Ymir remembered that His Majesty had zero control of himself when he was in his pure wolf form, so he was glad that His Majesty didn't transform into that one instead because he couldn't imagine the sheer damage that wolf could've caused. Most importantly, Lady Odette might accidentally get killed by that mindless wolf.
"I know that I am no match against you, Your Majesty," Ymir muttered, even though the Masked Alpha didn't seem to listen. "But I've done my part. Do you remember what I told you when I was young?"
"When I was young, I told you that snake beastmen have always been looked down upon as wretched beings. We're not liked by any other beastmen because of our appearance," Ymir murmured as he recalled the past. "I thought that someone like me would never be able to gain my freedom and learn magic even if I wanted to. I would be stuck as an average snake beastman who had to do shady business just to get by."
