Chapter 11 - Private trainer (1)

The sword came from a monster's body part, something hard from a living creature's body is bone. And Leo who had experienced many battles and had enough knowledge, immediately realized that the monster's sword was not as hard as it looked.

From the beginning, bones were not even equal to metal, so Leo was brave and confident that his attack would win.

However, even though the sword was not strong enough, what he was facing was still an Elite level monster. The monster slowly began to regrow its sword.

Leo had to defeat it immediately before the sword grew back, but there was still another monster nearby ready to attack him.

Dahlia knew Leo's situation, so she moved quietly and jumped to stab the Mutant's back from behind with her active sword ability.

"We have to gather with the others soon, so don't take too long."

Leo nodded and became more excited. The time Dahlia gave was only a few seconds, but it was enough to help him because he only needed about 30 seconds to defeat the Angel monster.

Dahlia left her sword that was still emitting lightning stuck in the Mutant's back, so even though the paralysis effect only lasted a few seconds, the lightning that continued to attack made it difficult for the Mutant to interfere with Leo's fight.

After Leo defeated the Mutant, they met Kania who had also finished defeating her opponent, and took the Magis Crystal from inside the monster's body before regrouping with the others.

After they arrived, Leo was surprised to see dozens of monster corpses lying around, and thought that the fight there was fiercer than the one he had experienced.

After almost 1 hour, the Dimensional Crack was finally closed, and the density of magis energy they felt began to decrease slightly. However...

"The sun will start to rise soon, we don't have much time." Dahlia said.

"Let's start finishing from the closest to the construction site first." Faris said.

"I agree. The mission objective is to secure the construction workers. If we start from the furthest, I'm afraid the monsters will move there instead." Leo said.

"But you better not make a fuss. Your commander doesn't want the project to be disturbed." Izrail said.

They understood, for diurnal people, it was still too early for a commotion and bad news.

"Then please disassemble the device again because this trip will be quite far." Anjie said.

"Can't you see what I'm doing?"

They saw Karen who had started to disassemble the device, and were surprised because they hadn't been talking about it for 1 minute, but Karen had almost disassembled half of it.

"Did you predict it?" Izrail asked.

"I'm quite good at disassembling something."

"But not by putting it back together. I still remember when she forcibly disassembled my spear." Faris said.

"That's because the flashlight on the tip of the spear is a ridiculous thing! You made some of us have trouble because the light shines everywhere."

Izrail watched as they argued, and then saw Anjie and Leo who ignored him, and Dahlia and Kania who smiled slightly.

"Even though the situation is critical." As Izrail thought like that, he saw Dahlia who turned to him with a small smile on her face.

For the next few hours, they closed all the Dimensional Cracks that had appeared or were about to appear, and also cleared all the monsters in area 5~

As Dahlia took a breath of air and enjoyed the warmth of the morning sun, Izrail came and knelt down on one knee near her to match their heights.

"You look exhausted."

"Yes. But it's okay, I can still hold on." Dahlia looked at the small device in her hand that only displayed a few bars out of ten.

Unlike people who used carbohydrates as an energy source and could estimate when their energy would start to run out by feeling hungry, Dahlia, who used fat as an energy source, didn't know for sure when her energy would start to run out.

If she followed the others and ate every time she was hungry, she would likely have health problems. So Dahlia needed some kind of device like a calorimeter to calculate the remaining main calories and reserve calories she had.

"We've cleaned everything up. Some might still appear, but that's normal in these conditions."

Dahlia checked the density of magis energy in their place which was now less dense than when they arrived. "You're right. Next... Should we inform the person in charge of this project?"

"Your two members are doing it. Of course, they won't tell everything, and will keep important information under wraps."

"Oh. Then about the missing workers...?"

"We've done the investigation, and got the results. The rest is none of our business."

"Is that enough?"

"Hm?, you haven't been informed?. Last night Anjie and Kania conducted an investigation too, and discussed it with the others while you were resting earlier. Faris intends to leave the rest to those responsible according to the rules. So our job is done here."

"It seems... everyone already knows what to do, huh."

Izrail noticed Dahlia's slightly lowered face, and remembered what Zen had said.

"A team leader doesn't always have to give orders. As long as you care about your team members, and are able to make the right choices, that's enough."

When Izrail stroked Dahlia's head, Dahlia was a little surprised by the caress, and slowly felt comfortable.

"Thank you." Dahlia said after feeling better.

"Senior Izrail, do you ride a motorbike?" Dahlia asked.

"I have a little trauma with car sickness."

"Car sickness?"

"I heard that in ancient times, before the use of nitrogen and electricity was widespread, cars still used petroleum as fuel, and had an unpleasant odor." Anjie said.

"What is petroleum?" Kania asked.

"Oil is a fossil product that was buried millions or billions of years ago. I understand if you don't know, after all, petroleum has not been used since drilling was banned."

"Why?" Dahlia asked.

"Too much waste and emissions are produced. Even though they said they would take responsibility, it was all just nonsense."

"Because the entire planet will be affected?" Dahlia guessed.

"Yes."

"Enough talk, and let's go back soon." Izrail said.

"All the energy tanks are full, and can't be reduced anymore, this will take up more space. Kania and Dahlia have small bodies... Izrail, do you mind riding with them?" Faris asked.

"No problem."

Izrail immediately put Dahlia and Kania on his motorbike. When Izrail saw that Dahlia had a little difficulty getting a grip while sitting in front, he immediately hugged and held Dahlia's body with his left hand, and decided to ride with only one hand.

After Izrail checked that Kania was sitting behind hugging him and looked ready, he immediately started his motorbike.

"Then we'll go first."

"Yes. We'll catch up right after putting all of this in." Faris replied.
