in the air.
Hana glanced back toward the direction Lucan had disappeared. "I've been wondering the same thing."
The moment passed quietly, a subtle tension threading its way through the cheerful teasing.
Scene fades.
Scene: Hoshizora Orphanage – Late Afternoon
The sun dipped lower, casting golden light over the weathered buildings and the large backyard of Hoshizora Orphanage. Lucan Elias walked up the familiar gravel path, Elucan trotting by his side with eager excitement. A breeze rustled the trees as the sound of children's laughter spilled over the fence.
The second Lucan stepped through the open gate, the peaceful air was pierced by squeals of joy.
"LUCAN-NII!!"
"ELUCAN!!"
A flood of kids raced toward him, swarming around his legs and nearly knocking him over. Elucan barked happily and leaped into their arms, licking faces and wagging his tail furiously.
Lucan smiled, something rare and honest, and knelt to hug the kids. His voice was calm but warm.
"Alright, alright. I brought snacks again."
"YEEESS!!"
He unzipped his bag and began distributing paper-wrapped melonpan, candies, and small toys. The younger ones danced around while older kids helped share them.
Standing a little away from the group was a two-year-old toddler with wide black eyes and a teddy bear. The little boy's name was Haru.
Lucan walked over and bent down, arms open.
"Hey, Haru."
The boy smiled brightly and toddled over, lifting his arms. Lucan scooped him up, cradling him like he'd known him forever.
"Missed me?" Lucan asked softly.
"Haru missed Lucan-nii," the boy mumbled against his shoulder.
Lucan's smile deepened. "I missed you too, buddy."
In the distance, the caretakers watched. Ms. Rin, one of the senior staff, approached with a grateful look.
"Welcome back, Lucan. You always know how to bring light to this place."
He nodded. "I brought some supplies too. Delivery's tomorrow."
"You're always doing too much. We can't thank you enough."
He didn't reply. Just a small nod — but his eyes lingered on the kids playing with Elucan.
Scene: Later – Story Time
As the sun began to set, Lucan gathered all the kids in the backyard. Some sat cross-legged on the grass, others climbed onto tires and benches, and Haru sat in Lucan's lap sucking his thumb.
Lucan cleared his throat. "Alright. Storytime. Want to hear about one of my jobs?"
"YES!!" they all shouted.
He raised a brow. "Even the scary parts?"
"YES!!"
He smirked. "Alright then."
He began recounting one of his earlier missions — how he and his squad faced off against a mid-tier demon in an abandoned subway. He described the smoke, the shadows, the way Reika used a light spell to blind the creature, how Takeshi zapped it from above, and how Hana kept their team alive with healing pulses.
His voice was calm, steady, but vivid enough that the kids were hanging onto every word.
"And then, I stood over it. It had already regenerated twice. So I set my hands on fire, focused everything into a single punch—"
"YOU PUNCHED A DEMON?!" a boy shouted.
Lucan grinned. "Straight through the head."
The kids erupted with cheers.
After more laughter and a few exaggerated reenactments, the caretakers began ushering them inside for bedtime. Haru refused to let go, clinging to Lucan's jacket until the last moment.
Lucan finally rose, giving the boy a final hug.
"Be good, okay?"
Haru nodded, eyes already heavy with sleep.
Ms. Rin walked him to the gate. "You really are part of this family now."
Lucan gave her a polite bow. "Thank you. I'll come back soon."
"Be safe out there, Lucan."
Scene: Lucan's Apartment – Evening
Lucan unlocked the door to his modest apartment and stepped inside, Elucan padding in behind him.
He froze.
Sitting comfortably on the couch, legs crossed and sipping tea like he lived there, was Akihiko Mori.
Lucan blinked. "…How the hell did you get in here?"
Elucan barked once in shock, ears perked.
Akihiko gave a casual smirk. "Relax. I still have my connections. That spare key under your AC vent? Not a great hiding spot, by the way."
Lucan narrowed his eyes. "You're unbelievable."
Akihiko stood up. Same cocky energy, but now dressed in a sleek black suit and black gloves. "It's good to see you, though. You've been doing well, haven't you?"
Lucan leaned against the wall, arms crossed. "I've been managing."
"No, you've been more than managing. Word about your team has gone international. Missions completed, zero casualties. GSSA Japan is buzzing. And Minato hasn't joined you once?"
Lucan shook his head.
Akihiko chuckled. "Impressive. You've really made a name for yourself here."
A short pause. Then, Akihiko's tone shifted — more serious.
"…Your father wants to speak with you."
Lucan's expression changed.
"…What?"
Akihiko didn't repeat himself. Just looked at him evenly.
Silence settled in the room.
The camera slowly panned out as Lucan stood frozen, a flicker of emotion on his face.
Scene fades.
