Chapter 6 - Vol.1 || Ch 3.6 - The World of Magic

A/N: Exam starting on 26th June. I was bored today. So, I decided to finish the unfinished chapter. In doing so, I officially introduced Xenoverse, Omniverse & Infinity. These are the official details on what it is. Not the old one. I will update that page (chapter) soon.

Pls comment if you like it. If not, then I might have to abandon it. I do not want to waste time on something that people don't like reading.

Anyways, I am open to suggestions.

Enjoy!

Some time later...

A Xenoverse was a cluster of dimensions governed by a singular, reality-defining entity. Multiple Xenoverses—each following similar natural laws—collectively formed an Omniverse. And beyond that lay Infinity itself, teeming with uncountable Omniverses.

Though Xenoverses within an Omniverse may follow similar natural laws, no two are truly the same. For example, this world of magic. This world was not like Jin's universe. It was finite, yet layered almost infinitely—each layer a distinct realm stacked atop or beneath another. Many of the lower layers were desolate or unstable, while the First Layer was home to the Supreme Ruler of this vast structure called the Xenoverse.

After exchanging knowledge about their worlds and uncovering the stark differences between them, the trio began their journey toward the First World—the realm where the supreme ruler of the Xenoverse resides. Their goal: to inform the ruler of an emerging danger that had gone unnoticed even by those meant to protect against such threats. Ray, a fighter from the Sylphian race and guardian of the Ragon Balls, had been captured in secret. Even Sei, his companion from the same race's revered Sage Clan, whose eyes are said to perceive all things.

As they flew, Jin raised an eyebrow and asked, "You're really sure this is the shortcut, Ray? Feels like we're flying the opposite way."

Ray nodded calmly, wings adjusting against the shifting air currents. "Yeah. It might not make sense to you right now—your world doesn't operate like ours. But remember, this is a finite world. You'll understand what that means soon enough."

Sei, fluttering just ahead, pointed into the horizon. "We're close. Look—just there."

Jin squinted, but all he saw was more of the same: a sea of endless, shifting clouds with no landmarks in sight. Then suddenly, as they passed through a certain spot in the air, Jin shuddered. Something invisible had brushed against his senses.

He stopped mid-flight. "What was that?"

Sei glanced back, smiling. "That was a boundary seam—crossing it flips your orientation in space. You'll see what I mean."

Ray added, "Now, if you fly straight in this direction, you'll eventually reach the same lookout platform we left from. But it would take hours—maybe days."

Jin blinked, then chuckled. "I get it now. It's like that game I played once… something about eating pellets in a maze. Pac… something-Man?"

Sei then pointed towards something. "There! Look."

Rising from the cloudscape ahead was a massive structure—a grand lookout, far larger than the one they had departed from. It shimmered with energy, resting atop a floating island ringed with light.

"From here," Sei said, "we can travel between world layers safely."

Jin hovered in place, eyes wide. A slow grin crept across his face—this was the kind of madness he lived for. Even if entire worlds were at stake… how often does someone get to live an adventure like this?
