Deep within the Elysian realm
–Crack–
Alerted by the intrusion upon the realm, 5 Sims arrive.
They try their best to analyse it.
Sim Elysia – "Su anything?"
Sim Sakura – "Doesn't matter, just capture or destroy it." She readied her blade, stance ready to attack whatever comes through.
Sim ??? – "Why don't we just bring Zero? He'd be able to deal with this."
Sim Rin – "Could we even reach Onii–Chan? Only Kevin, Elysia and Aponia were able to breach that barrier last time. And they had to do it TOGETHER." Rin's words shut down ???'s thoughts.
Sim Su – "How do we–"
–Crack–
A pulse accompanied the crack this time.
They all tensed up. Moments later they realised it wouldn't open yet.
2 more Sims arrived feeling the ominous energy from the pulse.
Sim Griseo – "Nothing." She said one word.
That caused them to feel dread. If even Griseo couldn't feel anything that means at the very least it's nihilistic in nature.
Sim Kosma – "We really need Zero or Nil at the least to deal with this." His shaky voice gave stage to the reality before them.
Sim Elysia – "But they're deeper than Aponia or Kevin. No one other than Zero could find them in time.
–Crack– –Crack–
Two cracks this time. It started to look like a fracture now. Two more pulses accommodated it.
Sim ??? – "Fuck this is getting real bad." She drew her own blade, it became coated in Honkai and traces of lightning.
3 more Sims arrived. The currently gathered 10 Sims now surrounded the fracture. All tense and worried for what's to come.
Sim Kalpas – "Can I tear it apart… Please." He paused before saying please, remembering what Aponia would do if he didn't.
Sim Eden – "Ellie, what is it? It feels familiar–"
Sim Mobius – "Like her right?" Her eyes narrowed on ???.
Sim ??? – "Don't look at me, I don't have access or knowledge of that. Only she does." Mobius looked like she didn't believe her.
Sim ??? – "I'm telling the truth. She even tried to explain it to me, it was like she was speaking gibberish. I couldn't understand a word." She raised a hand to her head, getting a headache remembering it.
Sim Rin – "So what do we do?" She was a hairs away from running off to try and find Kevin or even… Aponia. 'Ugh I shiver even thinking of her.'
Sim Su – "Alter. Can you use the key? It holds traces of her energy. It might be able to deal with whatever comes through."
Sim ??–Alter – She showed a painful smile. "I could try. Me and her are not one here, so I might not be able to use it without repercussions." Even with that she summoned the blade that flew through the realm before slipping into her hand, giving a low hum.
Sim Eden – "Guess you can? Do you feel anything, No Honkai will crap?" Eden asked. Concerned for Alter's mental state with the Will contained in that blade.
The rest felt the same, casting gazes of concern and worry at her.
Sim Alter – "Nope I feel great in fact. Heh, maybe it accepted m–"
–Zap–
Sim Elysia – "Guess not~" she giggled at that.
Sim Mobius – "Uhh, maybe we should focus on the, you know, fracture in the realm.
–Crack– Crack– –Crack–
The fracture grew, the pulses stronger, even holding weight to them, forcing the chasers back a few paces.
–POP–
2 more Chasers appeared
Sim Pardo – "What is it? I was sleeping with Can until now?" She rubbed her eyes and looked left recognising the person. "Oh Kebin, it must be something for you to show."
Sim Kevin – "Yes… I can't feel anything from it, Griseo?" He tossed a question to her, though her flinch gave away to him how bad it must be.
Sim Griseo – "Nothing. Nothing. Nothing." Like a broken record the painter repeated herself. Kosma nearby pulled her away comforting the empath.
Sim Kalpas – "I'll rip and tear until it's done." Seeing the effect it had on Griseo set him off. For something to harm her innocence so much activated his protective instincts.
Sim Sakura – She held her sword up in front of Kalpas. "Hold it Kalpas. We don't even know if we can touch it without vanishing. You saw what happened to the 11th when she slashed them. They vanished from existence, if it wasn't for Zero ripping the core out of them we'd have lost the Oath of Judah with it."
Sim Rin – "Then what? I can't corrupt what's already been corrupted. You saw what happened when I touched Nil's energy field in training." Eden, Alter and Su nodded aggressively in agreement with her.
–Crack– –Crack– –Crack– –Crack– –Crack–
The fracture just grew and grew, getting larger and larger.
The force behind the pulse grew heavier and heavier, pushing and causing them to increase their energy outputs to not be pushed back.
This continued until–
–SHATTER–
They watched on in horror as a grotesque black slimy tentacle reached through the now gate sized opening.
Sim Mobius – "Elysia, Eden test shots." She ordered, as Elysia complied, transforming into her Herrscher form, drawing her bow.
Eden summoned a copy of Star of Eden and charged a cannon shot.
They both looked towards each other. A nod of agreement and they both fired.
Both shots, surpassing that of lightspeed, instantly reached the tentacle, both on contact fizzled. They thought it meant it would be useless.
What surprised them was that the fizzled parts of the attacks tore through the tentacle, wounding it, and causing it to flail in place.
Sim Kevin – "Again!" They did so but were stronger this time.
They fizzled but less than before, and pierced the tentacle, splitting it in two. The tip of it landed on the ground.
It soon began to crumble into ash, flaking into nothing.
The rest of the tentacle retreated into the opening.
–ZHOOOM–
It started to close. They thought it had ended but then…
–DOOOM–
The realm and closing opening shook.
–DOOOOOM–
Sim Alter – "What the fuck is that?!" She almost lost her footing there.
Sim Rin – "Oof, ow." She wasn't so lucky and fell on her ass.
–DOOOOOOOM–
–BOOOOM–
It exploded. The opening that had previously been closing. Broke open growing many times in size as a cacophony of tentacles burst through. flailing and attacking whatever they could reach.
Sim Sakura – "Move!" She followed by the rest jumped back out of the strike range of these tentacles.
Sim Kevin – "Elysia! Eden!"
Sim Elysia/Eden – "We're on it!" They both went full power and unleashed a barrage of attacks at them.
It was a slaughter fest. It didn't matter how many there were, they were torn to shreds all the same.
When they stopped the tentacles looked more like swiss cheese if anything.
Sim Mobius – "Alter seal it!" Her voice panicked and quick. This could be the only chance they have.
Alter took a stance, breathed deeply and muttered. "Void: Oblivion"
She grit her teeth as her muscles bulged, pain shot through her body. Still she slashed twice. That was it, two slashes, a red X pattern formed in its wake.
It erased the tentacles, the remains, everything in its path was erased. Once it reached the opening, the realm froze as reality glitched. The opening silently sealed itself.
11 chasers stood while one collapsed.
Griseo rushed to Alter's side, watching over her as she started to cry.
Sim Alter – She reached up to her despite the pain and wiped Griseo's tears. "Don't cry, I'll be fine. It just hurts a little is all. Give it a few minutes ok." Even through her own blood soaked tears she smiled at Griseo.
Griseo in turn sucked it up and nodded and hugged Alter.
They had survived the disaster, but who's to say they won't again in future.
