Ethan had never seen Teacher Cat so angry before; it seemed she genuinely wanted to stew the Chief Priest of Gear City.

Upon returning to the apartment, Cat jumped off his shoulder, transformed into her human (maid outfit) form, sat at the table, and slapped it with a loud "bang," snapping, "Ethan, don't let yourself be fooled by these chaotic people in the future!"

Ethan noticed the Chief Priest's familiarity with his actions, clearly not the first time he had done this. He could only sigh at how deep the waters of Gear City were; it was somewhat overwhelming for a young man from a rural town.
He also observed that the clergy in Saint Hilman Cathedral were both male and female; he wondered if any young boys in the city had fallen victim.
