Days passed like a summer breeze since the enrollment ceremony and soon it was the day Damien and Ahara had been waiting for all December—the day to go shopping for Damien's school stationery.
But they had to get money from the bank in the Draconic region first.
That's why Damien was dressed in heavy warm clothing and sipping his tea, ready for the cold he was about to face where they were headed. Charles had warned the siblings that the city they were planning on visiting would be snowing at this time of the year—which meant they had to be prepared for it, only, Ahara was taking too long to finish her preparations.
'Should I go and check up on her or not?'
Before Damien could make a decision though, a knock sounded on their doorbell, making him pause from sipping his tea. He didn't need to guess who it was, after all, he was the one who asked the man to come—and the way he knocked was now but familiar irritating music to Damien's ears.
